Hey there,

the people here that know me from the start know that i was a big Rival player back in the days... I stopped playing RIVAL after a few weird pro0blems with my account and because there was no casino left with fast payments.

A couple of weeks ago i started playing RIVAL again at Tropica. And man, i realize how much i missed those games... I really really hope that lots of gamblers who still haven't tried it give this software a chance... Why?

+ Features trigger often (Definitely more often than with every other software except the "dead" Grand Virtual)
+ My favorite feature: Free Spin multiplier gets carried over to Bonus Round. This is the real deal. It's so great if you have a x3 multiplier in free spins and you trigger a picking round which easily can give you 100x on a good day, you know what happens then...
+ Lots of different games with different interesting features ("Skill"-Stuff / Expanding Wilds / Bonus packed slots) all is there.

I just had another beautiful session cashing out over 1800$ from a 100$ deposit. Awesome.

I want to say i'm not an affiliate of any casino and not connected to Rival, i just love love love the software and hope that everyone gives it a try!

And if you're not sure where... I can recommend you Tropica..... The Rep (Dieter) is superfast, you will get answers most times in 1-2 hours and more important: I never waited longer for a cashout than 2 hours! Absolutely fantastic!!

Unfortunately i don't have awesome screenshots from my last session as most wins were around 60-80x bet (just slightly under 100x) but i'm sure they will come.

And just as a sidenote... Besides my progressive win Rival was responsible for my biggest "one-spin-win" giving me over 700x bet at Golden Man with 3 wild reels a couple of years ago.

Cheers and hopefully Rival will be with you as well :)

I like Rival slots but rarely play them. There are just no Rival casinos that I trust that give decent bonuses without crazy terms attached. Tropica falls into that category.

I think it's ok. I mean for all 200%+ bonuses there is a max cashout, but i don't take them anyways... The 100% ones are OK and beatable (sometimes). Between 20-30x playthrough deposit + bonus is pretty common for a lot casinos.

im a huge Rival fan and durin 2009 was the only think i played :) only casino i play in today is Tropica
dont take the bonuses though as i cant play my fav games when taking them :)
they say they got a bonus for every need but they dont have one for a Scary Rich fan, that game is not allowed with almost every bonus :)

Agreed that the Rival slot games are pretty sweet!

I think Jaques Pot was my personal favorite. There was a few times I got the burger topping feature more than once in the free spins and tallied 200X or so. Pigskin Payout gave me many nice wins also.

Very inventive games and features showing some good imagination from the designers.

Hopefully Dieter and Co. can undo some of the damage done by the so-called 'Rival white label' management, as they left a sour taste in the mouths of many Rival software fans. It certainly looks like they are doing just that.

I believe you can play them, but they don't count as much as the others. Just 20% if I don't remember wrong.

I still play them, with or without a bonus.

I love most of the games too. The old ones at least.
I haven't tried so many of the new ones yet. I'm busy catching up for the last few years when I haven't played them ;)

My thoughts exactly. ~5 years ago, I used to play Rival slots a lot (especially Pigskin Payout & Scary Rich), but the pain / delays / excuses the casinos used to give when trying to make a withdrawal made me quit them all together. (I appreciate that this is down to the casino rather than the games provider, however many of them seemed to be inextricably linked and/or shared much of the admin and support. Gave-up trying to find a good one as there's so many other choices out there. (I live where online gambling is regulated and readily available. Sorry it sucks for those who don't have the same options)).

But now there is a group of Rivals that are good.
I cashed out from Tropica last week and was paid in 5 minuts to my Neteller. I doubt that is too long for you :p

Noone of us who plays there would speak good about this group if it wasn't true.

I don't like the title of this thread though because I can't say I love the company Rival yet even if I like their games.
I haven't heard anything good about any other casinos using Rival Software either these days so I don't want to praise the rest in any way.

I fully agree. Scroll through the forum and see posts about Tropica. A fantastic place to play.

This is the thing with Rival that many people don't appreciate: because the Bonus features trigger (on average) MUCH more frequently than most other softwares, the feature HAS to have a lower win potential. BUT... if you get a lot of them quite close together, or get a lot of re-triggers (more likely than other softwares) or get "pick" features during free-spins which ARE multiplied as the other wins, you CAN quickly make a good profit.

