Since I yet have the privledge to post on PAB, I felt compelled to speak up in some form or fashion with regard to the incident involving INTERTOPS.
First off, I find their actions not only incredulous, but unscrupulous as well.It seems that we as Players have absolutely no leg to stand on when we expierence a situation such as this.
NOTE: This does not imply that MAXD doesn't do a fantastic job when it comes to resolving the PAB'S submitted. Quite the contrary. However, We as members of Casinomeister can possibly do our part as well.
Since I have become a member at Casinomeister, I have come to trust your recommendations and insight. This is what I would call "ACCREDITED".
That being said..............My suggestion for eliminating future incidents as this is to.........
Create our own : CENTRAL INFO/DOCUMENTATION FILE
This file would contain all the pertinent and necessary info most casinos require for withdrawel.(Member's discretion to participate).
This info would only be shared with the casinos that have been accredited by Casinomeister........All others at your own risk!!
The casinos involved would then have a link to Casinomeister(CENTRAL FILE) to confirm that you are a member in good standing, and all necessary documents are forwarded heretofore.
Now, before you start to rip me apart, please understand I merely have provided a general format for all to consider and refine.
I don't know the legal formalities, the feasibility, or even the interest for that matter.
I do know that I would like to go through the documentation exercise one time, and one tome only @ Casinomeister (ACCREDITED), rather than many, many times WITH EACH AND EVERY CASINO I PLAY!!!!!
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I don't really understand what you are saying.

Is your suggestion that instead of submitting all our documents to a casino each time we sign up, we submit them to Max or Bryan who store them all for us, and then the casino contacts them to receive these documents?

Firstly, I can't imagine either of them would have the time.
Secondly, they would need somewhere secure to store them.
Thirdly, they would need to consider what could happen if this 'central info' file was to be hacked.
And forthly, I doubt they would want to handle personal documents such as these for whatever reason. Even in the PAB such details aren't requested.

But fundamentally, why not just do what I do. On my desktop sits a folder 'Casino Docs'. Inside it contains scans of my driving license, credit/debit card, and a couple of bank statements or utility bills. When I sign up at a casino, I can quite simply forward on this folder to whom it may concern.

Job done.

As I said,
It was just a suggestion of some sort.
This was not suggested to create more work for Bryan or Max, by any stretch of the imagination.
I do know this, that if enough interest is generated thru the membership, there could be ways to do things to protect us also.
As for workload for Max, I would imagine if we could come up with something feasible, it would alliviate some of the PAB'S he has to contend with....ie. If you decide to go outside the realm of our accredited casinos......DON'T bring it back to Max to resolve, or even look in to. He's not our MOMMY. GET IT!!!!
I'm not suggesting we reinvent the wheel, just look at certain spokes that need adjusted, and come up with some viable solutions.
ADAGE: It doesn't matter how the Jackass got in the ditch, JUST GIT HIM OUT.
Thanks for your participation, I appreciate it.

I do the same with a file also, but please keep in mind that I am 1 individual with absolutely no "CLOUT", but imagine if we ALL were as ONE, under the umbrella of CASINOMEISTER.

no matter what conclusion any 1 came too it would not be good enough for the casino's
I dont like the casino's knowing my personal info let alone some 1 else

No Offense to any 1 here

you are thinking the impossible

if people would just go ahead an email their documents in when they open a account then there should be no problem course we are talking casino's

Cindy

by the way your sense of typing reminds me of some 1 maybe its from another forum

Good Luck

Ok, allow me to suggest an example.

Somehow, this idea is agreed upon. Everyone who wants to be a part of this uploads their documents and other details. And this 'central info file' is hacked. Someone's hit the jackpot. They have cards, addresses, absolutely everything they need.

Who's at fault? If CM held these, are you going to sue him? Are the banks going to sue him to compensate for all the money they lost?

I understand your logic, but it is completely unfeasible IMO. And unnecessary too.

First off..Cindy-I am not sure what you are implying with regards to how I type with a simile of someone in another forum. If it was meant to be derogatory, then I take offense, and suggest you read your own "QUOTE". If it wasn't, read it anywayLOL. It's a good one.
Please understand folks, I'm not trying to create any animosities by what I have merely suggested, possibly to come up with a viable solution.
Kmay-I don't disagree with you, and the example you provided, but please keep in mind the same could happen with the info you provide the casino directly now, and with absolutely no recourse, if push came to shove.
There is also such a thing as a Hold Harmless Agreement.....Please, again, just my thoughts, that's all...Nothing more.
Lastly, I may be a Newbie to this sight, but FAR from that when it comes to online casino gambling. I have no blogs, no forums or anything related. I gamble. That's what I do. I just happen to think a great many minds can come up with ideas to make our gaming life a bit more secure, and more enjoyable. That's one reason I joined Casinomeister, cause I liked what I saw, and how things were being run, and if one feels that I'm out of line, then I do humbly apologize. That was not the intent, whatsoever. Thanks........

No need to apologise :) we are just debating that is all.

But...if this happened because of a casino (unlikely in my opinion unless an employee went rogue) it would be a far bigger deal than just say 50 players who had given details to an 'administrator' shall we say.

As for the HHA, I can't see Bryan wanting to get involved. But you never know. I'm sure he will read this and post his comments. But the problem with an indemnification is that if he starts this up, and basically says 'I hold no liability if something goes wrong' it isn't really going to give us members much of an assurance!

Please though never feel the need to apologise! We all have different opinions and that is good - it would be no fun if everyone thought the same on here.
