Hey fellas! Hope it's okay for me to post this here.

I'm studying International Business at Jamk University of Applied Sciences and doing my bachelor's thesis on online gambling which has been a passion of mine for nearly half of my life. The survey is about branding and marketing of online casinos and it has 19 questions. It will take only a few minutes to complete. All answers will be anonymous. I sent an email yesterday evening to forum@casinomeister.com asking for a permission but haven't received any answer. So far, I've gotten 4 answers to the survey and 29 members have viewed this post. Pretty much what I was expecting :rolleyes: but huge thanks to those who have already completed the survey! More answers would be appreciated :thumbsup:

You should have waited for the answer. I'm not looking at your survey until I know you have permission, and I guess most people here do the same.

Actually, I sent the message after I had created this thread since I didn't know it was that serious and couldn't find anything against it in the FAQ page. For that, I apologize :oops: I just sent Bryan a message and hopefully he will answer soon.

What worried me was question 18 "Can you connect these slogan with the right brand" - I knew none of those and I've been gambling online since 1994 :eek::eek:
 
I have completed your survey but honestly it looks like more of information gathering for a new casino rather than a research study. Anyways you have to give Bryan some time to respond to your question with regards to permission. He is a very busy man and it can take him a few days to respond which he always does by the way.

Thank you for completing the survey and thank you for your opinion. Aren't surveys always gathering information ? :rolleyes: Anyways, if it looks like that it is perfect for me since that is what I aimed for as partly, this thesis aims to provide some guidance for possible new market entries. Also, I have a deadline to follow so the maximum time I'm going to gather information is approximately a week. Hopefully, Bryan will understand.

My "pet hate" question that these surveys ALWAYS have in them :mad:

5. On average, how much money do you spend on online gambling per month?
What does that mean???
How much do you DEPOSIT?
How much do you LOSE?
And how are you supposed to answer the question when you WIN every month (like I used to several years back)???

Just a stupid question IMHO.

Anyway - survey done! ;)

:D I understand the frustration as the budget of an online gambler can be very volatile :rolleyes: For me, that is just to get an overall feeling of the money involved and differences between players' use of money. Personally, I'd answer the question based on my this year's average amount of money deposited per month.

Since Bryan approved it I have sent in my answers. :thumbsup:

And I think I did recognise some brands but most of the slogans were too generic so would not relate those to any specific brand.


Any way Good Luck with this. :)
