I got the same snail mail and I, too, have an account registered with this casino, but I went ahead and used their special account they provided for me and played my hour and won. Problem is that you have to deposit to get your winnings, and since this is my second account (even though they coaxed me into it) I'm afraid to deposit now for fear of being locked out and losing my deposit.

Interesting... they presupply the account and password?

And they're different than your orignal ones?

... I'm pretty sure Red Flush would frown on two accounts... and I'm pretty sure they'd detect if this was happening. So I don't recommend it without checking.

Yea maybe so BUT it's their own damn fault for setting up another account for folks without first checking to make sure you might already have one !

Hell, they mailed two of these CD's to my address at the same time last week...one in my wifes name and one in my name and I already have an account there but even if I didn't they are just plain and simply asking for trouble by sending one to husband and wife at the same address if in fact you can only have one active account there from one single address..

This casino seems to me to be just about three or four bricks shy of a full load here...:p

Red Flush

Yup, I got same cd today. Once I popped it in and installed I already had an account as I suspected. I sent an email and asked I I could still use. No reply yet. I probably won't even attempt to use since I'm not a new player.

I figure it comes preloaded with an account and password because US players couldn't open new accounts. Maybe just a loophole. That's just a guess:confused:

Fine, just don't come crying to me when they void your winnings.

EasyRhino, I think you may have missed my point there...I would never open up more than one account per casino and I just took those CD's and threw them in the trash, but the point I was making was that the casino is setting their customers up and themselves too for failure by doing this sort of marketing.

For instance the player that has forgotten that they previously opened an account at this casino earlier in the year and now receives this CD and decides hey, I will try this out and they end up winning and are all so excited now except for when they go and try to cashout just to hear the let down from the casino that they already have an account there and their winnings will now be voided.

That is going to be one pissed off customer who in the long run will announce this on boards like CM which will make this casino look bad for their BS marketing techniques and also for attributing to the players failure !

When I download an open a new account an get the welcome email
I open a folder an name it for that casino that way I always know if I have a account for any casino
just a thought

Good Luck

Yea, I do the same thing but there are a hell of a lot of peeps that I am sure don't though.

I got the same promotion - what surprises me is my name is on the letter - so they must know I have an account already:what: Jas has the rep responded to you yet?

I concur, I worry there will be a lot of drama in the future.

Anyone heard anything back from Red Flush (maybe regular support instead of the rep) about how to handle this situation?

Nope no reply so........ guess it is time to send them a email

mine also had my name on it

I got a CD in the mail from Red Flush a couple of moths ago. It offered $100 free no deposit. I got on live chat, told them that I was already a customer and the rep said "cool I will credit your account". The $100 was in there within a couple of minutes. He must have pushed the quick drain button as well because it was gone in no time. Still nice of them to honor the offer.

Preregistering an account is "rogue behaviour" - it is also ILLEGAL behaviour in many places, including here. It is covered under both the Data Protection acts and the Gambling laws.

1) It is a breach of data protection laws to create an account, be that bank account, credit card, or even casino account in the name of any individual without their PRIOR CONSENT.

2) No-one may be entered as a party to a lottery, draw, (read other gambling "device") without them first giving consent.

This CD seems to breach both rules. The accounts are pre-registered in the names of the recipients, rather than being simply an offer to "Dear householder" as has been the case in the past.

What will get Red Flush, and indeed other casinos, into big trouble is when non-players get these, get scared (account in their name, $500 in it etc.....) and run to the various agencies, such as the Police, Trading Standards, without even having the slightest notion this is all just a big "come on" from one of many online casinos.

IF the reps leap on here and say these are ONLY sent to "players", and not the public at large, then they have stepped into the proverbial without any help at all, since they are more or less admitting to sending the offers to a database populated IN THE MAJORITY by players INELIGIBLE for the offer.

This kind of "dirty tricks" campaign to boost new sign-ups is going to backfire heavily, there are MANY players who simply don't have a damn clue about "multiple machines, IP, shared environments, etc", whose eyes glaze over rather than really understanding, and will simply take the CD offer "as is", and expect CS to be "on the ball" if there are any problems right from the outset. Since the account is marketed as pre-registered, this will make these players believe they have been GIFTED something, and that this is NOT simply an advertisement.

This might then fall foul of advertising rules, as it must be MADE CLEAR when something is merely an "advertisement", and using phrases such as "pre registered", "pre approved", and even "already opened and credited with a free $....." does the opposite. The BANKS have been in trouble for sending out "approved" offers which were simply mass mailings, and were instructed to make it clearer that these were simply illustrations based on general information, and were by no means a personalised offer.

If a good many casinos have decided to use this method of promotion, I hope they are ready for the mess this could create, and the publicity that will be generated, one example of which is this thread.

Red Flush is a big joke to me. I have never got the free spins, but they keep telling me that I have used them..
So it is very easy; I don`t deposit there. When it comes to MG, I play at Ladbrokes, nice support and fast payouts.

In the past I usually play at Unibets MG casino, but after one year they seem to be arrogant: no answer at the Live support or the mail-support..
It seems they was thinking: " don`t care about that customers, they play for many, many thousand Euros anyway..."

I get theese all the time, and they are not a Red Flush thing. The strange part is that it seems not many casinos (if any that sends CDs) bother to check if you are already registered, and all you get is that nasty message after that you cannot use the bonus and they are very sorry.

On the other hand, one cant help asking a very important question. Do the casino make more money sending out theese offers to everyone, well knowing many cannot use it. After all - one of us big losers will pay for many CDs by snail mail! Or - is it just that the casino has bad routines, since after all - they take their business very serious!

(oh the sarcasm)

After seing this behaviour many times, and after all - Kim Steinhaug at the adress I live - should ve very easy to wash against a list of excisting accounts. However - they dont! I guess we have plausable denialability!

I got my CD today. Called Red Flush cs and they said that since I was already registered to please pass it on to a friend that isn't a member since I can't use it... I said I sure will...I gave it right to Gahbahhggg...the circular file friend :D
