Took a bonus with BGO and played on the game victorious which I have just learned is excluded from bonus play , it wasn't when I joined so will they confiscate any winnings?

Dont know what made me check them again, I know I should have before I started playing but the list is extensive.

Just waiting for chat to get back to me now

Be careful with Bonuses!
It is  crucial  that you understand and agree to the terms and conditions of any bonus that you accept. Most of the complaints that come through our arbitration service are bonus related; it would be safe to say that there are tens of thousands of players who have never complained because they realized after the fact that they did not understand or had never read the terms. Nothing in a casino is free – so whenever you see “free” being used, there are stipulations. It is important for you to understand that.

Please check out our Bonus Section that lists the offers given by our Accredited Casinos. No deposit bonuses, welcome bonuses (AKA sign up bonuses [SUBs]), exclusive bonuses, reload bonuses, free spin bonuses...all this and more!
That's annoying, an easy trap we've all fallen into, casinos changing Terms after you've joined. I do believe they treat Victorious like Jack Hammer etc. and consider the low variance and high RTP to give the bonus taker too much of an edge. People may find it odd, but a 1.5% can give a huge advantage to the player.

£100D+100%B WR = 20xD+B = £4000 WR

@96% RTP you would bust on average with £40 left = £60 loss on your £100 deposit. = EV-

@97.5% RTP you would bust on average with £100 left = deposit returned plus any loyalty you've earned = EV dead.

Of course the 97.5% example means that for the casino 50% of players would likely cash-out a profit.

spoke to chat who said that any winnings from victorious would just go into my bonus balance, I noticed my wagering had not decreased for the time I was on the slot

Games are being added all the time everywhere, it's going to get to the point where no games are left that aren't excluded!

These constant terms updates are sneaky, as they know players will go on what they assumed was correct from before and nothing's really changed :eek2:

Bonuses are now somewhat of a farce, and of course if a couple start with the extended excluded list, others will predictably follow.......until bonuses become redundant altogether.

Coupled with the 95% RTP on most new slot releases of course :mad:

Are the games excluded? OR do not count, Another loop hole for casino to bend the rules, game % = 0, Ok they do not count but also do not state not aloud to play until you hit the withdraw,

I seen that you got away with it but another sneaky thing casino do, agree to updated terms, Just hang on but what terms, They do not state just agree to them, I have not got the time to read the bloddy rules every time I log in to a site, I play to relax abit and enjoy (treat my self) Not to bloody route around updated terms when infact all the term most likely is that they added 2 games to the list,

But there not going to tell you that

Only slightly related (and a chance to moan about it again) but this is what happened to me at 888/Cassava.

Change / update in T&C's - No log in message, no email, no SMS, nothing totally not informed of these changes.

Play style, game selection, bet size etc etc remained unchanged, all previous withdrawals paid yet they voided over £400 of my dosh.

Thankfully the one and only time this has happened (touch wood!) but a dirty tactic IMO.

BGO are far more reputable IMO and making good efforts in general and on here to establish a good name for themselves so would accommodate or at least compromise.

I detest this side of the industry. Exclude all the games you want, but let the player choose whether or not that comes off the wagering requirements.

I may just want to double my bankroll and play an 'excluded' game because it is one of the only ones I play, or maybe I don't want my slot play to be shoehorned into playing stuff like Go Bananas because the casino is scared I might send them into liquidation. Don't think my £20 deposit is going to do that, you can rest easy.

Also, this constant stream of updated terms is a joke now, it's almost every third time I log on. I think casinos should be held accountable in some form, and if slots are supposedly 'set in stone' then I don't see why T&Cs can't be, or at least for a year at a time.

Bonus abusers will always be that, and are unlikey to change their patterns. This should make them easy to spot you'd think, instead of demonizing the small players at every turn.

Busted out so no worries now, Looking at the list of excluded games though I could have been stung by a few of them, dont think I will play there anymore too many restrictions.

