But why would people even risk getting their casino accounts banned for using a VPN?

I would never risk using a VPN just to play blocked games. Not worth the risk even if their is slot providers which there is I would love to play. Just my 2 cents anyway.

I mean I know some casinos do allow VPN. But still those casinos that do not then you obviously run the risk of getting your accounts banned.

Their systems will log IP location info and if your account gets accessed from countries that is different to the country you have in your address details for your account. That will get cross referenced and that will trigger an alert and the system will automatically block or suspend your account.

I recently asked VS if they allow VPN usage in the newly accredited thread. The rep said that they can as long as it is a VPN server in the same country you are located in. So hence if I did use a vpn I could only use a VPN server in the same country as I am in which is the UK.

Obviously not all casinos have great automatic systems that alert and do automatic blocks or suspensions in place. But rather they might have a system that alerts the staff and they have to manually suspend or block those accounts.

Another reasons I think pretty much most casinos have those type of systems is not for VPN usage as such but merely because they want to protect players accounts from being hacked into and unauthorised access. So if a players account was to get hacked and logged into from a different country then it would trigger their security systems and alert staff or automatically lock/suspend/block account until you speak to CS. To confirm it was you or not. Unless a hacker knew which country that account they was trying to access was in for example the UK before hand. Then if they used a VPN for that country then they might still be able to login without the systems being alerted. So all being said. I still think that Casinos should just ban the use of VPN's for players. Because it is also risking putting players accounts at risk. As systems might not get triggered if it was a hacker.

So yeah my 2 cents :)

Yeah I know there is some casinos that turn a blind eye. But I still stand by what my last statement in my edited post above says about all casinos should just ban the VPN usage to protect themselves and to protect the players accounts as well. P:S I added more to my above post :D

Not really. It would bring unwarranted attention to the casinos that allow it.

VPN is fine if you have permission from the casino/management.

Yeah I dont know what Im going to do here. I sent them two emails in the past week and I just keep getting they are looking into it. Im kind of stuck because if this goes on too long, do I call my bank and ask them to recall the transaction which may get my account in trouble?

I dunno but these guys are pretty horrible to deal with which isnt very comforting. But if nothing by mid next week it looks like I will have to take some sort of action. I find it quite scary they just took funds out of my account and havent returned it yet. What if I was a high roller and it was 5k. Oh too bad? What if I was financially strapped and that $120 was gas money to get to work or a doctors appt?

PLayolg seems to have better assistance when speaking with a Supervisor, just sayin.... The front line staff seems ill equipped to handle any query at all. Example, have had issues loading SG digital since NOVEMBER...could not access them at all between Dec 2nd and mid Jan....one 5 minute convo with a supervisor blew away the trail of emails six miles long...and no update ever from CS....yet the games suddenly worked again.
Hats off to adding Bruce Lee tho….cannot wait!

Scary - and unlike the prepaids I normally use online where there WOULDNN'T be funds to take, I use my bank card here
 
I just got my account all verified so I can finally play some WMS and crappy IGT games on PlayOLG. I do have a reloadable prepaid CC from my bank that I rarely keep money on and I wasn't planning on using it ( For PlayOLG that is), but now I think it would be a good idea since there is no way I would be double charged if it happened to me.

let me know if it works - i know vanilla mastercads dont, hence why i used my bank card
but id look at using loadable bank cards of thats the case

I have no choice but to disable that function, I cant have that nonsense going on where they think they can just help themselves whenever and then take a million years to pay it back.

I know the casino has been shit since its opened but its obviously going to be pretty full of games I want to play in the future

Playing exclusively at Doug’s Casino hasn’t been profitable. Zero cashouts. My balances have lasted a week but can’t get the big win. This is my worst start to a year since 2015.

Sadly, I won’t return to the European casinos due to what’s left to play there so I’ll have to live or die on SG/IGT. Not like I’d fare any better on Net Entertainment or BTG if they were still available to us.
 
I have an update here about my situation.

