Hi,

I usually keep a few cents in my account at CWC to play the daily "penny roller". You can re-buy up to 10 times. (total of 11 times) You start with 6000 chips and 8 minutes.

The one ending in about 40 minutes is "Coyote Cash". I use to love this slot. I tried it twice last night, not getting anything worth a paying spot or anything really.

So, I went back in this morning. Just for the hell of it, I re-bought, over and over, to see how many spins it would take for me to get the feature.

Betting $100.00 a spin for 60 spins in each round gave me a total of 600 spins. (since I have 1 re-buy left)

I did NOT get the feature once, not ONCE! It really surprised me. I know, I know, there are no guarantees that you will get it (at least with this slot), but 600 spins? really?

Between that and the fact that I had so many ZERO spins, I seriously began to wonder if I was indeed connected to the casino, I am finding this rather disturbing.

I have played this slot many, many times........... I don't think I ever remember it being so damn cruel!

Does anyone here play these tournaments?

I don't really play that slot in tournaments, but that is my go-to slot in real play. I have gone 400 to 500 spins without a feature before. I have also gotten the feature with 6 re-triggers that payed 400x bet. just like the other slots, it can be streaky. I can't remember my last feature on count spectacular or pay-dirt.

I do periodically for variety but what I find is that in tourney play I generally get MORE bonus rounds and sweeter payoffs. I too like Coyote Cash and have done well on it. I always thought that the RTP % was set higher on tourney games to entice to with false hope of getting same results for real money. Probably dumb on my part............but I do better in tourneys many time in a game than in real money mode.

Thank you for your comments.

It's not like you can win a ton on the penny roller, but you can get a few more cents to keep in the penny rollers if you are down on available deposit funds.

It really threw me for a loop. Can't say that that has ever happened to me in the past. I mean, sure I have had dry runs, but 600 spins??

Anyone else?

I was thinking the Volatility was very high but looks like it is medium for that game, I only got the feature once

The part I dont understand is...how can anyone just say "I get more bonus rounds/better payouts/etc on tourneys than real play" off the cuff?

The ONLY way you would actually KNOW if this was the case would be to keep a detailed record of both tourney play and real play over a large number of spins.

Anything else is just a total guess, and thus heavily affected by gambler's fallacy and selective memory.

I'm not saying it's true or not. I can't...because I haven't kept nor seen ANY type of data at all.

You are correct. It just "seems" that way to me. I have no records to back it up.

Hmmm,

You can thank your lucky stars this only occurred in a penny tourney. Were it on real play it would have cost you quite a bit. I can honestly say that all RTG slots bar none ca easily go 800 spins without a feature. Coyote is not of high variance but still.
