Yes, those offers you get from some casinos like White Hat ones like "100% to £100 first deposit, 25% to £100 second, 50% to £100 Third and 100% to £200 on fourth deposit" are banned from next Wednesday.

Obviously incentivizing more than one initial new-player deposit is not to permitted any futher by the wonderful UKGC.

It's not like Sweden where you can only have one first deposit offer from all the casinos combined, just one per individual casino.

:(:(

P.S. I have edited title of thread to add '??' until it's established whether this applies across all licensees or is peculiar to White Hat; their e-mail suggests it's a UKGC requirement whereas as @L&L-Jan says below, we can't find official confirmation so we'll see.....

Is there a statement about the reasoning behind this? How is this protecting anyone? What is the logic?

a year ago I use to get every Monday 21% bonus from 21casino, they stop a long time ago now, up to a month ago I use to get special offers on email 30% 40% up to 50%, not anymore
did they ban also VIP bonus?

Think they cut right back on all offers a while ago now - stopped receiving anything of note, bar the odd one for a good time now - i see they got rid of the points as well .

It's going to be that players will need to retrain themselves and just skip the whole bonusing thing - kit and kaboodle.

Which just might be refreshing. No more wagering requirements (except to show that you're not a money launderer), no more "played the wrong games, sucker!", no more limits on winnings. In fact, this may be a good thing. :p

is that mean no more SOW check 😂

I still get the 50% and 75% bonus off from a white hat casino I sometimes take them for the extra playtime
Their won’t be much left for the Ukgc to mess with soon

I think anything that requires wagering (thus encouraging longer or prolonged play time) will eventually get the total "chop"

Wager free stuff (even though used as retention tools) may get a longer life span.

UKGC need to back off for a bit now, see how the mountain of new regs play out before introducing more, they need to be careful not to totally kill the industry for us in the UK which is the way things are heading, I'm sure they won't want to do this given the fortune they make from taxes, fines etc.

Never thought I'd feel sort of sorry for the casinos but it has got to that point, walking on egg shells with all these bloody Do's and Do not's, they have to encourage their players to remain their players somehow........

No reason other than to ensure our enjoyment of the product is minimised. The logic being there should be no encouragement to play more than once, so multiple offers are a no-no.

Dear UK facing Affiliates,

As of December 1st, 2021, we are changing our welcome offers in-line with a UKGC request to remove any multi-tiered welcome offer and only provide a one-time deposit bonus.
You need not change any links or landing pages, BUT, you must change your content description of the welcome bonus to reflect this change as, if you don’t, on December 1st your site will no longer be compliant.
We therefore ask that for all **** Brands; (below is a list of the brand and which game the spins are on)

*******

***blah blah***

We greatly appreciate all of you making the requested changes promptly on December 1st to be in line with UKGC requirements.

Any further enquiries, please reach out to your affiliate manager.

Yes, from April 2022 all players must be visible on a webcam. Any seen smiling more than 3 times in any given running hour of play will be disconnected from their account for 24 hours. Exceptions will be made for simpletons, registered streamers and MP's.

and you have to have 3 covi19 jab

not sure about this on Malta casinos, if they start accepting crypto payments, do I have to pay tax on crypto on larger withdraw, in UK you have to pay tax on over £3500 per year on a crypto transaction

But which license condition state this? Can't find anything. Sure it's the UKGC and not the Betting and gaming council?

When it comes to rules they are pretty much the same thing.

I cannot find anything either - the only possibility is that this has been requested of this particular licensee who have tens of casinos??

At the same time they’ll introduce another new regulation stating that you may only be logged into a casino website for max 5 hours per week. Also all withdrawals must be in the form of vouchers that can only be redeemed for problem gambling self help books.

“Dodgy” offshore crypto casinos are starting to look less dodgy compared to the crap the regulators are doing in the UK. Is that your end goal UKGC???
