Slot Spin Strategy

I'm not a mathematician or a big wagerer but want to get the forums view on my spin strategy. My 3 biggest cashes have come within the 1st five spins on 3 different slots at my go to $.75 a spin. £5000 (Chili ???), £3700 (What the Fox) and £840 (Book of the Dead) . That's over about 3 years. Yes, I grind slots, my limit is a maximum 100 spins and yes I do vary the amount upward as I get more frustrated. I rarely turn a profit at grinding but I have regularly won back my wagers when I win a bonus which feels like about 30% of the time. My grinding strategy is not so much the bonus but watching the spins to see if I'm getting any returns at all. If I'm getting any return around 50% of my wager I'll keep grinding. If not I'll let it go and probably never play that slot again. I've learned that emotion has no place when my 2 angry options are more spins and a bigger wager. A loser slot is just that, a loser whether it is RTP or my bet strategy being wrong.

Another "strategy" I use is more gut than science but with so many slots to choose from why keep playing a sub paying slot. I follow the strategy of 100 spins on 10 slots is better than 100 spins on 1 slot. I also try to stay away from the slot providers slogans such as, "Must Win" "Hot" "Top Pick". To me it's no different than "New and Improved" splashed on my box of corn flakes.

I also stay away from slots that have the Max Bet button close and similar to the Bet button. More than once I've ended up betting £25 on a single spin when I wanted to bet $1.00. These are not programming errors in my mind. They are deliberate attempts to fleece the user. It's not that I would make the Max Bet mistake again but if the developers is willing to play that game can I really trust his RTP numbers. Bad graphics, no real theme, rip offs of classics are all no-go slots for me.

Some slots do provide value for money regardless of winning or not, such as God of Storms and Megaways like Return of Kong or oldies like Jack and the Beanstalk. With me its not the win on these slots but the play ability and graphics that entertain. I was a big fan of Jack Pot King till about 3 months ago when some punter won 7 Million pounds on a $.80 bet. Even I know to leave that franchise alone for a while.

I'm lucky to have access to legitimate slot providers. I cringe in sympathy with what some posters have to go through to get payouts and get an answer from support. No gambling site should be able to get away with this despicable behavior. The 'house' is always going to win so why be greedy and punish the gambler more.

That's my rant. Enjoy your spins, win big and stay lucky.

One thing to keep in mind is to avoid bonus play when implementing ANY strategy. The way bonuses are written nowadays, they will void most winnings when upping or lowering bets.

I used to have a strategy that included kamikaze spins once I made it to a certain point. I would either make a serious killing or it was sayonara. :p

A reply from the Meister himself. I am humbled. When I slowed down on my poker play and started playing slots on a regular basis I knew I needed to find a forum that supported slot play. It didn't take long to find Casinomeister. Having a forum of like minded players and a place to visit off the bet button has been a real god send of support and information. Thank you for all the work you do.

Best strategy for me last 40+ days is to not play slots at all. I'v done 3 bets in this 40+ days on EURO 2020, won on France vs Switzerland, won because i asked early payout on 3:1, good no AI real math strategy?

Self excluded is best strategy sometimes, belive me!

Bunbu,

By far the smartest betting strategy I've seen. I do that quite a bit actually, jump in and jump right back out again if it doesn't feel right. 'Feel' is 90% of slot play as there is no real math or logic to follow.

Nothing is guaranteed other than to either 1) not play or 2) quit once you reach an amount lost or amount won

I don't think there is such a thing as a strategy when it comes to slots. Over time it is made to drain whatever amount you are playing with.

Quit while you are ahead and don't lose any more than you are willing to lose. Sometimes lady luck will come out.

If i'm playing with a bonus I try and keep to a small amount and limit the number of spins in a game before i move on to a different game...sometimes that works and sometimes it doesn't.....but when I think about it when it works it has nothing to do with having a good strategy....all has to do with luck....
