Paypal vs Debit card

Paypal funds are transferred instantly into one's bank account without a fee for starters, and is often electronically-verified beforehand, unlike debit cards which take between 1-2 working days to receive payment to.

Not to mention the verification hoops of shame casinos will put you through just to disprove your criminal intent.

I'd imagine it also looks better on bank statements if payments are transferred to and from Paypal, as opposed to GambleSlotsLucky - £50

Only obvious advantage to debit cards might be that should something go awry, there'll be a far better CS team in place at all hours of the day, with likely some form of 'having your back'.

Anything like e-wallets, Cryptos etc is by and large well-run but not immune to leaving customers hanging if things go wrong, so there is that to consider.

I really struggle with Paypal.
its beyond difficult to use and utilise.
the basic bank card is a much better option, unless you need credit or a mortgage in the future.
paypal hides your gambling, which for some is necessary.
but be warned, you need the intellect of a Philadelphia lawyer to work Paypal.

I know Skrill and a few others are taking SoW to new extremes, though I've yet to have any issues with PP in the 15+ years I've used them. That may be subject to change, who knows.

Skrill make you feel like you're partaking in the Krypton Factor just to log in, plus have atrocious fees, so they're dead to me.

Debit card is the most assured method still, as once authorized I've yet to encounter any gyp. Paypal and co are great for the most part but still a 'middleman' of sorts, so I might not be too enthused using them for anything over £50.

But it's my port of call when gambling, as I've had no negative experiences thus far

With the casinos who use Visa Direct. L&L sites, for instance.
Debit card payments can be in your bank account within minutes of being processed.

Yes. Was shocked when I cashed £700 from Paddy Power to debit card the other night...in bank account within 15 minutes!!

This is the standard all casinos should employ with refunds to cards.

Many are starting to mate and it’ll be a game changer.
the l and l group do, also sky.
Why wait silly pending periods for your own money when you don’t have too.

Places like 32Red will really need to up their game soon on the withdraw front. Last time I withdrew from there it was still 24 hours pending...shocking.

Well it's of course a great thing that debit card payments can be that swift, and if a regular thing I'd probably favour that method for the aforementioned bank 'safety', and be all over it.

Though I'm fairly certain many casinos could have chosen to employ this payment haste for YEARS but have opted not to do so, for obvious reasons. So I think this'll be the exception, not the norm

But then you'll see people just depositing at the fast pay out casinos. The others will be left behind. No-one wants to wait for their money.

Well like you said, this is the reason why the likes of 32Red will fall further down the pecking order.

1-2 days payment seems to be default, adding another 24-48 hours on top is archaic
