During last 2 months im down over 2k to playtech casinos without single withdrawal.
And i play only bets 50cents-1e...

Anyone else experiencing insanely low payout on playtech games.
I mean it takes thousands of spins to get feature and features pay absolutely nothing.
I used to love great blue, captains treasure pro, irish luck, penguin vacation but after these couple of months i dont touch playtech ever again.

The 4 games you mentioned are all very high variance games.... They can be streaky for a long time!!

That pretty much sums up most people's experiences with Playtech. At first they seem like some of the best games around, good graphics etc but after prolonged play you realize that they are coin-guzzlers. Playtime is also extremely short on their slots.

Like you mentioned, some of their older games are outstanding, like Great Blue, Marylin Monroe, Penguin Vacation etc but they are pretty much near-identical and mental variance. Like yesterday, deposited £20 at a multi-platform site, put on Marylin and bust out in about three minutes on minimum bets, wheras £10 lasted me about four hours on Adventure Palace the day before.

I think their Playtech's main draw is their Marvel games which are geared towards the progressive jackpot, forget playing them for any other reason :(

Mind you, I still love Ironman 2 for some reason but I would never dream of playing it again with actual money!

Think I must be the lucky one with Playtech lately - already have a couple of withdrawals in place from playing Playtech games (namely Spiderman and Great Blue). Managed to get lucky on Spiderman and get two features up within a handful of spins, both resulting in the City Chase and a nice return on my deposits!

I really enjoy Playtech games. There was a thread recently, be careful with Marilyn Monroe, apparently it's RTP is quite low, but it can be a very enjoyable game.

Gameplay is FAST on Playtech, so you get more spins per hour on most of the games, something that can chew through a bankroll pretty fast.

If you take bonuses, some are actually rather bad. It can be hard to meet playthrough even with a good hit or two.

I played Club Gold for a long time very regularly when it was Playtech. (No longer the same casino... I do not trust them). Even if you took away my one remarkable huge win at crazy betting, I was still ahead over hundreds of deposits.

Take a little breather from them for a bit. You will enjoy them more (even if you lose) if you are not feeling so frustrated.

I've ALWAYS experienced piss poor returns for PT slots which is why I never touch them these days and have not for years!

ONLY time I've seen anything half decent if there's a mountain of un-achievable WR involved, not that I'm suspicious in the slightest

Much better and fairer providers out then IMO, in fact all other providers!!

Drvegas bangs me 100% out just about every other day at least & they have alot of PT, I get no where with the slots

Playtech slots are cold 80% of the time but they do go on hot streaks and they can pay really well, probably better than any other software.

A few days ago I was nearing the end of a WR and was getting bonus on every slot I played. Then I had a mental breakdown and decided to play a Marvel slot(horrid slots), tried Spiderman on £0.50 spins and I lost £50 in 110 spins.

Then there is Virtue Fusion, which Playtech own, these slots are even more streakier. They 'can' pay great also but more often than not get your arse handed to you really quickly.

I have been playing at Playtech slots for 6 years and never had a Marvel Jackpot , at MG I've been on the Jackpot wheel about 20 times in the same time frame.

To be fair, MG jackpot wheel often ends with the player winning ~10 euros so it kind of makes sense that it appears more often I suppose. Then again, I never had either - I prefer NetEnt's jackpot games, they at least give you false hope, what with jackpot rounds being quite common and not "randomly triggered" like in MG or Playtech's Marvel games.

As for Playtech, I still like their games, but it does seem they just keep getting colder for me

I suppose they are higher but I've probably hit the (minor) £100 on the MG more than the (mini) £10 and I'm a low roller, actually hit the jackpot wheel 3 times on 500 0.30 spins last Sunday. The wheel slowed right down to a near stop onto the Major jackpot for 60k and then a small breeze came from nowhere and pushed into the mini.

Always looking for an excuse to pull this from the archives, a few years back but my biggest win on Playtech. :D

I've always had pretty poor returns on Playtech slots, especially when it's on auto spin. Recently played Iron Man 2 on €0.10 line bet with a total bet of €2.50 and won nothing. When I played Blade, that's where I won €10.
I guess Playtech's bread & butter is their progressive slot games. But I doubt anyone will ever win the jackpot without shelling too much money.

:drink:

The playtime is not shorter than with other software. It just depends on when they are hot or not and what variance they have.

I'm currently having the shortest and worst playtime with MG, although i used to have super long playtime there. And next month it's maybe NetEnt.

A low variance slot at Playtech can give you the same playtime as a low variance slot from MG.

downhill continues..
I think its been now about 1000e without features from great blue or penguin vacation...
Im 100% sure playtech is not what it used to be

You do know that great blue is a very high variance machine, due it its big potential payouts, Not that it pays out much, My last feature it paid peanuts, The amount of £20 with £20 bonus I have stuck in coral and dr vegas is unbelievable and the whale washed me out in minutes must be between 500 - 1k without bonus,

Also alot of game providers does seem to have switched the button, Saying that I had a good run on thunderstruck the other day after nearly getting wiped out on IR, Also IGT is another money eater, there are two many cloned machines there bringing out, Realistic is another one, I do not know if they tried making theses games look like old skool or just some idiot designers.

Only playtech games I like is Marilyn Monroe the rest really hate me and my low bet sizes. Have never had a winning experience on any of their other slots - last time I spent about $200 AUD on Heart of the Jungle and got absolutely nothing back except I made inroads into unlocking higher level bonus rounds.

I am currently experiencing somewhat of a long losing spell (20+ deposits) on novomatic slots - in particular my favourite novomatic game 'rumpel wildspin'. I can't even trigger the bonus round and have spent maybe $300 AUD past 2-3 weeks on it - without a single bonus round :( Clearly someone is getting all the goodness from those sticky wilds but its not me hehehe ...

That is how it goes though its a cycle I've been through and I am kind of OK with it. Like hoff said its all in the moment whether its hot or not any slot from any provider can be that slot that gives you the massive wins.

kinda milestone here.. just hit 5000 spins without feature on great (not so great) blue... maybe i get one in next 5k spins :p
