I just noticed that these guys are on the no-can-do list and was trying to find any threads about them or issues people have had but couldn't find anything. I signed up there quite a while ago and made a few deposits but haven't played there for awhile. I almost deposited last week but went somewhere else instead - should I not bother with them?

These guys have been on a slow and unnoticed stroll to rogue city. I was playing there until recently, but since this year there have been some instances of odd behaviour.

First off, out of the blue a while ago, I got the "hard sell" phone call encouraging me to reverse a withdrawal. I was told I could reverse all or part of it, but I could get EXTRA if I agreed to reverse ALL of it.

This abberation quickly became the norm, and when I mentioned the first call to Bryan he told me THEY had requested removal from the accredited section. This is VERY odd indeed, as casinos normally get removed for issues. Bryan suggested that Prime simply did not want to adhere to the high standards required of an accredited casino, so wanted to no longer appear there.

More recently, and after paying a nice 6000+ withdrawal without incident, I cashed in my comps worth 30 and worked them up to 500 - which I cashed in. I AGAIN got the "hard sell" phonecall, but I already intended this to be my last play there. I refused the offer, but they said I should think again, and would send it by email (even though I had said no over the phone).

A week passed, and no 500 - so I queried this, and got the vague "it's with our operations department". I pressed a little harder, and they claimed it was held up by a "routine fraud investigation" which they claimed was nothing to do with them, but an eCogra requirement. Odd thing though, at NO time was I informed there would be a "routine" anything, nor were any documents requested (now how could they investigate anything without an up-to-date set of my documents).

I gave them notice that I understood all about eCogra requirements, and that I did not believe anything merely "routine" would lake longer than the 14 days eCogra requires players to wait before raising an issue with them.

Suddenly, they couldn't pay me fast enough:rolleyes: so I rather think this was BULLSHIT, otherwise they would have stuck to their guns, and would have been able to give a reasonable account of this action were eCogra to get involved.

This latest development is a further step IN THE WRONG DIRECTION. What is REALLY worrying though, is that everything is handled by Palace Group, and the emails I was receiving over this issue were signed "the Palace Group"

By sheer coincidence (or sheer bullshit we are separate etc......) this issue ALSO seems to have affected my status at Ruby Fortune, where I was VIP at around the time I had the 6000 winning session at Prime, but now I am a "nobody" at Ruby Fortune, and have not seen a SINGLE one of their promotional mailers since, and the ones from Prime stopped at a similar time.

This is important, since information SHOULD NOT BE GETTING SHARED between Prime and Ruby Fortune since Prime is supposedly nothing to do with Palace Group, other than the fact that Prime's owners pay Palace Group to handle the day to day running of the casino, and all CS and payments. My winning 6000 at Prime (putting me ahead over the lifetime of the account) should NOT have caused me to receive a promotions ban at Ruby Fortune as well as at Prime, since I was a loyal VIP, and 15K DOWN at Ruby Fortune.

On top of all this, there have been the recent complaints about Palace Group, and even their temporary removal from the accredited list (I believe they are back now, because they corrected their shortcomings).

I have now UNINSTALLED Prime Casino, and if I am to reinstall, they will have to start walking AWAY from Rogue City.

I am somewhat concerned that there is a trend emerging, with this "no can do" list growing bigger all the time. Casinomeister has been around over 10 years, and is well respected in the industry, so WHY are parts of the industry running away from here, and hiding behind "no can do" and ineffective regulators. This is a sign of the industry itself evolving backwards to the "cowboy" era of the late 90's and very early 2000's, and yet things should be going the other way as the industry matures, and more countries consider formal legislation to legalise and control it more effectively.
There is a risk that these governments will react to this backward evolution to the "cowboy" era by some casino companies by themselves going backwards, and seeking to ban the industry because of the lack of consumer protection this will result in.
None of this is going to help the cause in the USA, where the industry is struggling to convince senators that they really can be trusted not to screw players, and have put the past behind them.

Thanks Vinyl, that's very helpful information. There are lots of MG casinos out there to play at, I think I'll uninstall Prime too.