Even wishmaster is on the excluded list ............why

Banned from bonus play at a lot of places.

Reason is due to the ability to save the feature until another time.

Say a Bonus abuser (none of us) deposits and takes the maximum SUB, plays WM at a decent / high bet until a good combination of 'Tea Towels' is set up.

Zero out on another game or clear WR on another game, return to Wish Master with a good set up on Cash only bets with no WR.

Ahh yes, Wishmaster. It's brought down many casinos with it's deviously generous payouts!

Wonder if the day will ever come when as we walk into land based casinos they're handing out bits of paper with updated T&C's on or 'Can everyone stop betting for a while, We need a customer meeting'

I wait for the day when they wont need T&C.
For example, if there's a max bet restriction while on a bonus, the casino should just lock all the slots to whatever that max bet is.
Or, if they want to restrict certain games while players are using a bonus, they should just make it so those games cannot be played.

They need to "baby proof" online casinos. In my opinion, this would be an easy thing to do, especially with online casinos which only require programming.
I doubt the online casinos will come willingly because as it stands, players breaking T&Cs are to the casino's advantage.

Won't be long before they'll have an excluded list declaration that punters have to sign before entering.

"Sorry sir, as your income is below 50,000 p/a, you have breached our T&Cs by playing Gold Spinner 2000. As a result, all your winnings on Blackjack have now been confiscated"

I think casino room has it right, Ok there is not the biggest selection of games for bonus use, You can play other games with cash balance but does not count towards wager, They have a tab with the bonus games, Yes wager is a slight higher than most, But saying that it really isnt that much difference if any, And they do give good bonus when they do give, Not stingey on that side, Take this weekend offer, 100 free spins on motor head for a 10 deposit, Be careful as ewallets may bot be in use for bonus

Well said :notworthy I have often felt extra nervy in case of ever making an honest mistake like excluded game or accidental max bet spin and be accused/banned/labelled as a bonus abuser. Also-excluded games is fine but make it more easy to read/remember-or just program them not to work as has also been mentioned-they can put little thumbnails on games for 'Hot' and 'New' etc why no adding a 'BR' like bonus restricted or something. Even when listed in T&Cs at some sites, to me they are not always instantly easy to read (listed in difficult format or hard to find/easily navigate to terms page etc)

And then the entire promotional cause is not worth it-to me or the casino reallly in the long run as usually my enjoyment is totally lost and once the balance runs out laters! Or I just can't be bothered with the WR in the end and am unhappy with the site all together and unlikely to deposit/go back.

I just don't get it, I have only been playing for about a year but so many of the better freebies/WR/cash prizes etc just aren't around anymore-everything has a finicky set of rules to go with it that it I start to feel alienated or uninspired--ignoring/not recognising the small (but potentially loyal) players such as myself-I might only deposit that initial $20 but depending on that gameplay/membership perks in that beginning period, then next thing another $20 haha. Like, my deposits might only be small but I might potentially be worth 20 of those a day to them if they manage to reel me in haha.

Just going through a few issues on another site which were resolved in the end which was fab but I asked for a small reward if possible as I had no deposit allowed after errors made my settings muck up blah blah long story, but i was told nothing today since I had too much luck lately with 300 out and only 100 in. However, I was locked from paying any more in than that-through no fault of my own and my deep history would reflect differently really in the long run but as you put it goatwack, hardly a chance of causing a liquidation surely...A $200 win for a long term VIP member wouldn't have struck me as big deal-or am I just not that in tune?? It's a win no matter so yay but chump change to some haha or especially when you see some other people's screenshots wins lol

Exactly like you said, it's just chump change to casinos at the end of the day. We're not the kind of players that will have casinos cowering, yet it's far easier to pre-emptively penalize everyone regardless!

As they seem so frightened, how about putting in place a max cashout rule of say £500 for certain players, with bets capped at 60p per spin, but allowing all games. Where's the problem??
