After reading about SlotPower Rival casino, I decided to give it a try. I tried a few deposits and ended up with the same results each and every time. A ton of dead spins before, and during the bonus play. How can a casino claim to be fair with these kinds of sessions?? I mean, it is not an isolated case. It happens more often than not. (see sucky screenshots for additional shots)

I am still in disbelief over my sessions at this Rival casino and have uninstalled them. I really am amazed that they would ever be considered for accreditation. Casinos should NEVER be allowed to give dead spins for the entire bonus rounds and it seems Rival has been the guiltiest of this.

Think about it. It costs you a lot money to hit the spins for the bonus round, then to recveive 15, yes FIFTEEN dead spins is unheard of at any landbased casino. But these casinos feel it is their right to offer this to a player after taking your money while trying to reach this bonus. AMAZING!

Maybe it is sour grapes, maybe it is disgust, but whatever it is..I know I will not allow them to make me feel so abused and taken advantage of again.

I did bust out after that but I guess it was a learning lesson. One taken to heart, and one to share with others that might be thinking of playing at these casinos.

Honestly, this has basically been my experience with all the Rival casinos.

How is slot looseness determined? Is this up to each casino, or is it a function of the software or what?

Hey Silc,

I dont have any grudge against Rival for the occasional dead set of bonus spins but it is occuring more frequently based on my recent play. Rather, I dislike the fact that when I hit 3 scatters on more during free spins they dont pay anything and then the retriggered spins pay nought. This is worse than getting 2 scatters which at least pays back your bet x multiplier.

If you have played Metal Detector you will find that if you get 3 Metal Dudes, they pay either 12x, 13x or 17x your bet whereas if you get 4 metal dudes you get 12x, 14x or 16x of your bet. Imagine 4 scatters paying less than 3 scatters. I am not sure whether the overall payout has changed but I believe it is definitely true that the variance has been increased. It is common to see 200-300 spins without a feature. If they were RTG slots, it would be normal but Rival slots usually churn out features within 70-80 spins which dont pay out too much.

I played at Slot Power the other day and was totally frustrated, too. I love playing Jaques Pot but not one free spin. It sucked so bad.

I felt like Slot Power was doing this to me -------> after I zero'd out.

That was my other beef with this casino group. To hit 5 scatters (which I have a few times) and only get....what? NOTHING for it then to get NOTHING for the bonus is a little too much in my book.

Yes, certain Rivals are a definite stay away from kind of casinos. Why allow them to take control of one's bankroll and feel raped...not for me on my watch anymore.

Slot Power

I have had some experiences with slot power.

My experience with Rival is you hit nothing or you hit big. When you hit nothing it sucks big time.

I have not played with them very long yet but I have had very good hits and some nice cashouts (which unfortunately take forever). I posted some in the screenshots section.

Because I am from the netherlands, the free chips and some deposit bonuses have a whopping 50 times playthrough (deposit + bonus). I asked and received a deposit bonus today and they offered me a 50 times playthrough 100 max. So if I deposit 100$, I will have a 50 times 100 deposit + 100 bonus playthrough which is a total of 10,000$ playthrough!!!!

The last few days I hit close to nothing. I have played many slots but mostly the scary rich, gourmet and pigskin slots. They can be your best friend or your worst enemy. That's just the way it goes sometimes. Last night I lost 6 deposits in under one hour, the night before that I hit nicely after a only a few spins.

It all comes down to luck, when you are unlucky playing slots at Rival they take your money at lightening speed. And that sucks and can be disgusting.

But that can happen at any casino when playing slots. I was playing centre court and avalon at microgaming yesterday and if these slots are totally dead the experience is the same. The worst in my opinion is still RTG and I have no account with any RTG casino anymore.

I really hope your luck changes!

What? No offense but where else do you get ZILCH for scatters AND bonuses combined MULTIPLE times?

Scatters have always paid something at MOST casinos...except for Rival casinos...it seems they are going in for the kill with some of these new releases IMO....

Yes, you can hit big...but you have to wait for MANY to lose HUGE before this happens to ONE lucky person....RTG's are tight , but at least they give you a fair shake with the scatters in their games...Same with MG casinos..you get paid for them and when you hit nothing, at least you still got something..even if it is a pittance of what it cost to get to the bonus round..unlike Rival, you get nothing with nothing...PpPpphhHHhtTtt....

Ahh well...

It shouldn't really matter what format is used to pay out winnings to players during a Slot session - the only thing that really matters is House Advantage, i.e. how much the machine is programmed to eat up for the House on your turnover.

Even casinos that publish Payout %'s don't release this type of information. And the way I see it, Payout %'s are useless anyway because they include a whole lot of play from Bonus $.

I won't be playing any games in the future much unless the casino advertises House Advantage or allows me to access that information somehow. Otherwise, for all I know, the machine could be programmed to be eating up $50 every time I spin $100. I could start with $1000, and in 20 spins of $100, my balance will be at $0 running with neutral luck.
