This has been discussed several times before on the forum, I'm sure.
Basically, I think any of them can pay equally big - I had 2 HUGE wins over bet x600 last Christmas Day from Expanding & Stacked wilds.
Personally I think Trailing Wilds should be the worst option: they only "stick" for 1 spin if they land on the centre row, 2 spins if on the top row and not at all on the bottom row. Having said that IF you get lucky and get 2 or 3 in the top 2 rows in a single spin it could pay very well. I've seen some big wins in Winner Screenshots from this one.
I always go with stacked wilds. I'd like to think it is the most "clean" option; the wilds either land or they don't. You never feel cheated by wilds landing pointlessly on reels 3 to 5 and giving you nothing.
Truth is it really doesn't matter in the long run. But stacked wilds is definitely the least frustrating.
I always pick expanding wilds, gives the most potential to win big. Had a few 60k hits on freerolls (400x) but of course whatever you pick it will usually be less than 10x bet total.
