I have a question for any Rival representative or anyone who knows:

Are there any circumstances under which hitting the three scatter space monkeys results in a bonus spin award of LESS than 10 free spins? For example, is it possible - following a hit of three scatter space monkeys - to be awarded a single free spin? Or, say, four free spins instead of ten?

Has this ever happened to anyone else here?
 
Because (to bump shamelessly, lol) this happened to me. I was on my last $1.00, and lo and behold, I hit three space monkeys - but I got only one free spin! Either the casino is tinkering around with the software (is that even possible?) or else the software is corrupt. Because from my reading of the game instructions, one should ALWAYS receive 10 free spins. I did attempt to resolve this via chat and then email, but to no avail.

Thanks, the reason I was curious was because I was playing a free $5 Chip yesterday at Vegas Regal Casino and the same damn thing happened to me on Scary Rich. I was down to my last $1.20 and did a $1.20 bet on Scary Rich and hit the 3 scatters and it started the spin round but then stopped after one spin and said I needed to make a deposit!

Nicholas you guys need to seriously check this one out. You can go into my game stats there and see where this happened. User name is the same as here. WTF!

Nicholas, the game ID that started the 10 free spin feature was 1215928052 and the very next spin ID was 1215928337 which it ended on!

Yeah, that's not acceptable. I'm sorry. It's totally not. If you win 10 free spins, you win 10 free spins. Period. That applies REGARDLESS of which Rival casino you are playing at, REGARDLESS of whether or not you are on YOUR VERY LAST DOLLAR. Whether or not you are on a no deposit bonus.

Considering that you have expanding wilds during the free spins at x3, we are talking potentially hundreds of dollars at stake. :mad:

If you get anywhere with Vegal Regal, would you please let me know? I can forward that info to Superior, who does not have a rep here on the forums. TIA. :)
 
SlotoCash Error!!

The same gawd damn thing just now happened at SlotoCash!! I was down to my last 0.06 cents and bet it on Scary2. It hit the feature 3 scatters and after the very first spin, this bullshit popped up on the screen.

This was from a real money deposit, NOT free cash either! I want my damn deposit back SlotoCash...this is total bullshit!!! :mad:

Game ID that started free spin round was 1223136974

Game ID that ended free spin round on the very next spin was 1223137196

So now I try something different here at SlotoCash to see if the bonus round on Scary2 will continue. I go and redeem $1.00 in comp points as the previous screen suggested I make a deposit. Well Fu*K me silly now...the game has now dis-continued the free spin mode. SlotoCash you now owe me 9 free spins on Scary2 gawd damit !!!!!!!
 
It happens if you hit free spins on your last bet on RTG/RTVS slots too.

If you click 'no' then the free spins should carry on.

No, wait - I can't honestly say that I recall hitting "no", but since I was not prepared to make a deposit right then, I wouldn't have hit "yes," I would have hit "no" to let the round continue. It did not.

I mean, seriously, if Rival has an established practice of giving only one free spin if the player is on their last dollar and they happen to hit the three "free spin bonus" scatters, just say so. I will be sure never to play on my last dollar. Voila. Case solved. I just want to know, either way.
 
This is a VERY serious software problem which is potentially ripping off thousands of players - we all know how lucrative Scary Rich spins can be and it shouldnt matter how much you have left in your balance - those 10 free spins are yours! Not to mention the possibility of retriggers!

I hope Bryan takes this up with Rival on Monday. It must be corrected immediately and the players affected should be compensated.

Rival has a long history of glitches but most of them have been related to incorrect display and payout indicators etc but this is a very different kettle of fish. Obviously their testing process is flawed and always has been - you very seldom see any glitches with MG and RTG etc so someone at Rival isnt firing on all cylinders.
 
Lately I've got rabbits on Eggstravaganza-and NO message that I got freespins,LOL .They were free but I had to press spin button.

The same day I got the same thing on DogPound. ??? Freespins didnt spin automatically.

I've lost count of bizarre glitches in Rivals.

And ..I'm f..king tired of these NOTORIOUS "LOST CONNECTIONS" when my bet not always returned.

I hate whining but.BUT.

No problem at all. :) I have been playing Rival only for a couple months now, and am fairly new here at CM, so I am not entirely aware of the apparent reputation at Rival for weird glitches. I'm glad it wasn't just me - I don't generally like to make a fuss about things, but since it seems to be systemwide and there is potentially good money at stake, that's all. Cheers.

