You have to laugh.

I said I had been dodging bullets at this place(Rushmore) when I had my crazy win streak, enter the dreaded RTG update.

Here are some of my unfortunate results since the update.

Below 70% RTP over several deposits and thousands of spins.

Frequency of Features around 50% of what it was.

Not One retrigger on any free spins, not One!

Vikings voyage not even giving Respins and no extra fee spins

Approx 1000 spins Achilles without triggering the Achilles feature.

Aladin feature not awarding free spins only crappy X2 prizes

Penguin power awarding min 5 free spins each time.

The list goes on.

I had a great time on the win streak but now I have to endure endless dross for that pleasure?

Good CS and fast payout for me means I will try them again sometime, after all I did have good sessions before.

But what was that update for anyway?

I guess I will wait for the next One before depositing again, just far too many coincidences and extremely unlikely stats to put down to coincidence.

Hey, maybe if you were being spanked by them before the update it might be your turn now?

I'm beginning to wonder if RTG casinos even have to get approval before they adjust payout percentages....and even if they did, it appears that RTG allows drastic reductions no matter what.

Casino: We're getting our ass kicked, we need to lower our payout % to 80%.
RTG: Sure, go for it. [no questions asked]

I'm sure it's quite easy for them too. All they'd need to do is add more T-A (or lowest paying symbols) as well as scatters to the first 2 reels, and decrease the number of scatters on the rest of the reels so odds are when you do have a line win, most of the time it's for the lowest amt possible.

Certainly over so many spins with such consistent results that differ so dramatically (great then awful) I have to assume that I am not playing the same games with the same RTP in both cases.

I am also certain that the minimum RTP that is quoted for RTG of 93% is way off the mark.
I agree that individual Casinos can alter the payouts independently and often do, there is simply no other logical explanation for such conflicting results.

I am not going to bash Rushmore though because at least the payout was good their One time which is more than I can say for some RTG that seem to have their payout set to well below 80% most of the time.

Hopefully they will be back to more expected levels soon.
As I say they seem to be Red hot or ice cold with no in-between.

I'd certainly like to know this as well. For instance, one day at CW there were several different updates that were downloaded & installed throughout the day, without any change to anything that I could see, while other RTG's didn't have any updates that day. Very weird.
