Who really believes online slots are random?
Here is an odd fact;
Out of maybe 200 deposits at online casinos to play slots I have won once!
and guess what? Yeah that was my first ever deposit.Weird coincidence or NOT.
Here is another odd fact;
I have just finished playing at 777 dragon casino and on the new slot (Rome or something) I hit the free spins 1 time in 900 spins! and then proceeded to play Starscape where I hit the feature a grand total of ZERO times in over 350 spins.Just bad luck you say?Yeah but I seem to have the same ridiculous bad luck every time.
Oddest fact of all;
Whenever I have hit a decent win I have already been well down and it usually brings me back, incidentally of course,to around even on that session. This is then always followed by an incredible losing streak whereby the wild symbols seem to dissapear and I could safely bet my house on not hitting the free spins in the next 300 spins.
Who knows maybe the payout percentage are what they say but random?
ABSOLUTELY NO WAY!
Finally I would just like to thank 777 Dragon as I will not spend another penny with these jokers or any other online casino again.
Good luck to you all

I feared that this thread title was an instruction! :eek2:

I've hit features on the first spin, or gone over 700 spins... Won 6000 off depositing a tenner, or burnt through a grand in no time.

It all makes it even more random in my eyes.

Sounds like a bad day Rusty. You're dealing with issues of "variance", not randomness. If you play straight-up 3 reel slots, you'll hit more often and have a more balanced perception dished out.

If you play the 5-reel bonus slots, you'll get loooong periods of nothing, followed by as little as one big hit. Any slot with massive attractive top-end payouts will suck and suck before they blow. I can go perhaps 30 or 40 sessions without a "decent" hit on some slots (ISIS etc) and then one hit (like the one today - see WS thread) and I get it all back in one spin. Then I put it back again and the cycle of life continues, all the time sucking out it's 5% :D

But whichever way you look at it, you will always lose on slots unless you are one of the very lucky minority.

Cheers,

Simmo!

I do!
As someone who plays them nearly every day and makes profit nearly every month, I am happy that they are random & fair (except at RTG's  )
I know you can have bad runs like you describe sometimes, but the trick is to have a plan & stick to it.
The main thing is to quit when you're ahead!
Take a quick look at this log - started with $50 deposit + $225 bonus, crashed to last $1.07 & recovered to cash-out 250!

I'm a Minority! My mum will be proud!

I do actually believe (I believe! I believe!) that the slots are actually randomish.

To a hardcore, thrill seeking, pumped up, adrenalin seeking online gambling slots junkie, nothing beats spinning those reels.

The thing is - when to stop. If you have just logged on and you hit say a 'free spin' feature within 20 spins and you win 50 times your stake - that's when you need to stop. But the thing is, you haven't really had your fix.

Obviously, I cannot speak for all slots players but I've only had my fix when I'm actually starting to fall asleep whilst inanely clicking away at the mouse. I need to have played for a good 2, 3 probably 4 hours until I am fed.

This, in my opinion is how the casinos win. They know that you can win. But they also know, that you cannot stop.

That's why a hardcore slots player NEVER wins.

Unless your name is KasinoKing. :p

I actually am finding slots quite predicatble :D With a 95% payout slots are nothing near random. The thing is that you need to have the bank roll to weather the storm.

:)

Thanks all,
I guess I just needed to vent a little steam.....again!
Ignore me or patronise me but please do'nt tell me you won :p
My luck has been absolutely miserable for far too long but I accept many of the points you have all made.I just wish that I could actualy get infront, just once, so I could worry about not coming off when in front.
As for a plan?I have one but a length of quality rope his harder to buy than you might think:oops:
Sorry for the whine but at least it gave my monitor time to recover from its beating.
Good luck all and thanks for the replies.

Maybe it's time to start playing with a tighter leash on your bankroll? ie: Much smaller bets :)

Smaller?

Maybe it's time to start playing with a tighter leash on your bankroll? ie: Much smaller bets

My bankroll is an unruley beast and bites when I try to put a leash on!
Maybe castration is the answer though
:what:

Seriously though, maybe it is time to grind away at those losses. Sure it'll take awhile, but in the end it's worth it.

That's exactly how I started 5-years ago... and I'm still grinding! :D

Good luck Rusty - take care

Rusty your first post is correct

i have been doing this for three years and everything you say rings true to me. what few decent wins i have had were right after a loss of about the same amount. and now with nothing to play except mg casinos it is even worse. allslots casino for example, when i look at the BIG winners list it ranges for 2 to 4 grand(not counting the progessives, different horse). this is a joke even when betting 2.50 a pop. no such thing as a winning streak for me. after all this time, never has happened. if it were truly random sooner or later even this blind hog would have stumbled on it.

...and now with nothing to play except mg casinos it is even worse...
Why not take a look at Hype or inChilli?
OK for all USA, and some great slots! (and not much else actually :p )
Very similar to RTG's, except these babies do actually give you a chance of a big win! ;)
I'm thinking of adding a page reviewing all their slots on my site, cos some are much better than others - I recommend Mermaid Magic, White Wizard & Temple of Isis (Same as RTG's Cleopatra) as the best three.
Only downsides: No autoplay or play logs - so if doing a bonus WR you have to count all your wagers.

Can you request play logs from the casinos directly?

I would think they'd have to let you have them.
edit: Even then, logs can be altered...bah

PS: If you're really paranoid, you can use a program called "camtasia" to actually record your sessions :D The only drawback to that program is that I don't think it'll work if you use full-screen mode.

So it's not just me then?

I am a daily depositer, or every other day depositer ranging from 60-100 bucks....I used to play at a few casinos, but now only play at one. I haven't hit anything, and remember I deposit almost every day!!!

This rings very true to me too, what the original poster is saying.

Now the only casino I play at is "having bonus difficulties" (I only take a bonus when it doubles my money) I deposited at 9am and still haven't received my bonus, it is 2:30pm now..... usually it comes within 2 hours or less (now it's up to a 24 hour wait because THEY are having difficulties)...I then asked if I could have it removed and they said no....So here I sit, being bored and twiddling my thumbs. Like they can't remove it

This seems very wrong to me, if I wanted it removed they should remove it, then I could just play with my money instead of trying to reach a playthrough.

Sorry went off track there for a moment....but I agree, seeing as I deposit everyday it IS VERY odd that I haven't been able to make a cash out.
