With more and more UK online casinos either exiting the market completely or becoming impossible to deal with due to their fear of UKGCs draconian stance I am starting to think about playing at non UKGC registered online casinos.

Does anyone have any suggestions of where a Uk player can play at a non UK registered casino using a UK debit card whilst being as sure as one can be that if you win you will be paid ?

Jesus H Christ - you cannot be serious? The whole idea of non-UKGC sites taking UK players is so they can impose stupid rogue terms and not pay you when you win anything, so they can take problem gamblers etc. Then even worse, you want to use a debit card to play which unlike credit cards are very hard to get chargebacks on. Please mate, wise up and think about what you're intending to do here, it's a disaster waiting to happen!

What kind of people do you think run these sites, willing to take unlicensed and illegal monies? Do you think they give a f*ck about their players?

I'd likely pursue the same course, though I'd be hesitant at handing over credit/ debit card details where there's no recourse if things go South.

And yes I wrote that all before Dunover chimed in, but f*** it, I'm going to press 'Post Reply' anyway

People have hinted here at trustworthy offshore casinos, but have been somewhat reticent to name them.

If I do deposit these days its at the big UK firms, Coral, Boyle, Betfair etc. Got other hobbies since all the SOW BS started anyway, They are much cheaper and less stressful :)

I have been on the lookout for these. The casinos that I know quite well and trust - which are licensed in non-UK jurisdictions - do not take UK bets. Unfortunately the ones that do seem to be all connected to some serious dodginess.

The bottom line, it is just not worth it. I would try to find something else to do with your time. I hate to say that, but the black market this exodus has caused is pretty much shit right now. :(

I play on one of offshore casinos on and off with small deposits, till now I had np, but they are lot of scam casinos out there with high bonus offers dont go in there you will get scam if you win

Aye. I’m getting a lot of text message spam from scam guys recently. I wouldn’t trust those sites with a barge pole.

At the mo, I’m happy with the UKGC sites. At some point, when the good ones have all gone, then it might be worth looking offshore.

Bitcoin casinos with a VPN is what some players do and will do more often once all that is left are the big bookies.

I hear all the guys saying be careful etc, but isn’t the most alarming thing seeing people even considering taking the risk when the UK has a “safe” regulated market for gambling? This is a massive failure by the UKGC. When will the right powers that be wake up to this?

The UKGC don't give a crap what happens outside of their jurisdiction, as long as all onshore activities that are under their control are conducted in a sanitised, KYC'd, affordability checked, "no autoplay no bonus buys no celebrating small wins stop having too much fun" manner.

Only a relatively small handful of "cluey" people will venture offshore for all the benefits that are well known about by now. The masses will just accept the RSI from clicking spin, won't even realise it's a rule, and not notice the sneaky RTP drops all over the place.

If and when the new Gamstop affordability system comes in, and folks are simply told "no, sorry, no more gambling until next month, we think you can only afford £75" - different story. Mass exodus time.

…no celebrating small wins stop having too much fun…
Yeah this is a largely forgotten but highly annoying one. I was close to seriously considering becoming a slot addict until I realised that about 95% of my play is now in silence. It was the small but catchy bleeps I used to hear for those 7p wins that almost hooked me. I mean seriously UKGC, what the actual fuck?

I've had the volume disabled for the past 6 or 7 years of online gaming. As an addict, I'm just here for the tilting 1 away misses and to be able to release that built up rage via the occasional randy savage type response once that 1 away miss, after missing 5000 times and only being 1 out, decides to finally land correctly. Oooh yeeeeaaaah.

Report they will get block 7726 from any UK mobile network

A paid for VPN is better than Tor speedwise and I have a 1Gig connection.

Now let’s look at Tor.

Tor: Although Tor speeds have slightly improved over the years, it is still much slower than VPNs. Tor suffers from high latency because your traffic is routed over three relays. In testing Tor, my speeds average around 5 Mbps, but I can sometimes get 9-10 Mbps if the relays are good, such as below.

With this speed comparison, the VPN was almost 50 times faster than Tor. Also notice above the latency is very high with the Tor network. This results in sluggish performance and websites being slower to load. Streaming HD videos will also be challenging.

VPNs easily wins the speed category and are much faster than Tor.

Speed winner: VPN

Thing is this is where the UK player market is probably headed in a few years. Also you have 3 certain streamer pretending to have apartments in the Republic of Ireland playing in € which can't be fun having to cart there uk setups computers gaming chairs and whatnot to three different location everyday. Yeah I find it hard to believe aswell and no I'm not talking about chip I'm on about the other three streamers.
