RTG on a Free Chip

I have recently started to play online slots again, I took a break after a horrible month where I lost 2K on minimum bets.

I don't usually play RTG but I made a deposit with no bonus and had a horrific RTP with no bonus rounds on any slot, it was basically dead.
Then I took a $25 free chip with a max cash-out and I couldn't stop winning, even spinning at $2 I was guaranteed multiple bonuses in every slot I played.

I had $200 wins betting $1-$1.50 on Triple Toucan, Wooden Boy and the new Three Stoogies slot. I've never experienced a run like this on any software and by the time my wagering was complete my balance was around $650.

I cashed out the max $100 and re-deposited $50 with no bonus. To say the whole feel of the software was different is an understatement, I lasted minutes on $0.60 bets and no bonus rounds at all.

Is this just a bit of bad luck at the wrong time or does the software 'loosen up' when there is a cap on what can be withdrawn?

Everybody will tell you no, it makes no difference. Personally, I have never won so much on that software as when there was a cap on winnings.

But it's just a coincidence.

Here's another coincidence!!

I did exactly the same late last week, couldn't go wrong on the free chip and ooo fancy that peaked at $650 too, same as yourself!!

Couldn't write the book!

Trying to prove anything tho would be harder than defying gravity!

I have seen written proof in the past that 'free play' on some Microgaming platforms is 'looser' than 'real' play, the idea apparently to give players a feel of what the slots are capable of on a good day, no reason they couldn't do the same with RTG ??

I rarely play RTG,but it just went from one extreme to another, at a precise time and it didn't feel right at all. I've seen more than a few posts here of Random Jackpots dropping in on a max-cashout bonus which seems suss.

All just a coincidence, maybe!

I have many choices of software to play, guess I'm better sticking to what I know and trust.

You guys need to get out the tinfoil hats :p

Maybe it's just the fact of the matter that you don't notice the times you consistently lose on a free chip? Of course you're going to remember the times you win, because it's not as common. Coincidence, indeed. And if that's not the case, and you believe this, then why not close all RTG accounts you have if you believe it's unfair?

At risk of unrolling my 10m roll of Bacofoil, I found exactly the same. On the 50 chip it was like I was playing games with 110% RTP, soon hit $400. I do, however, put this down to luck rather than anything sinister. For this thread to have any substance there would have to be a facility for a RTG casino to be able to offer the 97% math model for NDB's and say the 93% as standard for depositing players taking bonuses. Then that 4% would be very noticeable and likely produce the results people mention. But we only hear from those whom have WON with the $50 NDB - what about those who didn't?

Okay thought I would chime in.

I have never done well on RTG and haven't played in in years.

But I decided a couple of days ago I would try the same $50 ND and see if my lucks changed since last played it and if it had I might give it another go.

Would you believe me if I said I soon had my balance at over $1000 and every slot I seemed to play was lucky.

If you do sorry but I lied. playing at $0.50 and $0.25 bets I quickly bust out in a matter of minutes. Got a few bonus rounds etc. but definitely never had a run at all. So not everyone done well on the free chip mine played the same way as RTG did years ago. Absolute crap lol.

Also from the casinos perspective. If they are giving a chip out and making it easy to win from it would be a costly mistake. If it came out that the bonus was so easy to win from then it would not take long for the casino to get inundated with new players that had no intention of ever depositing.

Would be very costly so I am afraid I feel its just a coincidence that some people have done really well on the free chip.

This is just gambling you got luck or no ..... But im remember one time situations this was mayby 5-6 years ago in roqe winpalace RTG brand where im colect some probably 200% bonus from deposit 20$ and very fast in 2 h go up to 1000$ in low stake. Next suddenly system logut me and was message about some technical break in system - Live chat say is some small problem from thier sites for everyone and all will be good after 30 minuts.

Im login to casino after 15 minuts system work again - All slots was exteme frozen - im lose all 1000$ with wagered mayby 1300$

Im know in RTG software is possible change RTP% ( roqe casinos often do this) so Im feel something was not ok in this case ....but Like all players says just bad luck .

Sometimes we win sometimes lose . And try find some explain ....

Good answer to this topic is - if you like play in Rtg software casinos just choose good reputations place from Casinomeisters RTG acredited sections.

Obviously, everyone's experience is going to be different, and even if you got a response from every single CM member here, it would still just be a collection of anecdotes.

Having said that, I've actually had better luck playing on straight cash deposits (no bonuses) than I have had with NDB's, free chips, and other match bonuses - on RTG.

I gotta say i have had the very same kinds of play at more than one casino with a $50 or$100 free bonus with a max cash out of $100 to $150 and i think it could be luck or maybe the software is set to allow a certain kind of play when in this kind of bonus play? I have won with a free play bonus and took the $150 but actually only because after many deposits and NO WINS i finally hit with a freebie i took the cash and will not give my hard earned bucks to that place again. RTG i have played and yes it did seem like i could do no wrong but in the end i either did not bother with the small win or lost it all after a fair amount of smiles.
Maybe it is them just showing us what is possible but that may just be my opinion! I like to play at casino,s for the first time i find it very interesting and fun and i have won when i bet with my own monies.Either way i think it may be a good way to get us betting with our own money, You think MMMM
I really did hit it good and you make a deposit and then they set the hook. But its all in a game of chance that we play these games anyway. So i take it for what it is worth and play on!I like RTG at a accredited casino and it is fair to say i will play at most if i have a chance?Peace Out!Out Of The Mist! shewoff

Happened to me also than got a real good hit and managed a withdraw, We can not have it both ways, Either a casino can do this or they can not?

I certainly believe some if not all casino's from certain providers have a switch for RTP but does not make a blind bit of difference if a game is 80 rtp or 95% not for a sessions any way, Yes millions of players many of spins maybe,

Game providers no doubt have a button there end to level the game play
