redbet/canadians/lockedout?

 hey i cant log into redbet today. the message says currently we do not offer services in - canada

jesus last casino for you know what!

are you other canucks locked out too?

I feel for and with you. I have been banned completely from many casinos due to my location in the past 12 months. If not banned, then half the games, mostly the best like WMS, are not available.

On top many casinos do not allow any bonuses or taking part in their promotions. These are the worst in my view as i can play cash deposits only without any perks or rewards and in essence subsidizing their promos to the "privileged" countries.

Happy that VS is my regular hangout, there i only have WMS restricted.

Yeah funny because I just played there and asked if they still let Canadians play NE and they were like, "Yeah why wouldn't we?" And I said that a couple other places stopped me from playing, they said "No that's so weird - no, you're good here!" and then 2 days later...

It's disappointing - especially since again there was no email, no warning - nothing.

its not even illegal here. What are these peasants so scared of

I heard that Netent is applying for a licence in British Columbia. They will soon have an audit and they cant have any traffic from Canada until licence has been issued. Then any licenced operator in British Columbia will be able to offer Netent games to people who live in that province.

This kind of response severely undermines trust in the company. Deliberately keeping front line CS ignorant of the changes afoot results in them blatantly lying to players on behalf of the company, and because they honestly believe they are telling the truth, it can make the lies VERY convincing.

UK players were being treated like this by the casinos that decided not to stay in the UK market once our new regulations came into force. This meant that I assumed ALL the casinos I played would be doing the "no notice overnight lockout" on me on some random date prior to the 1st October, so I actually quit playing many in July, when the first UK player posted that one casino group had already locked out it's UK players without giving them much notice, if any.

Canadian facing casinos genuinely not intending to quit Canada may well begin to suffer as Canadian players repeatedly get told there are no plans to pull out, only to be locked out without notice within the week.

Well that would be a big step forward for Playnow.

In 1958, popular radio DJ Alan Freed was at a concert in Boston and told the audience "It looks like the Boston police don't want you to have a good time." Looks like the slot companies and the government are doing the same to online gamblers in Canada and elsewhere. It's at the point where maybe I should stick to land-based because I'm going to lose either way.

To add insult to injury I just got a promotional email from them offering "Today ONLY!" free spins on a NE game with a deposit. Really?
