Reel Island bonus terms, not impressed!

I have been playing at reel island casino and they will give you goodwill bonuses based on gameplay. I have now discovered however that the winnings from these bonuses is capped at $100 whether the bonus be $10 or $30! This does not seem right or fair to me. I have only seen this on no deposit sign up bonuses at casinos is this really fair? Opinions?

It is strange though cos when I read the terms it sounds as though this is for first time players no deposit bonus doesn't mention goodwill bonuses the operator didn't know she just copy pasted the terms basically. Any input please

Wife had £5 B'day/Goodwill bonus off these guys and withdrew over £100 from it

Ok so it is a confused operator thanks. From reading it it seemed not to mean that unless you were a first time player who hadn't deposited. Just wasn't sure

Can never be 100% sure with these sort of scenarios.

Most times these instances are to protect casinos from players who take a sign up 'No deposit' make a cash out and never or very rarely risk their own funds.

If such a rule existed for ALL no deposits, including good will, I would hazard a guess that most reputable casinos would look at the player deposit history and if a loyal player or fairly regular depositor would honour cash outs in full from NDB. (Possibly excluding ND SUB's)

Each casino will more than likely have their own 'discretional' rulings and treat any such cases on an individual basis.

However there are also plenty that stick to the '£100 max is £100 max' regardless.

In personal experiences I have only ever been bitten once by a similar rule (was with Vegas Partner Lounge, not these guys) £100 max from ND Free spins and lost around the £300 mark IIRC, even tho I had a loyal and strong deposit history. After a visit to live chat, I also found out that if I'd made a small £20 deposit I would have got to keep the lot!

While some operators do cap all comps, it is more typically a 5x bonus or 10x bonus amount kind of cap. Sometimes when a NDB goes out to all players, it might have a cap. But usually a goodwill bonus of say $30, is probably for at least a $300 loss, and more likely more. So a $100 withdrawal is a bit of a miff if it was a goodwill gesture.

I'd make your withdrawal and see what happens. If you are limited to $100, I'd write management and ask if that was truly their intention for that term, and perhaps they should amend it to be clearer. If you are paid, I'd write them and thank them, tell them the misinformation from CSR, and suggest they update their terms, to more accurately reflect their policy.

Ending up requesting a withdrawal higher then the $100 so fingers crossed!

I ask the above because I deposited £10 and took the 100% bonus. From that I won £50. While waiting for my verification details to be processed I reversed the withdrawal request to play with again and won £480 which is now winging its way to my account as the verifications have gone through.
