What kind of bonuses should i go for in an Online Casino?

Should I go for the ones that offer 100% match bonuses on your first deposit but take you forever to cash out because the Wagering Requirement is really high?

Or should I go for the 20-30% ones that I could cash out reasonable quickly, say an MWR of around x15 or x20?

I'm new to this online gambling thing and as all the online casino's out there are really spamming their bonuses everywhere, i really want to know what bonuses are safe and what are popular, what people want, and what i should want.

Since a lot of people say casinomeister is the best internet casino watchdog, i thought i'd ask you guys.

There are two types of bonuses... those you can withdraw, and those you can't. On bonuses you can withdraw, it doesn't matter what percentage bonus you go for because you'll find most of them have a WR of 15x or higher. The smaller your deposit, the smaller the bonus and the less you have to wager before cashing out. Same applies on a bonus you can't withdraw, but your WR is usually much less... Often as low as 4x. There are also a few non-withdrawable bonuses out there with WR of 20x you have to watch out for. I generally only play a bonus of 100% match or better... If it involves more of my money than theirs, it isn't worth it to me.

Bonuses - my favourite subject! ;)
I agree with Bruce. I don't touch anything if it's under 75%, WR over x25, or not fully withdrawable.
Please be VERY VERY careful & make sure you read ALL the T&C's before depositing anywhere!

Remember: if a bonus offer sounds too good to be true - it probably is! :(

If you're new to online gambling, I recommend you avoid all sticky and phantom bonuses. Some players do well with these, but you have to really know your stuff to make them work (I don't!).
I also recommend you avoid ALL RTG & Playtech casinos unless they are on Casinomeister's accredited list (a great source of reliable & fair places! ).
Good luck!

While I agree that being CM accredited makes your chances of not being paid very slim, it doesn't mean casinos not on the list are not trustworthy. I can personally vouch for the integrity of

, despite their being on Bryan's evil page for stupid advertising. I cashed out, sent my documents, and was paid within a couple days. I would gladly redeposit there anytime.

I agree

I too have gotten paid by golden palace without a smidge of a problem, but I like Casinomeister do not approve of their ad practices to get noticed so I quit playing there.

I supppose you are forgetting they stole tens of thousands in winnings from players a few years ago? They even gave me $30 free during this mess (some birthday bonus I think) which I turned into over $200 which they never sent me despite promising to in emails.

All I care about is do they pay out and my personal experience there says they do.

I wasn't gambling online a few years ago, so I know nothing about it.

My very first on line gaming experience about 18 months ago was with Golden Palace (just because that was the only on line casino I had ever heard of). I had an amazing rookie run playing Blackjack, and made $10K off a $200 deposit. They made me jump through a few hoops. First they never told me about sending documentation (a common issue for rookies I have since learned). Then, after I called about a week later to check on my cashout, and they told me about sending the documentation, I had to send it several times because they said they never got it. As I recall it took almost 4 weeks, but I got paid. I was a tad nervous, but I was a first time player and didn't really know how long it was supposed to take to get a $10k payout. Knowing what I know now, I would have raised some hell long before a month went by.

Sounds about right for the amount you won... Calculating the time for sending documents plus the maximum payout of $4000/wk, you're talking three weeks minimum.

Very well explained. Made things easy to understand!! Thanks!! I came across a bonus last week I found pretty good... 200% first deposit on Giant Vegas..I thought this bonus was generous but which casinos offer better?