I have loved Rival software since I first discovered it in 2006 (and even created 2 websites specifically focusing on their software). But it nearly broke my heart to see them licencing "fly by night" casinos who had not the first clue about Customer Satisfaction or "fair play" which led to the whole brand acquiring a somewhat "dodgy" reputation.
This was tremendously unfair on the handful of brands who have only always done the right thing by their customers (e.g. Sloto'Cash, Superior, Tropica Group, Sunset Slots, 400 Group and Pantasia Group), but ultimately I blame Rival for this: They should have taken more care and control over who they licensed and not just been like "another RTG or Playtech" who seem to not give a toss who runs casinos with their brand of software. :(

Anyway, things are definitely starting to look up again for this brand and the future is starting to look more rosy for them
Caveat: There ARE still a lot of "dodgy" Rival casinos around - care and research is required before playing.

I'm still play at Slots Capital and quite happy with them. I love the games too. I've been playing there since they came online. LOL!

I had a payout about a month ago that took 7 days and came WU, which I think is pretty good.

I get nice bonuses, better than I get from RTG now. And lots of free chips. I don't think I've ever seen a bonus that was limited to certain games, sometimes they are sticky and sometimes not.

Haven't been able to try Tropica yet. Can't sign up for some reason.

Good morning guys,

Thank you from me and the team for the kind words. We have been doing our best to turn things around and it looks like we're making progress. We're not perfect, but we understand what customers want. As a player myself, I have tested every accredited casino to see where / how we can improve or be better :)

I understand the concern and frustration about operators who let players down, however I am hoping that these guys have all been weeded out by now. Rival is always prepared to assist when we escalate things to them regarding other operators as the image of the software is important to all of us.

Glad you love the games!

Annie - when you say you can't sign up, can you please explain what you mean? Are you having trouble accessing the site or Instant Play? You're welcome to PM me.

Have a great day!
Dieter

P.s. Rival have been made aware of this thread. They are always kept in the loop on what players and affiliates are saying.

Thanks for the info - 5mins withdrawal time is certainly something I could live with (& beats many of the sites I currently play at!). Please also don't think for a moment I would doubt the word of the majority of members here either, it's just that there are so many other options of casino's & games providers out there, I haven't found myself struggling with too much nostalgia for the Rival slots. Maybe one day though...

There is one good thing that came from the previously mentioned headaches the white-label sites caused - I no longer take sign-up or deposit bonuses when playing anywhere. When I am now in the fortunate position to make use of the cashout button, it's a blissfully stress free process. Now only if I could do it more often! ;)

I remember Chopley doing one of his famous videos at Tropica, taking the 1777% bonus and depositing $£100 to try and do the 119k of playthrough. He missed the first time but made it on the second cashing out over 800 quid, playing the golf game and working out it had an effective RTP of 98%+ due to a skill element thus making the bonus nearly EV. Tropica paid him in 1-2 days no problem, but they subsequently took the golf game out of bonus WR permission......:D:D

If Tropica are paying quick I might take my first delve into the world of Rival.:eek2:

I miss Chopley's videos. As KK mentioned earlier the bonuses on Rival hit more frequently but for less of a pay 40-80 X but I've had some as high as 400X. I always thought it would be fun to see a Chopley challenge on RIVAL to see if you could start alphabetically and play every single game until you got the bonus on each game and then move to the next one. Could it be done and make WR on a reasonable bonus?

Great idea

Why don't YOU give it a go? ;)

I did it not exactly like this but close...

Going down game by game, but always change if i can'tn hit the bonus after a few triggers.... Last time it worked out great... It was one of those days like:

5 games with no bonus - then 1 crazy awesome bonus - 5 games with no bonus....

It'd be great to have an accredited Rival. Seems likely the way things are going, and I'm going to test a few games when I get time and then see what SUB offers Tropica have. I fancy a change of scenery, and they are (aside from EGT tedium) the only software I haven't played for real money. There seems a general consensus that the Rival games are well respected, but hitherto there have been trust issues with their sites. Well done to Tropica for getting the ball rolling down the right track.

I love Rival software, when Microgaming left USA rival filled my void. But I stopped playing Rival because of Canadian Checks the last time I won it took about 60 days that the bank held the money and now that bank won't even take those checks anymore. I know you have WU as well, but if you hit big or have many withdrawals that can be an issue. I wish there was a way that Rivals can do checks drawn on USA banks -- I be playing everyday if that were the case.

It'd be great to have an accredited Rival.
Don't you mean "some more accredited Rivals"?
Slots Capital and Desert Nights have been accredited for ages.

Though to be fair Bryan's list only states Desert Nights RTG version, not the Rival version - but I think that was just an oversight.
(And Bryan, if you're reading this, the RTG version was recently re-named as Uptown Aces).
