toward paying out to their customers, or toward the customers that pay ("i'm a paying customer")? ambiguous terms, gary! tsk tsk

Funnily enough, I was reading some terms today. Unadvertized, but new crushing terms. Pretty laughable really. It was with a site I dont really want to ramble on about again.

These terms are not legal, they would never be sanctioned in a court of law. I feel we are relying on gaming commissions who have vested interests in these sites and the industry.

I have a close family member who is in the position to challenge such terms on an international scale. He also has a vested interest in doing so.

Since the US bans, Have you noticed any changed in attitude towards paying customers?
I'm with Happy - I don't understand the question. (The incorrect grammar doesn't help).

Please could you re-phrase it to convey more clearly what it is exactly you are asking?
Thanks.

I thought my speed reading had once again betrayed me and any comprehension skills that remain(no offense to the OP but I read at least 3 times and then I just started singing "Hello Walls").........I'm with HGB also for now.

? I thought it was pretty darn obvious. I ignored what he said (ok i didn't even see it!) and just went on the title

Is that clear or clear?

And he obviously isn't addressing the mothers union coz they wouldnt be the affected parties!

Since the US bans, Have you noticed any change(d) in attitude towards paying customers?

A linguistics professor was lecturing to his class one day. "In English," he
said, "A double negative forms a positive. In some languages, though, such
as Russian, a double negative is still a negative. However, there is no language wherein a double positive can form a negative."

A voice from the back of the room piped up, "Yeah, right."

erm.... uve confused me now Nash! Obviously I saw the title, I didn't see the somewhat confusing "message" that was there!

Oh well I'm off to pop some pills.... :drink:

Definitely a change in attitude toward U.S. customers. Some casinos will blatantly steal winnings and close accounts of U.S. customers without any fear of repercussions today. These days more than ever, an American player has to base his choice of casinos on more than just the software brand that he prefers and trusts. There was a time not long ago when it was pretty much agreed upon throughout the gambling community that any Microgaming casino was a safe bet. Some were quicker than others.. but everyone eventually paid. This is no longer the case as even some of MG's holders have gone to the dogs.

I think Americans went from the MOST desired and well treated customers to the bottom of the heap in the last year or so!

AMEN.

If a casino accepts US customers they are more than happy to take my money. They aren't too happy about paying me when I win or so it seems. The only way I can get paid now is by check which takes forever.

So have things changed for me since the US ban. YES! The casinos if they are willing to take my money should be using ACH only to US customers and checks only when the customer doesn't have a checking or savings account. I don't care what it costs the casino if they want my money they should be willing to spend a few bucks to accommodate me.

well..... nothing has changed in the UK really, still as good as ever (or bad, depending on where you go!).

It's crazy cus in the US you have Vegas and massive casinos, yet they effectively shutdown the online stuff.

In the UK they keep knocking back "super casinos" and downsizing existing B&M ones, yet they're more than happy with the online stuff!

it's a crazy world.

(Tho to be fair, the US makes more sense, as in a B&M you have to have the mindset and make the effort to go out and lose money. In the uk you just sit at your comp and it goes down a hole, or you can just get drunk and not remember what u did on ur comp. So the US is protecting it's citizens in this way. Also after what i've heard about peoples lives being ruined by gambling it might overall be a better thing.

Tho I'm happy we're ok in the UK for now, and I'm happy i keep going slowly up! And presumeably if ur that desperate to gamble you would go out and find a b&m casino anyway, so maybe it doesnt make such a difference ? )

Nope, gamblers are going to gamblers drinkers are going to drink ~ easy to do, hard to do, legal, illegal. At least over there you have some consistency in the laws, I think. here you can buy lotto tickets with a 40-60% HE, or go to the horse or dog races, or even gamble on base if you are a serviceman... and of course the B&M's, but you have to futs around and play covert to gamble online. heck, I wouldn't mind if they made a solution like 'gambling rations' it would be a crime to gamble more than 10% of your net income or 50% of your disposable income... okay, i would mind :D

I guess we're very fortunate in the States that there are still a few good online casinos that treat us right:thumbsup:

Im getting older by the minute...............
could you please mention me one of THOSE........I cant recall
Unless they do give you a "special" "dirthy" treatment which will make em "unforgetable":D:D:D

The ban in the US is simply for monetary gain to a certain few. Why do you think they went after Neteller? They want a piece of the pie or maybe I should say the whole damn pie.

Just as Iraq is bleeding our coffers dry they must look for other areas for their insatiable greediness.

Here in a couple of weeks I'll post some reviews in america the beautiful... casino name, deposit method, withdrawal time, grade customer service, etc. I don't want to do it 'seat of my pants' so I'm going to document the good, bad, and ugly... but I have to have cashouts to include them:thumbsup:
