Isn't online gambling fun? :eek2:

... afraid to leave money in QT... afraid to take it out...

footdr ... PM me with more info on the cookies and internet banking thing, please

You mean QT transactions go through Dubai??? Awwwww, come on! That isn't smart!!! Just as smart as going through Nigeria.

At first, banks were telling everyone that they can't possibly monitor every transaction but here we are where it seems that is/was possible all along.

Dubai in the UAE is one of our now most relied upon and most heavily new investments for the American business man...Donald Trump has several large projects going on over there right now, here's a couple of good articles relating to this...

UAE-US review progress on FTA talks
posted on 30/10/2007
Progress on UAE-US free trade talks, economic relations and possibility of establishing joint investment ventures were the focus of discussions yesterday between Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Economy, and visiting US Treasury Under Secretary for International Affairs David H. McCormick. Sheikha Lubna told her guest that current investment environment in terms of legislations and opportunities were conducive to attracting more US capital to the UAE. The US official commended the strong UAE-US relations in several fields especially the economic sectors. He stressed the importance of steadily developing bilateral relations to catch up with the vibrant growth of economies of the two friendly countries. (Emirates News Agency, WAM)

US-UAE economic relations extraordinary, strong: US Treasury Dept. Undersecretary
posted on 30/10/2007
The United States and the United Arab Emirates maintain an already extraordinary and strong economic relationship and both countries are certainly committed to further integration in the future, stressed U.S. Treasury Undersecretary for International Affairs David McCormick.
Speaking to reporters at a press briefing yesterday at the US Embassy in the UAE capital city of Abu Dhabi, McCormick expressed hopes that the United States and the UAE would conclude a Free Trade Agreement (FTA). He declined to comments on the dollar pegging currency policy of the Gulf countries which was set as a topic of recent meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council." Only the US Federal Reserve is authorized to comment or give statements on such issue, explained McCormick.
The senior US Treasury official arrived in Abu Dhabi City on Sunday starting a 2-day visit as part of a regional tour. He said his meetings today with UAE Central Bank Sultan Nasser Al Suwaidi and senior officials of Mubadala and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) were focused on further promoting a shared vision and understanding of strong bilateral relations between the two countries. Yes, I knew that Dubai/UAE and USA has heavy investment trade. But we are talking about US banks and their paranoia about anything Arab-ish. You know....Dubai = Arabs and O. Bin Laden = Arab so US banks are "questioning QT because [of] transactions through Dubai." US banks don't think logically most of the time when it comes of overseas transactions from the Middle East and Africa.

Yep Westland Bowl, you're right about that...maybe one of these days they will wake up and realize this...

Knowing that anything arab these days is cause for potential additional scrutiny, why would any of these casinos use the processor from the arab country?? It just doesn't make much sense. If 3Dice can send postal money orders from the U.S. to my mailbox, why isn't everyone doing it?? Hell even the checks I get occasionally from online gaming come from U.S. banks. Obviously this can be done expeditiously from within our borders or we wouldn't receive checks drawn on US banks. You know, I think that 3Dice has totally exposed the fraud of having to wait three weeks for payment from some places. If they can, so can the rest of you. Any reps looking for contacts or a "middle man" here in USA to purchase MOs for players feel free to PM me!

My opinion is.
They do not have one 'middle man' but several.
Nobody can buy ,I think, more than 3 money orders in excess of 3k a day without being reported.
So 3 dice must have many middle man, and a lot of funds ready in those 'middle man' hands, in order for them to go buy these money orders and send it out to winners, at the rate of speed we all know.
All the above means, 3dice 'have a lot of money':)
other casinos dont have the same amounts of cash available.
Just My Opinion.

I'm sure you're right Kakata, they probably have a small army of people here. That, or there just aren't that many cashouts going on and therefore no need for many reps here!! I was fortunate enough to test the withdrawl waters at 3Dice and I found myself very pleased with the transaction. Why are 3D the only ones doing this? I have to align myself with those that say 3 week wait for a check is a scam. If you know something that will cause players to flock to your site and you don't take advantage of it, you are either stupid or have more sinister intentions (i.e., hoping you'll get tired of waiting and play back the funds). I play alot at Villento, but they make me wait too. If 3Dice had more balanced slot games, I would probably never play elsewhere as they have proven the most important issue to me. PAY ME QUICKLY WHEN IF WIN!!!

