FTR this is an allegation about the stake affiliate programme paying an affiliate 500k for a player, subsequently allegedly detagged, who would have supposedly earned 6m for the affiliate by now.

I've heard about this too, and the story is likely about a Russian streamer who referred Gellemar, a known casino owner and streamer, to Stake to play under his aff account. As it looks, it ended with the referrer getting only USD 500K instead of 6mil.
