Question about bonuses

Hi guys,

I have a quick question about casino bonuses. If for example I deposited $50 and got $50 bonus, I would need to wager both the deposit and bonus 15x before I can withdraw the bonus.

Now since most casinos do not allow you to play craps, roulette and most only only 1/2 wager for Blackjack what happens if I play craps, roultte, Blackjack and make another $50. So my total amount in my account is now $150 ( $50 deposit, $50 bonus & $50 winnings). Can I withdraw the $50 profit when I want or only after the 15x wager. If it is the latter then it seems bonus hunting is a waste of time.

Thanks in advance

It's impossible to give a yes or no answer as it depends on the casino. At Boss-casinos, for instance, you can withdraw your winnings before finishing the wager-requirements but it means giving back the bonus. At most (probably all) Microgaming-casinos you have to finish the wager before you're allowed to withdraw anything.

Hi Parkmyjag,

you gotta read the casino's bonus policy. Some insist that you must wager 15X BEFORE making any cash in. Some will let you play craps and roulette but won't count it as part of your wagering requirements. If you fail to follow their Terms and Conditions, you're taking the risk of losing both the bonus and your winnings.

Go to the casino website and read the bonus policy concerning the bonus you've received. In doubt, send them an email for further clarification... or send a private message to the Rep using Casinomeister's feature (you can find the Rep's name under Casino Operators; click on the name and choose 'Send a private message').

Hope it helps.

It most definitely is NOT a waste of time! :D

But what is a waste of time, is playing ANY casino without reading ALL the T&C's first.
I know it's dull as ditch-water - but do it and save yourself any grief later.

Good luck!

I had a stunt as bonus hunter years ago, when the pickings were easier.

I quit for this reason:

I know it's dull as ditch-water

I couldn't play BJ for some time after that - it wasn't any fun, it had become so mechanical.

Now I refuse bonuses, and believe it or not, that can be a pain also.

I don't know why there can't be an option before you deposit - yes I want a bonus, no I don't. And if you say yes, it should show you the WR. Or at least it should tell you there IS a WR and where. All those poor newbies who don't know diddly about WR and then don't get paid because they didn't follow something they never heard existed.

I like this idea! Can't see the casino's doing it though.

BTW, my 'dull as ditch-water' comment relates to the reading of the T&C's only, not to 'Bonus Hunting' itself, which is anything but dull (if you don't play much blackjack, that is!)

Thank you all for your responses.

It seems in order to win these bonuses the casinos are forcing us to play games that I personally have never played before. It looks like they are really squeesing us newbies for every penny we have.

I was hoping to use the bonus as a backup in case I got in trouble with my own staking bank, guess I have to try to play other games. Any ideas which games I should play since blackjack has so many restrictions nowdays???

Thanks,

park

Games to meet bounus wager requirements

Parkmyjag,

It depends on the casino that your are playing for a reference to what games.

In the past I have posted asking for advice when I inadvertently got stuck with a wager requirement. (Such as CS not allowing a cashin on subsequent deposit that they linked to a prior bonus.)

I cleared +$500 from the gaming club with such advice, though majority of winnings were from BJ.

I wouldn't ask for help on each WR just if you are stuck with some big money and need to get it out via WR.

Good Luck,

Buck

I've been bonus hunting for 6 months and I like to play Blackjack
bonus free from time to time - to give the Casino play and also when I
have time constraints. I'm bothered when I get a $20 or $30 bonus without
asking and have to play it thru 15 to 30 times when all I want to do is play
for twenty minutes. Now I have to deal with getting it removed/ playing it thru / or returning when I have more time.I sometimes think that it's a Casino
ploy to make you have to expose your deposit to loss for a longer peroid of
time

Just my opinion

I have a couple of theories on this...

1.) Learn to play video poker. 9/6 Jack's or Better has a 99.x% return and while volatile, is not depressingly so. You'd be able to play quite a while on your stake, even though you'd most likely blow through it before hitting the WR's.

2.) Use the initial deposit and bonus money to play a highly volatile game in which you can win BIG! If they let you play a progressive slot machine, play it till you're broke...or play a 1 or 5$ slot machine otherwise. Yeah, you are most likely gonna go broke again, but you could get lucky.

3.) If you're going to play games such as BJ, don't make weenie bets to conserve the bonus money. The reason they have the 20x requirement is so that you DO make those little bets to conserve it, thus making it easier for them to hit the house edge. Use it to make a big score, and only after generating a significant win, bet conservatively to give them their grind.

4.) I haven't tried this, but some casinos do offer let it ride. This is a highly volatile game with a large house edge, but when dealt in vegas fashion, you place 3 bets out and get to retrieve 2 on losing hands. If they credit the initial bet towards the WR, you might effectively be getting 3x credit for your bet.

Of the choices, I like video poker. Its easy to play and after a while, you can get into a kind of meditative groove that in itself is kind of relaxing, at least until you blow through your wad and wonder why the $#%#$ did I do that?

This can't possibly happen, can it?? You mean you can have a large credit balance, then see it get decimated in mere hours as it all goes horribly wrong?!?? I have no idea what you're talking about, having never ever done this!

I know that Cryptologic do not count the withdrawn bets towards WR, but I don't know about any other softwares.

But what you didn't mention, are the other Poker games; Stud, 3-card & PaiGow. I play these regularly as opposed to BlackJack, VP or Let-it-ride, which always seem to take the P! :(

for example -

deposit $100 + bonus $100 + winning $100 = total $300 (in your account)

1. casino on net

before fulfill wager requirement :
you can cash out your deposit and your winning($200).

after fulfill wager requirement :
you can cash out all the money($300).

2. intercasino

before fulfill wager requirement :
you can cash out only your deposit($100).

after fulfill wager requirement :
you can cash out all the money($300).

3. most of playtech casinos

before fulfill wager requirement :
you can cash out only your deposit($100).

after fulfill wager requirement :
you can cash out your deposit and your winning($200).

and at most of casinos can play roulette, crab, blackjack and sicbo etc.
but they will not count towards wager requirement
if that game is excluded fulfill wager requirement.

but some casinos ask do not play these games.
if you play these games, your bonus and winning will be forfeited.
and your account will be blocked.
avoid these casinos.
