Hello,
I am just new to casinomeister i play with some online casino’s for a while now and I got several problems with them every time when i google a problem with a casino, I am getting on the site of casinomeister so that’s why it is most likely to post my problem here.
Last year of August i played with a playtech casino I won a great amount of 1500 euro there. I made a withdraw, and they asked me to go to a notary and get my id and proof of address notarized. I thought it is a little bit crazy for a 1500 withdraw but ok. I did go to a notary paid 150 euro for these documents. And send them over to the Philippines for 20 euro shipments costs within 2 weeks I got an email that my documents are received. I didn’t get a responds what so ever after a 2 weeks more i got an email that only a few notary’s can verify my documents i looked them up, they were all expensive notaries . I took the cheapest one i can find, for 200 euro and did get my documents notarized again.!!

I send them over on 18th of February and on the 28th of February they send me a confirmation email that my documents were received. 3 weeks later i didn’t heard anything from the playtech Casino. I send several of emails with the question if my documents where approved. Finally after a few weeks they answered me. That they where unable to find my documents and I did need to notarize my documents again. ( I think this is a crime loosing someone’s certified documents) I have been mailing with theplaytech every day from 8 March till 2th of May about my documents, I keep telling them I send over my documents. Finally on the 7th of May they finalized my withdraw!

This was a long and hard fight for my money which I lasted for almost a year. Now here is the problem I played another playtech casino 3 weeks ago won an amount of 3000 euro. And I got a request to send in Notarized documents again. To the exact same address i send in these documents twice.. Just a 4 months back.

I understand I sometime have to send in Notarized documents for different casino but this address I have been sending documents over twice the last year. I am overall approved there why do I need to send in my documents again? Is this normal for a player to get such expensive. Last time it costs me over 450 euro to get the right documents over to the Philippines I hope someone from the forum can tell me if it is normal to keep sending notarized documents over there I understand if I had to send them over to different casino’s but this the same address is send them over before. The second playtech casino supports says it’s normal to send multiple documents over to this address . So I hope someone can help me with this. Is it normal?

The answer is yes and no.

Yes it is normal for certain Playtech casinos to request such documentation under certain circumstances and two different casinos will require two different sets of documentation. The facts of the matter is that the document processing unit can't be sure if the same person's opened both accounts unless they receive a set of documentation for each.

No it's not normal as most casinos won't take there security proceedures to this level, so it's unusual to get two requests in such close succession. That suggests that either you're choosing fairly poor quality venues to play with or there is something about your style of play or personal information that's setting alarm bells ringing.

Either way, i'd suggest getting the ID, getting your money and finding somewhere that doesn't employ such draconian security requirements to play.

This has been irritating me for some time, but you are the first player that can testify that notarised documents are NOT being properly looked after by this increasingly common Playtech procedure. I have misgivings about whether the Philippines are a place to be trusted with such sensitive personal data, but have been told that things are improved there now, and that tower complex is probably the most secure business premises in the country ...... yet they have apparently lost your notarised documents.

Even MORE worrying is their rejection of your choice of notary, and telling you to use one from a clearly overpriced list. This is complete bullshit, as a notary is a notary, and it is up to YOUR country's authorities to determine who may legally provide the service. It suggests the inflated prices are down to some "kickback" arrangements they have agreed with certain firms, who simply overcharge their customers.

Most serious of all is their loss of the documents having first confirmed receipt. These are far more dangerous in the wrong hands than the usual scans sent by email, and should have been handled with more care.

Although the current case is a different casino, they are clearly using the same checking company, who should already have two sets of your notarised documents, even if they have lost one set of these.

I get this "gut feeling" that there is something not right going on with this bunch of "white label" Playtech casinos that use well known household branding, yet seem to be operated by this rather secretive subsidiary of Playtech themselves.

This address belongs to Paragon International Customer Care, which although they won't admit it, is a subsidiary of Playtech set up by part of the original ownership of Playtech as a venture "on the side", but with Playtech having the option to buy them out. It is referred to as part of Playtech in the Playtech company report documents.

The name of the company was revealed by accident because they were recruiting staff through a Manila agency, and applicants were given this same address for sending in their applications, which named the company. Using this name then enabled it to be traced to Playtech via a Google cached version of an old company report document.

In effect, the UK listed company Playtech, via an offshore subsidiary, failed to take proper care of your notarised documents.

I believe all Playtech casinos that are run through Paragon international Customer care should be avoided, as they seem to generate a significant and disproportionate number of requests for players to post notarised documents out to the Philippines.

Only Playtech casinos that use in-house teams for this kind of thing should be considered, as at least you can be more confident that your data and documents are being handled in a better manner.

There are a few Playtech casinos in the accredited section, and one of these should be your next port of call, and you could offer your documents up front, telling them you are not going to deposit until they have verified them.

That is a horrible story. I always knew that those notarized documents requests are because casinos don't want to pay the winnings. They hope people will give up trying to get paid after they face that strange, dangerous, expensive procedure of notarizing the documents and sending them to the unknown destination somewhere in Far East.
Now the OP spent hundreds of his money just to get what he deserved. Moreover - his documents were sent to people he does not know. And , as they told him, they LOST those documents.
Is that a normal procedure for online casino? Definitely NOT. And the casinos asking to send notarized documents to Philippines (or wherever else) MUST be rogued. When we win at online casino- we want to be paid. But they have no right to keep us (winners) as their hostages and to ask us to accomplish all kind of their difficult, expensive and insecure tasks.

Almost a year, multiple requests for notarized documents, asking that you use a selected notary are NOT the norm.

I wish you would tell us the names of these casinos.

It may not help you, but when people are looking at whether a casino is good to play at, they will find your tale through Google.
