Dear Rival please give me my stats at your Casinos.
Also explain the reel length and true odds of hitting a scatter on each of the reels in each of your islot games both the bonus and freespin symbol
Finally please explain the percentage of payout of each Islot that goes on bonus and freespin features.

Dear Simon Says please post my stats from my last deposit.

I was very unsure whether to make another deposit at a Rival since their slots are so very bad and unrealistically streaky but like a fool I gave them One more chance.
$50 at 27c a spin=playtime between 5 and 10 minutes LMAO One bonus round paying aboutX10 bet and free spins paying um 18c and this is pretty much what happens every deposit at Rival except if I take a large deposit bonus where I will win in the first half of wagering and then get less than 50% return thereafter.
Live chat says 96/97% on slots so how is I get below this every single time Rival and not just below well below!
I have informed live chat I will be posting this and to respond here with my stats.

Rusty,

This is exactly why on nearly all occasions, I need at least a 50% bonus when playing slots. To win something at most Rival slots you either need 2-3 expanding wilds as in Scary or a feature during free spins as in Hobo's Hoard, Cleo's coins or Granny's Attic. Otherwise, the features/free spins are pretty much worthless and your bankroll is eaten up quickly.

One thing you should consider trying is hopping to other slots once you win something substantial at a certain slot. Worked for me when I took 200% bonuses at Absolute Slots and TIV. That's as good as it gets because you will then receive no more promos from them not too long after you cashout.

Thanks ChuChu the last deposit was 100% bonus, you would think you could get some playtime at 27c a spin.
My problem is not just the variance but the streakiness and overall poor returns especially on Islots, you either hit a few features in quick succession or not at all.
Switching games after a win is probably a good idea but does not fit in with slots being random and having no memory nor does the anomalous data I have.

Islots? That's where the problem lies. I have never done well at any of the i-slots. Even if I did get the feature at ATRT2, the payout was pretty crap bar for a single occasion. I would prefer Scary to it because I could possibly get 1 1000-1 return for it if I hit the 3wilds.

Try to base your play on the Video slots. Once you get a feature during free spins like 3 ships in Gobblers, then run to another slot. Normally works for me.

I think you are right because I have had horrible sessions on scary but at least I have actually hit on that although it was when I had a large WR requirement hanging over me naturally.
That said I assume Islots are supposed to have the same payout 95/96%?

Rusty, please can you tell us which slots you were playing in your posts? Ta!

The only 2 iSlots that I rate as much good are Hole in Won (but even that can run dry for 100's of spins), and the new Baby Boomer's (only played it 3 times - and won every time, so my opinion of it may be rather biased!)

The others I've played (Bank Heist, ATRT1 & 3, Art Heist & Cosmic Quest) I agree with you - money suckers. Although Cosmic can be quite good if you get your fair share of features, I can't really figure out where ANY decent wins could come from on the others. :(

I definitely would not recommend playing Scary Rich to anyone hoping to make a profit, only to those who love being totally wound up by a money sucking vacuum while being teased into thinking the 'big one' is coming soon...

As for switching games when ahead - as you know that IMHO is the only way to have a realistic chance of meeting WR & cashing out a profit. Runs of good luck rarely last as long as runs of bad.

Ok, I am going to play devils advocate here. This is not a rant, rave, slam against anyone. It just hit me when I read this post on how many people keep asking for stats, etc etc...

Does anyone but me (now that I just had a lightbulb moment) see how ridiculous this request would be if you asked a B&M casino? I know one can see wins/loss statements online for them but to ask a casino for reel info etc...this is a little much, don't you think?

We would be laughed out of the casino and probably banned if we kept dogging them in this area. They do not have to do this especially because online casinos are non regulated...

I always like to know what I am up against when playing blackjack and other card games which the decks used should be posted as MG does but that is as far as I would consider a casino has to go in my book to prove anything....IMO only..

Sure a few would like to make spreadsheets, etc to see just where they sit at on each session, but to damand such a thing is a little over the top IMO...Just curious to see if any one else thinks this is a strange request (the stats etc) when an online casino doesn't have to give squat, some do it out of courtesy (MG and such).

Hope I am making a little sense here and getting across my curiosity the right way..

KK: It was cosmic quest and my return, since SimonSays have neglected to reply thus far, was 34%

Silcnlayc: I sort of see what you are saying but in the absence of proper regulation we have precious little info on the slots it is pretty much all we can do to try and find out if the game is operating properly.
If all is above board there should be absolutely no reason Rival should not be happy to give this information to put customers minds (mine anyway) at rest.
It is fine for them to say a slot is 97% but when you get returns like I have you at least want to know how this 97% is arrived at.
I made 280 spins and hit the bonus Once and the Free spins Once which is probably not far off the norm but still only got 34% payout lowrolling 27c a spin off $50 bankroll.
I also made a similar thread after my last deposit at a Rival that had a similar results and these Two are not the only times.
That is enough to make anyone curious about how 97% is reached.

SimonSays and Rival are aware of this thread and I hope they respond to discuss their Islots and payouts.
THIRTYFOUR % :o

Thanks for that info!

That return seems ludicrously low!
I'm just wondering - what formula are you using to arrive at that figure?

I would use; (1+(loss/wagered))x100

Using that formula, I had a return of 82% when I played it at Sloto last week - and I thought that was crap!
(Wagered $451, lost $80).

Here's my log for that session:-

Old Attachment (Invalid)

I've found a way to publish my whole log (showing how stupid I am, but how I got lucky & made $500 profit at Sloto). If anyone is interested I'll post the entire log...
;)

I managed 280 spins at 27c before zeroing out=$75.6 total played
I started with $50 so returns from $75.6=$25.6(to make zero balance)
25.6 of 75.6 is around 34%

Thanks for that info!

(Apologies for dragging up an old thread but have a question for KK)

Hi KK,
Just curious how you do your spreadsheets to keep track of your slot action?
Do you manually log every spin as you play in excell or have you coded a macro that somehow logs every spin you make into a worksheet? If so how is this possible and could I pinch the VB code? :p;):D

I would be really interested in logging my play but am too lazy and 'into the game' to stop and log every spin manually! lol

One more question if I may....?
You're very internet savvy so figured I'd ask if you know of a good program for capturing multiple screen shots(if one exists) so that I can take multiple shots(say a really good set of free games happens and I want to capture every spin in succession by pressing 'PrtSc') and then edit/paste etc... them later on. I guess a clipboard for screenshots would be what I mean?

Cheers
Gremmy

Nope - I'm not that clever!
I have a "template" spreadsheet and I just manually fill in all the data while I'm playing.
(I presume you've seen some examples in my blogs? If not,
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
The blue text is what I have to type in, everything else is automatic).
Obviously some fields are self-calculating (amount wagered, won/lost, etc.) and I always use autoplay (if available) and just log "blocks" of spins, or until a feature is hit.
It might seem like a lot of work, but once you're up to speed it only takes a few seconds for each entry.

Nope, sorry - not that clever either! :o
I don't know of any program like that - but it would be really cool - if you find one, please let me know!
What I do is take the shots and paste them into the Excel spreadsheet I'm using for my log. Then after the feature is finished I copy them from there to Paint for re-sizing. Not the ideal method, but doing that I can get several shots from one feature if I click quickly enough!

You could have just started a new thread!
Never mind, what's done is done.
