Slot operator VS casino - who is paying the winnings?

Hi,

I have always wondered WHO exactly is paying the winnings on slots.
Let us say I get a 5000x win on a slot. Is it the casino that pay the winnings out of there pockets, or is it the slot providor? Both?

Same goes as losses. Let us say I lose €200 on a slot. How is the money split?

Unless it’s a progressive jackpot, the casino pays out the winnings.

As for the second question, the casinos pay a small percentage to the slot providers.
