netspend mailer card - can I cash it out?

I recently got a netspend card in the mail...(i didnt ask or sign up for one it just came).....Is it possible to cashout to the card? I ask because they say i can put my direct deposit on it ( yea right)...they have a routing and account # could we cashout to the card like a bank wire??

I'm not sure how they work, I also received a netspend card last year but I could never find a place to load it, I called and mentioned that all the places they told me that loaded the card no longer did it, and they told me to use western union, which I never did...call them up, they are very helpful when you have questions..

I have a netspend card but I never tried to cashout on card because I never had a cashout yet. lol But all that aside I don't know if it would be a wise decision to call them and ask if they allow cashouts on the card because the cashouts would be under a casino name so wouldn't that be a red flag?

I know my wire transfers to my bank account NEVER have a name they always just say wire transer. So if the banks dont catch it idk if netspend would or not....maybe i will try it with a small cashout and see....i will report back.

I dont think you can withdrawal to netspend - I think someone in the past has tried and it didnt work. I could be wrong though so let us know.

Answer to your question is no you can't cashout to Netspend if it is a wire transfer. They do not accept wires. The Wired Plastic card takes wires.

I don't know about Netspend and ACH withdrawals (if there are such things anymore).

I don't remember about doc requests as I have had mine for a while. But stands to reason they would want to know who you are, money laundering and all. But I will say this, WP is not sketchy at all. Just be knowledgeable about the fees as they are more costly than Netspend.

i have tryed ach with netspend and they told me they don,t take them and the money was sent back but i was also told they do do wire tansfers. but that may have changed since then. as annie said so i,m not sure.

I also received a wired plastic, I never used it but they also never asked for documents, it must be something new, they sent me one about 5 years ago..
I don't remember if I requested it or not, it's been so long..

My first cheque from an online casino came complete with a Netspend application. They don't accept Canadian players.
