I recently found a new microgaming casino. They offer free $20 No deposit (no this is not a promo post) provided you register a credit card to "prove your age." Well, firstly I'm not too crazy about MOST micro casinos, however I like to test them out and get to know the casino before I drop a bundle of money. Anyway, I registered my Firepay account, (I use this account to try and protect myself from double dipping and fraud)I then received a message stating that I was not eligible for the bonus! I chatted on-line with a representative who told me I have to make a "small" deposit in order to get the "free trial bonus." So I wrote back and stated that firepay is connected to my credit card number so why do I have to reveal that personal info to a NEW casino??? His answer was firstly, "in order to verify my firepay account," secondly "to verify my age." Yeah my age, my Aunt Tilly!!!! Just felt that this was bad business and that they should honor their offers. -And God forbid they gave me the $20 considering I was a very unhappy customer, oh well. I'd steer clear of these guys.

Your best bet would have been to just register a credit card. What you don't realize is that MGS powered casinos do NOT charge your card whatsoever, in the ADD A NEW CARD mode.

You first have to make a purchase.
And in 5 years of using MGS powered casinos I've never had a double dipping incident. However, others that I know of have had this happen on RARE occasions, so I can't blame you for being paranoid about having your card double dipped, but just realize that the registration of your card is a different mode, and nothing gets billed.

Your card # is encrypted, and only the ECASH company (like Proc-Cyber) can get it.

One sure method of protecting yourself is to register a credit card like Citibank VISA. After all you know the bank has a block on gaming transactions, however, Aztec Riches will still let you register this card, and you'll still get your free $20.

As far as the promo goes, its a good one. The only restrictions were craps and baccarat. Since this is the first MGS powered casino I've ever seen that didn't put an exclusion on ROULETTE;I decided I would play roulette. I had 4 chips on #22 and proceeded to win 140 from the free cash.

Then I decided to play multihand bj at $2 per hand for about 2 hours. Microgaming's invincible dealer kicked in, and dealer won 7 out of every 10 hands, and I lost most splits and doubles.
I lost back the entire 140. Shame on me. I should have played Power Poker instead.

Thanks for your input on this, however, my opinion on this particular MGS still stands. After having spoke with a live chat operator as mentioned in my previous post, I received a blank e-mail from their support team??? It just looked shady altogether. But that's just one person's opinion (lol.) I'm sure Aztec is a fine place, but I have a bad taste in my mouth and no one from their outfit has even tried to rectify it, so therefore my position is the same. No hard feelings to you, (if you are an aff. or PR, etc.)

Oh and by the way, I recall OTHER Micro casinos who DID allow firepay registration. Also. lasseters online casino, so that was another issue??

This is certainly not an excuse, and I am not in any way connected with these guys but they are new and it could be inexperience, bad CSR briefing/training or just plain old teething problems.

Let's hope they get them sorted out before more players get inconvenienced.

"Let's hope they get them sorted out before more players get inconvenienced"

My sentiments exactly. I have seen this type of complaint today on other forums, so hopefully it will be an eye opener for them.

Just a quick note to reiterate my earlier statement... This casino obviuosly within the week (good Lord that was fast,) has really resolved some issues, atleast with me. So I'm a happy camper.

This is probably the second MGS powered casino I've ever played it without a toll free # on thier website. Support is via email or chat only, but they are very quick to respond.

Vegas USA was the other -- but once they switched to Proc Cyber, they added toll free #'s to thier website.

Anyway, if anyone manages to win and CASHOUT after playing roulette only using the free $20 or the 100% new player bonus, I'd like to know about it.

Joining Aztec casino, getting the 20 freebie and 100%match, then eagerly attacking the 50 cent BJ to make my fortune has given me a new meaning of "random generator". Please tell me how "random" a dealer win of 24 hands with 2 wins and a push sprinkled in to keep me awake? I'm gone from there!!

After my bad experience with Wild Jacks Casino, I swore I was done with online gaming. No way, Jose. I read the post about the free $20 at Aztech Riches and said, why not? So I registered my credit card (Paypal--no longer good at casinos but was then) and waited for my free $20, which showed up very fast. Well Lady Luck was with me that day and I played for some very enjoyable hours before hitting a $380 win (on a 25 cent bet) at High 5. Feeling a bit guilty that I won with their money, I deposited $20 from Paypal and played on at High 5. Oh boy, I hit it again. Now I am up to $720 and feeling really guilty. Hey I was the one who said that casinos were rigged and couldn't be trusted, that you'd lose your shirt for sure. Well, the crow was tasty and I ate it with a bit of salt. Since I am a good sport, I played for about two weeks on the money I had won and decided that I'd try a cash out for $250, not really thinking that I'd ever see the money for real. More crow for me. I cashed out on a Wednesday and had a check in my mailbox the following Monday. Major Kudos to Aztech for making me admit that there still are a few good places to wager and have a really good time. }
