Pardon me while I b*tch and whine just a moment.

I haven't gambled since NEteller locked us out. Well... I finally decided I'd find a way to get some money from here to 'there', and play a bit. Pfffttt.... While I understand that I will and 'should' lose in the long term, that does not mean that I should go through each meager deposit in only 5 minutes, rarely, if ever getting a hit to take me above my starting balance.

I gamble for entertainment. This is not fun. Deposits last only minutes. Literally. It's a pain in the posterior to even get money to the casinos. Heaven only knows how much 'fun' I'd have trying to get money out (should lightning strike, the planets align, and Elvis re-enter the building).....

This sucks, sucks big time. When this bit of gambling money is gone, I'm going cold turkey again.

****Now back to your regular progamming*****

Well I assumed you were among those who should have known by now............

 You're right. I should have known. I miss playing online, and gave it one last shot.... I did 'know'. I guess I had to prove it to myself.

Mousey, you are braver than I am...to go through all that to deposit. Lord knows I have thought about it. But I may have an alternative for you. I am having a blast playing the MG free tournaments. Not so much for the money, but just to get in there on the real money side for a change. Hey and if I do win a few bucks I will like to challenge of trying to make more out of it. But if not it doesn't matter. Anyway, try it you may like it. I have my kitchen timer set so I never miss one.

Yep, the great thing about these tourneys is that:

1/ You get to play your fav MG games for real money rewards at no cost

2/ More importantly, it's over in 5 minutes so it doesnt really sacrifice your time as in poker freerolls which may take several hours.

Yes, and if you want to spend a bit more time, try the free tourneys at 3Dice - I think they take american players don't they? I just won $10 in a tourney there (although $10 doesn't last long at 3Dice) it was still something.

My last few deposits have gone up in smoke without even a hint of a win, so I know how you feel. And I don't even live in the US!

I agree 100%..I get my "Thunderstruck" fix from playing the free tourneys!!!!:D

Thanks all for your sympathy and suggestions.

I have indeed tried the free tourneys. However, repeatedly finishing 393rd and below in the MG tourneys is discouraging at best -- and masochistic at worst. I've never tried rebuying ... I mean... that's not 'free' is it? :D

I'll have another go at the 3Dice tourneys one weekend. I do enjoy their software, and they give you more than 5 minutes to play.

Good luck to all. ;)

Rather than start a new thread... The time has come to hang up my gambling hat again ... for awhile at least. I deposited the last $25 from my QT this morning to INetBet. (Thanks to INetBet for letting me play almost an hour before going into sluuuurp mode.) I have money on my brand new NetSpend card, but, right now, I think I'm going to use it for something other than gambling.

I've rolled as low as can be done this last couple of months. I've only managed 2 small cash outs and paid a premium price to move some of it out of QT. I'm sick of the fees and aggravation of trying to deposit. Hell, we're behind before we even get our money into the casino!

I'm sick of feeling that 'something's not right' with the games. I've played online over ... what?... 6 years? and I just don't like the way the games 'feel' these days. Am I delusional? Maybe. A sore loser? Only a little. Paranoid? Most definitely. :D And thanks to the AP mess for making me even more so.

I'm not going away. I love it here, and I want to see what's up in the industry. I'm just holding on to my money for a little while. ;)

i like the netspend card mousey and i have you and winbig to thank for turning me on to it. its so nice to be able to go into a few cash advance stores here and they only charge 2.00 thats a hell of alot better than those western union fees i was paying. i havent found one casino that allows u.s players that has turned it down.....knock on wood... i have been able to enjoy the games at 3- dice and inetbet and some of the rival and m/g casinos.so thank you and winbig again if i didnt have my lil trusty card i would be s.o.l........................laurie:)

Hey Mousey! Damn Straight!!! I couldn't agree with you more. Pisses me off to no end when you make a deposit and they suck it out of you in 5 mins. Iv'e done $40 in less then 3 mins. not long ago. I sent an email and complained and they gave me credits but it really doesn't make much of a difference if it goes just as quickly, does it? And another thing I will agree on, these games have been acting really strange, it doesn't jive with me when I'm on a roll with a slot, kicking butt and then the reels all of a sudden start spinning and go on for about a minute. Or, all of sudden the reels slow right down and when you see the reel is going to stop on a win, it moves? I am also feeling like packing it in. And yes, it's not always about the win, the time you get for your credits is also really important. God, it's not like I'm going to cash out every time I reach $100 (although I should) I think of it like this, "Geez, let me win once in a while, your gonna get it back from me anyway!" I have been thinking about this for a while and have been wondering how we go about getting some more info about this? Would we go to playcheck or ecogra and ask if they could check a casinos reels and see if this is legit? I know for a fact that when the reels speed up like that, it is NOT my internet connection, however, I do know that an internet connection can cause some disturbance, but not like I have been experiencing. I know you cant yell "rigged!" but I would like to know what causes these games to do this. Anyone know how we could check this out?

I would start with the casino reps here for the various brands and would expect to receive the stock reply "our games are audited by blah blah blah and certified to be fair blah blah blah.........

Of course none of this changes the fact that the casinos are the only ones making money! I know, I know.......that's the way it's always been.....but I would still like to get a little smooch along with the giant poke!:D

Yes, I have sent so many emails regarding this. A couple said it was my connection, another said it sounded corrupted and that I should reinstall. And another said "although the reels are spinning for a longer amount of time and not stopping when they are supposed to, this does not affect the outcome" How can that be? And why, when the third (or last reel depending on the game) is going to stop on a win, or a bonus trigger, all of a sudden just moves? This isn't fair to us players. I dont know how many times I "almost" had something big and then the damn thing moves!

p.s. Maybe a rep can come here to explain..?

I'm no high roller by any stretch, but my few pennies usually go a long way at the Rival casinos. There are times when it goes up in smoke, but more often than not, a $25 deposit goes a while for me (I alway start off with the lowest bet first).

I also always take their deposit bonus for more play time & $$-and the wr are pretty easy to meet. Just my .02 :)

The answer to the first question is that when you hit spin, the wheel start spinning and your computer send a request to the server. Normally, the server receives this request and sends back the result of the spin, your computer then spins the reels for a few seconds and then you see the result. Sometimes the tubes that make up the internet are congested and the data packets get lost, in this case the reels keep spinning.

Exactly....and in laymans terms, as soon as you hit spin and the casino's server realizes this, the result is determined in about .000001 of a second. The reels are just there for eye candy.
