Hi guys

Just a quickie: how many of you turn the sounds "off" when you are playing MG games? Personally i find them annoying but i wondered how public opinion stands.

Cheers

Hi Simmo!

I turn off the irritating 'background' sounds when playing cards, and the stupid voice telling me what cards are showing on the Blackjack table, like I'm blind or something! (This also slows the game down too much even for me!)
But I leave all the others on as I think they help create a nice gambling atmosphere.
I also set all the card games to slowest speed - to match my brain! :D

I turn off all the lobby sounds, and all the game sounds, as well as setting the game speed to fastest. One of the main reasons I was an RTG junkie was for the superfast speed, but with all sounds off and speed set to fastest the Viper Vegas Strip BJ blows away RTG in speed.

This is my style too. I recommend Vegas Villa and Desert Dollar for lightning fast classic BJ.

Since when did you stop being a die-hard RTG fan and started playing at MG casinos? I thought you said MG wasn't trustworthy or something like that blah blah a couple of months ago?

Sorry to say bud but you have got me mistaken for someone else. How could I say that Microgaming wasn't trustworthy when I had never played at an MG casino. Maybe you are referring the the obvious spyware problem I had when I downloaded a Belle Rock Gaming casino (not saying it was them), but I never got to play because I was so put off I removed it from my computer. I have never said anything about the fairness of the software. I started looking into other softwares a couple of months ago when I posted about the obvious change in the RTG software right after they had a major update, and introduced the multiplayer table for BJ. As time went by the ridiculous hands being dealt when I played, and cipher's posts, as well as other players backing up my assumptions pushed me to take my business elsewhere. I was told that MG Viper was as fast as RTG, maybe even faster when the settings are changed. Anyways I decided to try out Maple Casino as I am Canadian and could play in Canadian dollars. Well so far it has been the best online gaming experience I have had and I am very satisfied with MG Viper and Vegas Partner Lounge.

Well, I used to turn the sound off, but lately, with some of the glitches, I thought I'd keep them on. In the event that the machine tells me the number on the card and it differs from the one I can PLAINLY see in front of me.

So yeah, it is irritating, but I guess it has it's place at times... besides, I guess being a mother of a seven and 12 year old has me blocking out unwanted sounds anyways! :p

Thanks for keeping Laura busy, so I have some spare time to play...
Not bad starting with a 20 deposit: my first experience at Vegas Joker Casino...

Whatever, but you did have something against all casinos except those running RTG! You only played at RTG casinos just a few months ago!

I have never said that at all, you need to get your facts straight. I said I strictly play RTG because they do not have sound effects and the speed was fast. After RTG went to hell (in my opinion) I decided to look into other casinos and after reading some posts and opinions on MG I decided to play at casinos running their software.

Yeah and now I only play at MG casinos, and only those within the VPL group! What is your point? and why do you care anyways, it is of no concern to you what I do, or where I play, or my reasons for any decision I make.

Indeed it is no concern of mine but I wasn't the one who did a worldwide broadcast on "I only play at RTG casino" a while back! :)