i beginning to think qt might not be all that great after all. you tend to spend the money faster and now you say that banks might be be looking at the wires comming in? this freaks me out as i have one comming if im not hauled off by the d.o.j............laurie

Laurie, on both of my bank statements as I use two seperate Bank Accounts for my QT withdrawals, neither one ever says where the money originated from or who it is from...it only says "Wire Transfer" ...so you have nothing to worry about...relax...:D

wow, I feel sorry for you Americans and the beauacracy you have to go through to receive your withdrawals or make a deposit!

hehe, I'm so happy to live in Australia, I could receive a deposit from OBL himself and the banks wouldn't question it :D

I told you I do not think anyone here has anything to worry about, there may be a token example like Martha Stewart was for insider trading (which is like being put behind bars for eating a hamburger, yes insider trading is very illegal and wrong so do not think I am justifying it but so rampant that Martha Stewart was the token example so headlines and agendas could be made and met respectively and just like Leona for tax fraud, MS is/was not well liked by the public)...I think if no carve out, the token will come from online poker and will be a name that makes headlines...so Laurie do not become a famous US online poker player, please:D

PROCESSORS TAGGED AS POTENTIAL GAMBLING

BOA and Chase both have tagged QT-TADSERVE-Payment Systems GmbH as potential gambling transactions. So you may receive calls from bank regarding these. I did. (used debit card)

Never had a wiretransfer to my account questioned.

Found out banks use persistent cookies. They can track sites you visit including the one visited just prior to logging into your account.

Cookies have nothing to do with them being able to know what site you immediately came from. It's called a referrer string. It's a standard, and every browser on the market uses them.

The trick to getting around this is to either go to a safe site, or simply open a new browser window before going to any site where you don't want them know where you just came from.

If you want to give them NO information about the site you're coming from, then go to the location bar (where you type an address in) and for the location, enter "about:blank". This is an internal function for both IE and FF (possibly others as well), and will display a blank page in the browser. The site you visit immediately afterwards will have no clue as to what site you're visiting from.

And as far as I know, it's virtually impossible for any site to read cookies from your computer, other than their own. If you take a look at your cookies, (under internet options), you'll notice they're sorted by domain. One site simply cannot read cookies from another domain.

At this point in time, I don't worry about so much about stormtroopers hauling me off for gambling online -- only because I don't have enough money to make it worthwhile for the DOJfux to go to the expense of extorting funds from me. However, I am concerned that money may get locked up/lost/confiscated in any of the several hoops it has to go through to get to/from the casinos. (Thanks so much NETeller for increasing my paranoia.)

well, 3dice has a new withdrawel option back into the credit card that you have deposited. How do they do those things that no other casino can?

It's going to be interesting to see how that pans out. As far as I know, I think they'd be limited to refunding the amount of your purchase back to the card...The key word here is "refund"...that's exactly how the credit card company will see it...

How in the world they can refund any amount above your purchase is beyond my knowledge...

It's my understanding that yes, a merchant can only refund up until the TOTAL of what has been charged, but seeing that the option is new, some of us have deposited in the thousands, so theoretically, I could withdraw up until my total deposits.

Hmm not sure how that would look....bad or good. And what would happen when you hit your ceiling? They couldn't do this forever...

True, but I don't know how there are doing this to begin with, kinda like the postal money orders, do they have an army of people out there lol.

you are right about that, I think it shows that the other casino's are using the gambling act as a way to screw over americans. imo

Hi Guys,

The new withdraw option at 3Dice is a new service offered by VISA, it is _NOT_ a bookback option, and amounts larger than the total deposited can be paid to your card. (which includes popular debit cards like netspend - processing time on the VISA end is 3 to 5 days after it leaves 3Dice (which is instantly)).

It is a very convenient and secure way of getting your winnings back, and it is rapidly gaining popularity as cash-out method. I'll be happy to clear up any further questions you may have about this !

Kindest Regards,

Enzo

What is a bookback option?

My question is ,,, if I can have it cashed back to my Visa and my Visa is on my checking account, then the money goes back to my checking account??? Also what fee is VISA charging for this service? I know they have just recently started charging me a fee for funding with my debit/visa,, and the fee goes to VISA ,, not my bank.

People haven't been able to get a casino WD sent to your debit/credit card (USA residents) for many years now. Both VISA & MC don't allow this. I still can't grasp how they are doing it.
