Not trying to oust Zoozie, but here's my (very brief) review of this new slot.

Medieval fantasy/magic theme is very good, as are the superb graphics & sounds on this new 20-line 10-coin slot.

Has all the usual features you would expect: Wild Dragons on all reels, 3 scattered Wizards gives 10 free-spins @ x3, and 3 scattered doorways give the 'maze style' bonus round.

However we still have the usual Rival low paytables; apart from 3 wilds, there is only one other symbol which returns more than the cost of your spin for 3 of-a-kind, and 2 of the symbols only return even money for 4-of-a-kind! :eek2:
This means the free-spins are not really that exciting a prospect... :(

So that leaves us with the 'Maze Bonus' which actually has the potential to pay much better!
You enter the 'chambers' and pick one of three directions to travel in, you keep going, collecting a prize at every step, until you find the Black Knight.

On my first try on it, this was my result:-
Spins; 213
Free-spin bonus; 2 (Bet x11, Bet x3)
Chamber bonus; 6
4 times I found the knight first step; Each one paid bet x 7 (Fixed odds?)
1 time I made one step; Paid bet x16
1 time I made about 10 steps; Paid bet x121! (9th step below)

So all in all, 8 features in 213 spins is good for feature lovers, but at the end I had wagered $205 & only made $5 profit.
Conclusion; Another low-medium variance Rival slot - but it is good fun to play!

This shot is not trimmed - the feature really does fill the whole window!

Holy shamola!
I know some wont believe this, but this is god's honest truth.
I had the slot up to get the payouts, and so had a little play on it right after making the above post.

I got the free-spins, and on the 9th spin I hit the 'Chamber bonus'...

Some may not know this, but on Rival slots the bonus rounds ARE multiplied by the free-spin multiplier... and I managed to get EIGHT steps this time, until...

So the final result was...

= Bet x 315 - Not bad off a 60c spin! :D :D

WTG!

I like the theme etc too, but it is the same as the other Rival slots - the ONLY way to win is to hit a bonus round during free spins, and you can imagine how tough that can be. It would be better to see some decent line pays and a little less on the bonus round IMO.

I liked your review, very precise. I now know 100% what this is slot is about. I does look like a good standard slot, but it is not much different from
other Rival slots. Not much innovation going on in the Rival Slot-Lab. The graphics seems to be above the usual Rival standards and I like the graphic style. With some good sound effects/midi etc. to go with the animation it could be a nice relaxing slot to play. The theme is not new, but it is one of the better ones. I am also into fantasy/medival slot themes (and computer games btw.) It appeals more to me than Circus themes etc.

It is perfect you review the Rival slots since I am not playing at Rival casinos. So I can not review or mention them, and I do now even know what is new there. So thanks for the update also. I am globally bonus banned (and also CS banned) from all Rival casinos, so I am not depositing there.

for people using this software i recommend the watch the birdie slot

its bonus rounds are frequent and usally pay at least 50 times your bet and it also has an expanding wild

here are some pics

Cool pics, Slotster! When that game first came out I slayed it again and again... but the last four or five times I played it, not diddly-squab. Last session I did over 400 spins before I got the feature and it payed about 15x:eek2: (I know it's supposed to be watch the birdie not chase it:oops:)

I can't even get to the positive in play mode on that one any longer. I'm glad it's paying you:thumbsup:

Cool pics, Slotster!
I thought it was Slotster too at first.... WRONG!

Here's a pikkie of that one showing the Pelican/Stork/Thing reloading the eggs to keep the feature round going.
Was betting 15 lines @ 1 coin to give you an idea of the value of those wins...
.

Ummm... the reason I thought it was slotster is because it had his avitar and his name:eek2: 'spin'... ya know? Ghosts in the machine.

I take it i have the same avatar as someone else?

hmm might have to change that then!

Nah... he has used that avatar before... but your post originally showed up with his name and his current avi:D

Nice to meet ya btw:thumbsup:

Some of the latest Rival slots are very easy on the eyes. Birdie, Fortune, and that other new Fortune teller one... A great improvement in graphics design over their older games.

hi lojo

Nice to meet you too lojo

i would agree

i like to play at Mayan fortune and when playing the slots in full screen it looks great

love this software. Nice and fast too!

This could be one of the slots with highest variance. Must have played more than 6000 spins at only 0.2 per spin. During a spell of about 1500 spins I was unable to get the free spins feature once although I hit the maze bonus several times. Mind you, I bumped into the knight right away on 5 consecutive occasions. However, during free spins encountered outside these 1500 spins, I got the maze bonus and had returns of about 8000 and 9000 coins on 2 separate occasions. Good knows how much steps I took. As most retruened 720, I think about 11 or 12 steps before encountering the knight.
