Hi.

I was just wondering if anyone had any issues with using the space bar to spin the reels...i was playing darknight rises and used the space bar and it spins at the bet i had chosen. I then change games to Thunderstruck2 and select my bet and boom starts spinning 15$

I questioned the casino and they first said all games defaulted to max when space bar pressed. I then explained what happened and they said newer games you can use the spacebar at whatever bet you want and it wont change.

Thanks

If as you described is true, they can pull your game logs which should show you don't normally play max.
If this is an accredited casino, try contacting the rep here first.
It would help if you could produce the chat log as well. (you do save those right?).

I didnt save it. They are accredited and i mentioned i never play 15$ bets. I was told a pit boss would be looking into it.

I feel your pain. Has happened to me when the screensaver activated and I hit the spacebar to start the screen back up. Was playing BDBA at time

This has been a fact for many, many years.

Many software providers only link the space bar to spin (not spin max bet) so it's sometimes easy to forget if going from 1 type of software to MG slots. I doubt MG did that intentionally but on the newer slots (FROL, Playboy, dark knight rises and so on) they have a new coin system so you can do normal spins by pressing space. You can tell which MG slots allow space to spin normally.

On the older MG slots though the space bar works just as if you were clicking the max bet button, it sets the bet to max and spins.

I doubt much can be done, casino's will say they only lease the software and don't design it. MG wont do anything.

As nifty would say, it's harsh but the only thing to do is move on from it and had that accidental max bet been a winner, you wouldn't say to the casino "I pressed max by mistake but won... Here's your money back"

Tis is why I've copped it on the chin when I've done it many times before. Old habits die hard ... and expensively at times ... tho :D:D
