3 or 4 days is absolutely ridiculous. Any reason for the pending period? Such as AML? Because if its UK then AML should already have been done at the beginning of the process.
Regardless, a lot of the better providers now allow you to lock withdrawals which can be pretty handy. Sure the UKGC are looking at the pending withdrawal times as well, some are completely unnecessary. However, in the current state of play they do exist and the player...if they feel they will go back and gamble...can just apply a timeout for a week and by that time the withdrawal will have been processed untouched.
