Flutter Entertainment the new name for Paddy Power/Betfair is to join forces with Star Group the owners of Sky Bet to make a betting giant.

The two companies have 6 and 7 million customers between them.

In the most they will just find they have 90% the same customers in the UK, and all but the mugs will be limited to pennies

To be fair, Skybet are about the only place I can get bets on and not be restricted. Betfair sportsbook is a joke, I've been limited there to 20p bets on some types of bets, and I'm subject to the premium charge to give an idea of how much I used them previously.
Coral started limiting me last night on football, tried to put a £20 treble on the champions league, was offered £3 ffs. I did it on SB instead, and before doing it I tried different stakes, and I could have put £800 on there!