I am struggling to get my Prepaid CC Visa registered on PlayOLG. I tried to get it set up for a payment method, but the site doesn't want to register it. I then go on to the prepaid card website and I realize that the address information on it since I need it in order to use it at online places is not correct. I then attempt to correct this and I get as far as the site wanting to send a "one-time code" to my email so the changes would be accepted and it keeps erroring out so it never sends an email. Now I will have to call them and try to get it changed over the phone since the website is broken. :/

This screenshot on PlayOLG also doesn't bode well for me even if I can get the address information fixed on my CC... ( I put a purple outline on the text in question )

To make things worse... My current bankcard is about to expire so I can't even use that in the meantime. This will be frustrating for the next few days. GRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Yeah, it was much easier back in 2015 to join or decide how to deposit. I have a Pre Paid reload Canada Post Visa but there’s no point in using it since it expires on January 1, 2020. I’ll just stick with MasterCard BMO debit.

Not like Doug’s Casino is a must-visit. We only delay the inevitable when we gamble there.
 
They added three more slots today in Spartacus, Icy Wilds and King of Macedonia. Icy Wilds is one I was hoping to see added as it has lots of potential, as does King of Macedonia. Spartacus is another clone of KISS; I would have preferred a Monopoly slot, a Wizard of Oz slot or a Black Knight slot.

I tried to find some info and all I can see is where to file a privacy complaint so I dont think that applies. I obviously need help from a 3rd party now because they simply do not care to fix this and return the money.

That sucks that they are so slow... I am in a similar situation, but not with money... yet! PlayOLG didn't like some parts of my account info and suspended my account until it was fixed. I went on live chat over a week ago and had the issue resolved and I need to wait until they put the info in and reopen my account. Hasn't happened yet. GRRRRR
 
I trust this casino to get paid and that sort of stuff but in terms of other things, I dont know. They worry me. They tried to accuse me that I used the $120 on a playolg app to buy lottery tickets. Well I dont have an app and I dont buy lottery tickets so um no. Once I got aggressive with them they realized the error or whatever it was. But after 40 days your conclusion is oh she just bought stuff through the app, we cant see it or track it but we will just say that for no reason at all.

I asked the manager "do you see in my history folder a deposit was made? Do you see any play history? He answered. No. So I said then who do you think you are to accuse me of such bs when even your own files show that isnt true. Nice try, want me to call a lawyer? 2 days later it was sorted.

I hope to hear of some better behavior from these guys in the future right now I am not a fan!

Newer releases seem to have lower TRTPs generally.

Lockinlove's recent issue does nothing to boost my confidence.

Maybe sometime next decade if they add BTG, I might give it another go.

They have certainly been trying to add games at least. Before Rhino, Monte etc that casino was damn sad. At least now they have like 5 games worth playing.

I like rhino, monte, bruce lee, cleopatra and a couple more are playable but if I deposit and after I play like 7 of their slots im like what do I do now lol
 
I finally got my account info all fixed and have successfully made my first deposit. I couldn't use my Prepaid CC that was issued by my bank, so I ended up using my Visa debit. As long as I don't get doubled charged... It will have to do. I will be streaming this session in a couple of days since I have used the first part of the welcome bonus. Beating a 10x the bonus wagering should be fun! :)
 
Hours ago, I streamed my session and it took almost 4 hours! The start was rough, but then the hits started coming in... I will have to fight Montezuma and Raging Rhino again to get a bonus, but on RR, this dropped in the basegame...

Come on Playolg!!! I have only made 1 deposit on this site and have not even played in play mode for months till this eve.
I tried new wheel of fortune slot which is crappy IGT ( Why play olg?) I get 3 wild reels with 2 premium symbols and paid less than 20 x bet this is why I stay away from the crappy site. We deserve better and makes me so made I just want to tell everyone in Ontario to stay from this site. Wish hundreds of us would go down to OLG head office downtown Toronto and protest and educate other Canadians we have choices and that Playolg is nothing but bottom of a scum pile.
