i am new here.

i was reading about Ecocard, and because it was mentioned
as a possible funding method for US players, i looked them up.
Ecocard says no US customers can fund internet gaming.

well, can anyone recommend a pre paid card that works for
online gaming?

or, any other US customer funding methods?

many thanks, love the site.

a follow up,

when a pre paid card t/c says
card cannot be used to fund internet gaming,

do they mean "no" with a wink, and that means yes,
or do they really mean "NO" and go away?

thanks for a great site, still wandering around.

i hope i can help out in the future.
i will certainly report back.

it seems that info on prepaid cards, which process gaming deposits,
is somewhat not up to date.
i related the above info on reading about Ecocard on this site.
and that info was no longer useful.

a couple of very friendly CMM's have been helpful.

i expected that this site would have lots of info on
all aspects of the gaming industry, and it does.
with so many industry people who visit this site,
i am surprised at the lack of general info on prepaid cards.
it does seem surprising that the casino folks are not making
this info transparent.

if i cannot easily find info on how to deposit,
and the online casino is not spelling it out in detail for US customers,
then that seems puzzling.

or, do the casinos really not want US customers?

thanks again to the CMM's who posted helpful tips.

The problem w/ info in America section unless things have changed -new members are not allowed to view until after they have been around awhile.

Good point! Can new members use pm's? I don't think I'll broadcast which one worked for me last week, but when I was looking for one that would work, all I had to do was Google a search for "Gift cards that work at online casinos" , and I found a wealth of information. It's no big secret I guess, and I'm very surprised that any of them still actually work. Hope I didn't just jinx myself!

Can we move this to America the Beautiful please?!

I never understood the reason to move these topics to ATB. I see alot of people like to PM this topic back and forth. But in all honesty to you really know the person on the other end? You could be still giving out that information to law enforcement posing as a member of this forum. I bet they know all about QT, which visa cards work, WU, MG, etc.

No need to hide it...Just be prepared if they ever decided to come knocking on your door.

Is it illegal? I really didn't think it was.

Well, online gambling is illegal in 9 States and there are two others where its so grey its deemed to be by ppl like MG. I agree that the powers-that-be probably know what does/doesn't work, although I still think its best to keep it out the limelight simply because it only serves to put another nail in the coffin.

I'll move this to ATB in the next day or so just for archiving.

I know that Nevada is illegal, and I think Washington and New Jersey might be, but I thought the others were very vague in their interpretation. I think it has more to do with the transferring of money more than it does to the act of placing a wager. I could be wrong of course!

well, has anybody ever heard of any body, any where, in the last five years,
getting a knock on the door from tptb for internet gaming?
even in the 9 US states where they specifically prohibit internet gaming?

i would bet you cannot find one.

although, with local jurisdictions getting desperate for more revenue,
could this be something wicked coming your way?
