pogo.com question/problem

Pogo recently brought back Word Riot, its a game that I use to play all the time. Infact, that is why I started to gamble online, because pogo took it away.

They brought it back and I bought it. Iplayed for a couple of weeks and they did some updates. I am now getting this "patching error" I have contacted them and have tried everything. I ran as admin, I did various things that were suppose to solve the problem and it didnt

Anyone have a suggestion. It is a widespread problem and I dont wanna wait a week for them to get back to me lol

there's lots of bots in yahoo's rooms. don't think i ever went on pogo, so i am of little help. i can never find anyone to play in yahoo games, unless it's an actual buddy from yahoo or msn and we decide to go there for a game. guess i might have to try pogo. it does sound kind of childish of a name. ooh i should go back to that other game i tried to get folks from here to play. gotta take a couple days off gambling, wait for some payouts to roll in... nevermind, just checked and i think they've come now. tax refund, paycheque, and gambling winnings sums up to $1500 plus my visa paid back in full, just in the last 4 days. that's roughly my tuition payment due july 8. before i blog on any more, i should go read the other threads.

its far from a childish site. They have alot of games that need a brain. Not only that, you can win money. They have Jackpots on some of the games and if you win the game your playing the reels spin, if it lands on JP , you get the money. I personally know a few people who won and got their money

I dont play for the money though. I love wordriot because it's a fun interactive game. They have so many things to do on that site. In fact, your not suppose to sign up unless your 18 on the games that have JP'S. Ive played WR with Lawyers, Doctors, Business people, moms, students etc..

Ive made friends and have met them IRL. I belong to an MSN group that is private from one of the rooms in Word Riot. WE have been together everyday chatting and posting since 2002.

I dont think anyone should judge something until they check it out fully and keep an open mind. Just because the name isnt "cool" doesnt mean it's not a fun good site.

i cheerfully withdraw anything that rubbed you the wrong way, i meant no slag. and from a marketing perspective it is an ideal name. brief, memorable, easy to spell, identifiable with having fun.

I accept your apology because I really like you SOrry I got a bit out of shape, Im just a bit sensitive about the site and the ppl that play on there because Weve really been there for each other over the years. Infact, A friend of mine who played WordRiot died in Jan, I made apost about her. SHe left behind 2 kids (one being 2 months old) and all the people gathered donations totalling over $4K for her husband because she worked and he depended on her salary
Anyway, once you play word riot, you will get hooked if you pick the right room. I was like you at first Happy, I thought "Im in my 40's, why would I play here?" LOL..then I found all of these smart funny nice people to chat with while playing.
