Hi,

I keep getting mails from them, inviting me to take a special 125% welcome bonus.

The terms for this bonus,as for the normal 100% bonus read as follows:

* Any bonus (the Bonus) granted to a Player must be played through 30 times (30x) by such Player before it can be transferred from his Bonus Balance to his Cash Balance (Wagering Requirement).

* Wagering on all games will count towards the Wagering Requirement; however the percentage of Bonus Promotions (purchase included) which may be wagered on certain games will vary as follows*:

100% of the Bonus may be wagered on Slots and Parlor Games;
50% of the Bonus may be wagered on Table Poker, Casino War and Sicbo;
10% of the Bonus may be wagered on Video poker, all Roulettes, all Blackjacks except Classic Blackjack, Craps, Baccarat;
2% of the Bonus may be wagered on Classic Blackjack;
* The Bonus will be credited automatically by our in-house bonus system.

Ok. So does this mean only 10% of the bonus(purchase included !?) can be wagered on Vid.Poker ?

Or does this just mean the guy that made the website is bad in english?

And what means "purchse included" ? WR = (bonus+dep) x 30 ??

I tried to get an explanation via mail, but yet no answer.

I'm pretty sure I read similar terms in another casino but can't remember where it was.

Did someone already played that one or have an explanation?

No, it is bad english, these are what the percentages get cut down to, for instance when it states 50% it means you will have to wager 60x your bonus etc....

Yes, I thought so...

BUT now I got an answer and they said this:

We write to inform you that the wagering requirement is REALLY as the terms say (10% of the bonus may be wagered on video poker, etc...).

I asked this:
Can you explain the terms for your bonus system?
Does the various games, eg Video Poker, just contribute to the wagering requirements with various percentages? Or is it REALLY as the terms say:
For example: 10% of the bonus may be wagered on Video Poker... So I can only play Video Poker for 10 if I got a 100 bonus ?

So hmm, I'm confused. If I have 50bonus, I only can play 5on VP, 1on BJ, 25 on table games. And after that point, I may only play slots ?

But the most funny thing here is, that this time, I clicked on the e-mail link directly in the promo mail (not on the website) that offered the 125%.
The link was named: support@oldchicagocasino, but in fact, it pointed to: support@grandhotelcasino.com. And from them, I got this answer. I wasn't aware of this. Only when I got the answer I saw it..

Bad English coupled with an unwillingness to look up what the terms and conditions actually mean. Normally, these are the contibution percentages to Wagering requirements for MG EZ bonus eg a $10 bet on Casino War counts as $5 towards totalling WRs. The way this is worded means that for a $100 deposit and a $125 bonus, you are only allowed to wager $12.5 on VP and not $12.5 x30 as some may think.

I wont play at this casino or at least I wont take any bonus there with such prevailing terms. They could easily claim you broke their rules if you played $13 of bets in VP using the above illustration.

But when I look at the terms in Italian language, I read:

Si prega di notare che scommesse su determinati giochi contribuiscono in modo diverso per il riscatto del bonus.
Scommesse alle Slots e Parlor Games contribuiscono al 100%.
Scommesse a Table Poker, Casino War and Sicbo contribuiscono al 50%
Scommesse a Video poker, tutti i tipi di Roulette, tutti i tipi di Blackjacks ad eccezione del Classic Blackjack, Craps, Baccarat contribuiscono al 10%.
Scommesse al Classic BlackJack contribuiscono al 2%;

I cant speak Italian, but the word contribuiscono looks like contribute. And that would mean it's just bad English.

I know they use the M/G Bonus system, when I got my signup bonus I could see the bonus balance reduce as I played, looks like a pretty standard M/G system just very poorly worded.

Yes.

Eventually, I got an answer from the RIGHT helpdesk.

They said it is the normal MG system.

But I'm still wondering why Grand Hotel Casino support (support@grandhotelcasino.com) said it's the other way round.. maybe just didn't read my mail carefully.
