Quicktender/Netspend

Just thought I would give a heads up on the Netspend/casino deposits problems. Most of you that use Netspend to deposit directly to a casino know by now that Netspend is holding pending transactions even after they have actually cleared if they are flagged as casino deposits. So for me, Club World and Villento go thru just fine but Rivals get caught.

I have been funding my Quicktender account and depositing from there. I had one deposit to QT that got hung in pending because QT actually ran it thru as a different name than the pending one. I called Netspend, thinking crap they have caught on. Nope, not a clue. Took the pending transaction right off with no problem. Looks like that so far Quicktender is safe and hasn't been flagged at least by Netspend.

It's pricey but worth it if it continues to work for US players.

You might be able to save some money in the long run by getting additional netspend cards....I believe you can have up to 4 in your name...

I only have one, but what I do is load what I'm going to deposit onto my card, so if NS wants to hold an additional amount...it's not there. :D But, if you want to make multiple deposits, with 4 cards you could have 4 going at once...

I'm pretty screwed with by bank's debit card. I found out that they were the ones that charged me a currency conversion fee when I used it to fund my QT account, so I'm not going that route again...all in all it was ~ a 3% charge on top of the 5% that QT charged me

Winbig,

From my experience with this holding crap, it doesn't matter, they will run your card in the negative until the 7 day or 30 day hold is over. I had one card that was in the negative 30 days until they released the hold. Actually, my card was in the negative this am until I called and had the pending released. So you can really screw up your cards if you don't pay attention.

Point is that QT seems to be OK so far. Club World and Villento deposits come thru as legit stuff so (knock on wood) they aren't being held yet.

Wow, that's weird....I just deposited w/Crazy Vegas (VPL) using NS, I'll post here if my card goes in the negative as well...

Thats what I do I have 2 cards - Seems Rival casinos are flagged by Netspend - I only deposit 50.00 at a time so I will use my other card if I want to play before the week is up. Sucks - but what can a gambler do out here in the " FREE World "

Winbig,

It depends on what processor the casino uses. Like Rivals comes thru with Slotocash, or whichever one it is, Casino while CW or Villento can come thru as Tunes or Sesco or something like that. What Netpsend does is not release the amount from pending for 7-30 days. Just sucks.

wow i have had a casino double deposit for the same transaction charged to my netspend and they wouldnt release my pending one, even though it was a double charge for the same transaction, i had to wait out the 7 days. netspend is convienent but they have never been helpful to me at all. i have had the card for 2 years, also i have 2 cards but they are both connected if i have a balance on one card and 0 on another card because i didnt fund the other card i go and check the balance on the card i didnt fund and it has same amount as the card i did fund.

It's Netspend

In the past week Netspend has been double entering all my charges. It was about ten charges to three different casinos. They enter the transaction twice in "pending transactions", then when it goes thru they move one transaction to "completed transactions" and the other sits in "Pending" for seven days. I verified this by charging odd amounts.

Calling them does no good...they claim it's the vendor. How can that be with three non-affiliated casinos TIV, INETBET, RIVERBELLE?

I'm seriously considering only :laugh:using my b & m casinos in South Florida. You think they'll mind me playing in my undies?:D:D

You will not only lose your panties but your ass too!! :_) TRUST ME South Florida has "vegas slots" now but it is a joke!!
I don't know what part of Florida you are located, but best bet are the sun cruz casinos boats , then online, and if desperate for action then by all means SF casinos

Netspend will tell you it's the vender but it's not. I got kinda pissy with them and they finally told me it was because it was flagged as a gambling site.

But do watch QT because they sometimes run a deposit thru under one name for pending and another for the actual charge. Has happened to me twice in the last 2 weeks. Netspend will fix those for you. I just tell them it is something I bought off the internet.

I too am a US resident. Up until last month all I ever used to make deposits were my Netspend cards. I actually have two. Since I don't like using my bank to withdraw winnings I have a wiredplastic card as well which comes in handy. I now have a quicktender account which I have recently begun to use now instead of my netspend cards. I load the money from my netspend cards to my quicktender account and have no problems.

I have used netspend since september. I have deposited to only 3casinos and I think they all say casino as the recpient of transfer..As a matter of fact I use netspend for only gambling sites..So far have had no problems with holding funds etc
Only problem is one cannot reach them by phone or who to contact if any problem