The Rival operators are miserly people. First, they made sure they every last cent was wagered before the WRs lapsed (previously it was anything less than $1) and now this.
 
No, not yet, its a very serious issue, I'm trying but hitting the free spins on the last spin is not easy.
I'll empty my funbalance and just keep reloading it with 1 and see what happens.

That's a good test De Beuker to see if it also happens in fun mode as well. I just hope Rival gets this serious issue worked out today before someone actually has this happen to them on a really large bet. The $hit will definitely hit the fan then if that happens!

On second thought, this most likely would never happen on a large bet because most likely the player would be betting on all the lines but there is still the issue of it potentially being your last bet that triggers this to happen.

Try Scary1 as well De Beuker, it also happened to me on that one first before the Sloto Scary2 happened.

The fact that six Rival Reps have been here at Casinomeister today and I know for a fact I have seen Sloto here at least twice and still not a one of them can come in here a make a simple comment that they are at least looking into this issue with Rival really gripes my A$$!!

Sloto, I already reminded you in the PM that this is not good for an "Accredited Casino" to NOT MAKE a comment in a thread like this one when you guys obviously have a serious issue with your games there!!

I know you had to of seen this thread as well since it has been on top of the list for most of the day.

Thanks for responding here, even though it is really hard to believe that it could have been missed when it starts off with "Rival Question", but I will take your word for it and say thank you again that you are here now..:thumbsup:

I would also hope that in the future that anytime a thread has the word "Rival" in it that anyone of the Rival Reps here would be willing to respond and take such with seriousness.

I did the same multiple times and was ignored by all parties (with one exception sorta). I wish you the best of luck. :cool:

Of course, Mr. Retention lost the trust of Rival's largest wager (at least at that time but besides the point) and all accounts were closed. Affiliates should be perturbed regardless with their retention shenanigans.

No comment on any Bonne Chance/Silverstone/???? being accredited as that is not an issue I dwell on after I posted my 1 cent.

Maybe this could have something to do with auto player, were you using auto player when this happened?

Because if you hit free spins with auto player, the spin count just keeps on going. So if you don't have enough money to cover 1-10 free spins, the game will just stop and prompt you to make a deposit. Even if the slot doesn't take the spin worth of your balance.

This could be the error, right.

Hey Rob, take a look at the calendar, this was a holiday in most of Europe when you posted this - this is something that upper management needs to address, and I can probably guess that no one was around.

Again, issues like this are usually forwarded up to higher echelons - I wasn't aware of this thread until about a half hour ago.

Not to do with free spins but I can confirm getting the non free spin bonus on your last hit lets you play it with no problems. I know this doesn't help the people in this thread bur it may help Rival.

Thanks for the update, as most savvy players well know that this serious issue could potentially affect thousands of players. I certainly hope that Rival is taking this issue as serious as I am.

The last thing I want to do here is to be promoting Rival Casinos to potential players when we both know that there is a major malfunction going on there with their games!

Also, am I the ONLY webmaster/affiliate here that feels this concern regarding the fairness and reliability of Rival Games? I mean as many webmasters/affiliates that are here at Casinomeister that actively promote Rival Casinos, why is there no other webmaster/affiliates here in this thread? :confused:

Where is the "Rival Representative/Tech" in all of this. Is Rival really taking this issue serious at all here?

OK I have an update on this issue as follows:

I have been informed the error occurred when tech did a small software upgrade on the 31st October! It effected very few players and only users that had a balance of less than $1.00 (they were only alotted one free spin) The problem was fixed within an hour of the upload.

I would like to apologise and kindly ask if you were affected by this error at Sloto'Cash, please PM me with your username and I will credit your account with a loyalty bonus.

I have been informed the error occurred when tech did a small software upgrade on the 31st October!

I beg to differ on the fact of the date here as you can clearly see in my screenshot below when this first happened to me at Vegas Regal...so is it really from a software upgrade that occurred on Oct. 31st? What exactly was the "small software upgrade" ?

How does Rival know that for sure?

The problem was fixed within an hour of the upload.

I'm also not so sure that that is correct either since this error at Sloto on Scary2 occurred on Nov. 1st at 12:09:15AM

There is a lot larger spread of time here than you are aware of or either Rival has mis-informed you on the time-lines.

Also on another note, if Rival were not constantly tweaking with the software regarding the constant daily updates then maybe, just maybe instances like these would not be happening there!
