Party Casino- Dan's Cash Bonanza

Hello, Party Casino has a promotion called the Dan's Cash Bonanza where you need to login to your account on the 15th,16th, and 17th of the month if you earned atleast 250 partypoints the previous month and you win a guaranteed "prize", $25-$5000.

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this promotion. Is it a random prize or is it somesort of cashback program. I can't see Party Poker giving $5000 to some freeroller who deposited $20 bucks just to qualify for the bonus.

Does anyone have any idea if it is based on your number of deposits, size of deposits, money lost, money wagered, or if it is really random?

Any experience or info would be much appreciated.

To earn 250 party points, you need to wager $2,500 to 50,000, depending on games played. The expected loss is in the neighborhood of $100. I expect that you will have a far greater chance of getting a $25 prize than a $5000 one, so the casino will likely come out ahead in the end. However, there may be someone who wins the maximum $5000 prize from just a $20 deposit, as you stated.

got a $200 win from this promotion.. but made a total of deposits around 1k..

Thanks a lot for the responses guys. I'm not looking to deposit for the sole purpose of this bonus, but rather to cash in on last month's play.

I deposited more than 3 grand. And lost more than 3 grand. I had atleast 2,000 partypoints and must have wagered thousands upon thousands if not hundreds of thousands.

Anyone else who has any other experiences or info would be greatly appreciated.
