Here are the slots that have made it through to the Round of 16.
I'll give some brief comments about each tie, but I think it makes sense to hold off on posting the exact round by round scoring for the time being.
A thorough breakdown of stats etc for each round will be posted after the final is decided.
In no particular order.
Bruce Lee. Bruce emerges triumphant after a comfortable win.
Secret of the Stones. SOTS came back strongly from a sluggish start. Never underestimate the power of the ancients.
Immortal Romance. The vampires descended on Ladies Night. An easy win, and that's no fantasy.
The Dark Knight. The Joker gets the last laugh as TDK kicks Loose Caboose straight out of Gotham.
Great Blue. Considering the season, Santa's Wild Ride fought well, but Great Blue powered away eventually.
Break the Bank Again. A good win for the classic nine liner over stablemate Georgie Porgie.
Raging Rhino. Overturning Thunderstruck 1 the tenth seed in one of the bigger shocks, the Rhino surges onwards.
Fish Party. After finishing in a dead heat with the gallant Gonzo's Quest, the seeding rule sent Fish Party through.
Dead or Alive. The darling of the screenshots forum, DOA's progress was dead on target and its prospects are very much alive..
League of Fortune. Bierhaus fought hard and this one could have gone either way for much of the contest.
Creature from the Black Lagoon. The creature showed no chivalry toward Lady Lucky Charm, sending her home on the first bus
Terminator 2. Arnie was right. He'll be back, after knocking out the seeded Book of Ra in a tough tussle.
300 Shields. The biggest shock of the second round, 300 Shields made a strong start and finish to overturn Starburst after a nip and tuck campaign
Thunderstruck 2. There was no danger of TS2 sharing the fate of its older brother. A comfortable win.
Ruby Slippers. A very strong performance puts this popular slot into the next round. Marilyn had no answers.
Playboy. Hef loves the ladies, but Playboy dealt harshly with the respected Cleopatra. An unexpectedly easy win.
The draw for the round of 16 will be made over the weekend (with the help of some well established forum members) and the ties will be posted first thing on Monday.
