Skill on net are the first (and unlikely to be the only) to reduce play n go to just 91%.

Is this the death of Slots in the UK?

UKGC should set a minimum IMO.

The thing is, if UKGC start implementing regulations that favor players rather than casinos, they risk casinos pulling out of the UK, and that sweet sweet money goes away never to come back.
We have the same thing here in Sweden.
The Swedish license was not created to make it safer & better for the people playing, it was created to get a slice of the money that otherwise just went out of the country.

Atleast thats how i see it.
I mean, they dont even help with complaints vs the casinos they give out licenses to.
They exist to collect license fees and to hand out fines.

Aspire have been running P&G at 91% for quite a while - nothing new.

It always surprises me that the operators big enough to advertise on telly and sponsor events/teams will cut RTP so drastically however.

Seeing as they are in partnership with the UKGC, that seems likely.

That's pretty what countries want when they realized that own regulated market could get country some money from taxes and licenses instead of just all gambling problems. That's how it pretty much was in Sweden before SGA started regulatory 2019 and still is in Finland and many other countries. Don't really see much benefit for player what SGA is doing, of course you can set self-exclusion through Spelpaus but that's only valid for casinos who hold that license.

Then there are casinos who just don't mind of giving bonuses for players who they shouldn't, but SGA been reported quite many of them and they hopefully take some action as some of them do hold SGA license and same time let Swedish players take part of different promotions, hopefully we see shortly on some threads that you Sweds are protected from evil promotions.

You've more or less answered your own question. The whole thing has been ruined by global corporatism, which poisons or destroys everything it touches. You're just a cash cow for the corporates, whose only consideration is brand and maximum profit. Where do you suppose the money comes from for all those lucrative sponsership deals? It's not just casino's either. Nobody has any pride in their product anymore and just sell out to the highest bidder for a fast buck. Screw the consumer.

Yes, things like Gamstop/spelpaus look good on paper, but lets be honest, for people with a 'real' gambling problem i doubt it helps at all.
Maybe 20 years ago it would have been a great thing, but today with vpn:s, cryptocasinos, and the big 'black market' with sites accepting anyone who has money i cant see it helping very much.
Even if i sign up to spelpaus and block all sites with a Swedish license, i can be on a cryptocasino in the next 5 minutes and keep gambling if i want to.

Disgraceful and no autospins coming, who one earth will stay play slots....not me!! and how dumb can a player be not to actually not know about rtp?

That's true but there's always some "Nigerian princess" who is willing to take your money and maybe better to these addicts to force them play in places where withdrawals are non existing, most should stop after few rejected withdrawals without reasons. Spelpaus is IMO quite good and effective, then you only have options to play places you should know are not really trustworthy (if you get excluded on Gamstop, you usually know at least something about gambling and licenses and are aware that Curacao or Costa Rica are not most trusted ones).

There are few bad things what can say about SGA and one is not to allow casinos offer bonuses to players (except first ones), that also make some casinos which people keep very legit, offer rewards for Swedish players which just leads to some "misunderstanding" between casinos and SGA, some casinos still are happy to break that rule and offer different type of rewards to players they shouldn't, but happily some of these most knowns are reported and hopefully get penalized big as UKGC do for casinos who break rules with intention to make money and take bit unfair advantage to their competitors.

Very very true. It’s so depressing. All about squeezing every last bit of profit in the shortest amount of time. It’s pretty much the same across every sector.

It goes hand in hand with the increasingly selfish and individualistic lives people are living. All about them. Money really is a tainting thing that just harbours greed in a lot of people.

Skill-on-net also run those of their MicroGaming slots, which have an adjustable RTP, such as TSII, IR, BDBA etc at 92%

We (the public, that is, not CM members) are the ones enabling this garbage, if money stopped flowing into these nerfed games then they would go back to their former glory very quickly. Sadly, the short-term "advertise to death then fleece 'em" strategy seems to be a profitable one.

How pathetic that I can get a shade better RTP in my local dodgy amusement arcade, plus as much free toast, snacks, coffee and cakes as I can take. And a free £10 cash match with a 2x wagering requirement just for walking in the door.

I stopped playing in any casino once I won large (a month ago), but it wasn't because of that win. Its because the way almost ALL online casinos operate today - i lose all love to gamble online, their way i see as: to scam you over to max.

Yes, I will probably still play in land-based casinos on rare occasions, or I am/will bet.

However, in my opinion, online gambling is a global HUGE scam in this moment.

Consider KYC, SOW (perhaps you might ask about my most recent out-of-marriage sex? ), Bonus terms, changing T&C at 23:59, and the rest of the BS methods...

Wont be too far into the future where slots are below 90% rtp in the Uk. So glad I have quit the UK market. I will go to Land based as its a totally different expereince. But these days with chronic support and a very impersonal expereince its just not enjoyable anymore. And to think we pay casinos for this shit. lol. I know they are still a good few reps here but for the most part its a terrible player expereince these days. And lower n lower rtps is the icing on top of the swamp.

Already happening, as pointed out in another thread, William Hill is offering Gorilla Go Wilder from SG Digital at 87% RTP.

And this is UKGC, not MGA or Curacao who are the ones often called fraudsters.
