I always play the Sunken Treasure slot and this is the second time I noticed an error. When you get 3 pirate ships it takes you to the bonus round where you get to choose treasure chests. When I selected 3 chests, there was a blue gem in every chest which takes you to the next round and you get to select 3 more chests which contain dollar amounts. The amounts shown were $6, $6, and $20. When it took me back to the main screen it only showed that I had made $18. This also happened to me about 3 months ago and when I emailed support they told me that they checked the logs and I was mistaken - I know I was right that first time and I know what I saw tonight. Has anyone else noticed this with any of the RTG games? I emailed support after it happened and am just waiting to see what they say. It's not just about the money - they need to fix this so it doesn't keep happening to depositing players.

It could be a display glitch which would not be visible to the casino staff.
What you need to do is take screenshots of the bonus round, and then the main slot screen right afterward. Then you will have some evidence of what you are seeing.

KK can I ask what you mean by the main slot screen right after?

Thanks

These display errors, or quirks, hardly inspire trust, especially when the player sees clearly that they won $6 + $6 + $20, the end result is $18, and CS try to fob you off with "you must have been mistaken".

Player probably starts to think "YOU must have been CHEATING then", and wants a PROPER explanation, backed up with LOGS to demonstrate that they were NOT cheated out of the $32, nor the prize for the 3 Pirate ships that triggered the bonus in the first place.

If this is really short paying, it is an ENORMOUS difference, $32 PLUS the triggering win, but ONLY $18 displayed.

RTG slots are a bit "quirky" sometimes, and MAYBE it is ONLY the triggering win ($18) that is shown, and the bonus win goes straight to the balance.

To check. Play slot, but with "stop on feature" selected, and listen for the bell. Note balance on entry to bonus round, you have to be quick, because it automatically shifts focus to the bonus game. On exit, do the maths, and even if the displayed win is wrong, check the ending balamnce then, and after another slot spin, which should ensure ALL pending win balances are accumulated into the total.

PS - you were damn lucky to get THREE blue Gems from only THREE chests. What you REALLY want though, are the RED Gems:D

Vinyl, You might be exactly right - It may have shown $18 under the win but the whole total could have gone into my balance. This is the second time I have seen this exact scenario on this slot and the first time I contacted support and they said I was mistaken. This second time resulted in them saying:

Hi Beth,

Thank you for your email.

I have passed on your query to our software provider RTG and they will look into it and see if they can find anything. Once we have heard back from them we will email you with their findings.

Thanks everyone for your input and help! And yes, the best outcome would be the red gem!!!!

OK - Now I know for sure that there is an error! I was just playing Sunken Treasure again (it's my favorite) and was spining at $2.00 / hand. I received 2 blue gems in the bonus round - it gave me $20 in the first chest and $500 in the second - I was blown away! It only paid a total of $40. I emailed support again as I have not heard any update since the first time I noticed this. This is something that needs to be fixed ASAP!

This is not good news.

$520 down to $40 is a huge difference and if in fact this did happen and the casino explains away again that is must be player error or mistake it will not leave a very good taste in our mouths.

You really, really should of gotten a screenshot of that, without it you have no proof.

Can I get a screenshot if the amount only shows for a few seconds? i"m just really frustrated at this point - I'm in no way looking for money out of this, I just want them to believe this and do something to fix it. I will be sure to take a screenshot the next time - I wish I would have done this! This is the email they sent me today:

Hi Beth,

I have heard back from our software provider and unfortunayely they could find no error. They said "game ID 209307210 is the only game with payout > $40 with a $2 bet for the last two days on suken treasure and the payout is ok". I hope this clarifies the situation.

when you open the treasure box and it says your prize just press "print screen" on your keyboard, when the game goes back to original screen don't press anything and take another "print screen" that will prove if there is an error. The balance you won in the treasure box picking will show in your winning box. If there is a difference you will have proof.

I'm wondering if Cherry Red was notified of this thread?

I play Sunken Treasure all the time at Bodog, and I've never gotten a red gem - what does the red gem give you?

If you are playing say a $0.40 bet and blue gem will normally give $4.00 but a red gem will give you $40.00, that's what I get all the time anyway.

Yes, you are right on the amounts that are usually awarded. I knew this was unusual both times when it said those amounts - I was blown away actually - especially last night when it said $500.

I've had $50 once from a blue gem, betting 0,40, so blue gems can pay high also.
Never seen a red gem.
But if it shows 500 you should get 500, not 20.
