Perspectives Weekly Webcast 09/12/08

shit like that makes me want to be ANYWHERE but the USA. I'm almost embarrassed to be American when the DoJ pulls this crap.

OK....

One thing.....

Shouldn't GW and the APCW be CONTACTING everyone that is owed money????

Why shouldn't GW go down the list of people they owe money to and CONTACT THEM? :)

Take acepedro for example. He hasn't been here in months, so how is he supposed to know about what's going on? He finally gave up on ever seeing his money, so he left. Does that mean that the new owners don't have to pay him the $50K he's owed? Of course not...

If GW wants to set things right, they'd be proactive about getting everyone paid, not just those that are lucky enough to be "in the know" and come forward for their money.

As far the US Justice Dept. goes.... This is what happens when you fill the highest law enforcement jobs in the land with political partisans.

All the Justice Dept is doing is following the Republican Party Platform... Just like the good little Gestapos they are...

but doesnt c/m have acepedro's personal info to get in touch with him, im thinking this is the guy that was owed so much money by them and c/m had a payment arrangement made and they (rogues) broke it, could be wrong on this, when i listened to the video, j todd did say there was a place on his link if anyone had any money issues with those casinos(g.w) they need to come forward and list it, if i heard the video correctly.if you dont speak out you wont be heard and if your not heard nothing will get done...................laurie

Yes, but Any of the Virtual casinos involved that owe people money DO have a players full (offline) contact info. There's definitely a way for them to get in touch with players that are owed money, so there's no reason they shouldn't.

The way these players were left hanging without getting their money, being told they'll never get paid in some cases, do you actually think they're actively searching youtube or google for the apcw or new information about their money? Of course not, you can't beat a dead horse, and most, if not all, of them simply gave up long ago.

One last side note regarding this:

Do you really think EVERY player that is owed money actually knows what a forum is, let alone visit CM? How are they supposed to know that "Clean up efforts" are underway and they might actually get paid, after all?

If anyone does come forward, I'd guess that it's a very small percent. That's why GW has to be proactive in paying players and not just sit back and wait for players to come to them.

Is there a reponse yet to lauriejims post? Whether here or at the Acpw? Could someone direct me?

Thank you.
