I think I should of posted here before I tried to make my deposit.

Its been many years since I played online, I only done it once and back then I could use my Visa debit card. After reading many good reviews on spin palace I thought I would sign up. After signing up with them I tryed to use my visa card and it wouldn't go through, then they send me a nice email telling me that the financial institution which issued your card does not wish to take transactions for an online casino. In the email it says maybe I should try another way giving me other options. I clicked the link on the email to Neteller and signed up with them, again I tryed to use my visa to fund it and again it would not go through, so I used another option with the online check to fund it, now I have to wait a few days for them to make a deposit, then I go back to the site to put the amount in before I can use the funds.

I don't have a problem with any of this, its alittle late now but my question is did I do the right by going with Neteller, are they "others" that may be better to use online? Neteller did charge me $2.67 to fund it, I don't have a problem paying that either, its just been a long time since I'd played and I don't know much about depositing on the online casinos. I have a paypal account, but thats not one of the options.

Back in 2000 I used my visa card and deposit $20 in Captain Cooks casion, I did very good and cashed out over $700, they sent me a check within a week, my bank acted like they didn't want to take it because it was from another country, I had to wait I think 14 days before I could use it.

It looks like things have changed alot since then, now I'm reading on this board that you can cash out and it be on another account within hours. I would like to play online again, reading these boards help alot with who are good and who are not.

Where I live we have a casino, but with gas prices and it being a 3 hour trip, I think playing online would be better for me now.

Thank you for your replys.

Best US method for deposit

Kimalag,

The best method is if your neteller account is certified, find a casino that will pay the fee for neteller "instant cash". Funds will be available within minutes.
Neteller will call your home number and confirm and the EFT will be processed in the 4-5 days. (Unsure if the casino pays this 7% charge if they will change the cash in time). This is done at the casino site and if you do this neteller site you pay the fee. I am not clear on your 2.67 charge on neteller EFT.

Once you fund your neteller you are able to transact to and from. Then you can get a Neteller debit card transfer winnings to the debit card and go to a local ATM and get CASH in minutes.

Only other option that I would consider is at Party Poker's scheme of sending you to a site for a prepaid phone card that they will then take.
Haven't seen any casinos adopt this one though. Click2Pay looked like an option at one time but, neteller is much better.

Many other schemes out there such western union, phone charges etc.

I have a MC debit card from a very small bank that still works on some sites.
I use to use a First Internet Bank card but they stopped allowing charges about 6 months ago. Unsure if prepaid debit cards even work from the U.S.
though.

Hi

Thank you, I will look into the Neteller card.
I looked at my Neteller account again and the $2.67 was in on the Transaction Amount fee.

Date Description Debit(-) Credit(+) Curr. Status
Sep 2 17:57 EFT InstaCash-4717 - $32.67 USD Pending
Sep 2 17:57 Fee $2.67 - USD Pending

I deposit $30 to open it up and this is what it says when I look at my account. It is pending now to wait untill they deposit a small amount into my account. I made the phone call to them, they verified my information already.
They where very nice to me on the phone.

I have a prepaid debit MasterCard from NetSpend ( www.netspend.com ) which I've used for deposits for over a year, and it's never been declined (knock on wood). Just used it yesterday at Spin Palace (gets a lot of use there!) and use it at quite a few other micros. From what I've read, it seems that not all debit MasterCard transactions are equal.. depends on the bank behind the card. Mine is 'Inter National Bank'

The card has several benefits including
1. you can transfer a PayPal balance to it for free
2. you can transfer from one Netspend card to another for free
3. you can ACH to it for free
4. you can fund up to $2000 per day on the card
5. no credit checks, not tied to any bank account

Neteller seems to have the quickest cashouts though.

When playing at shady outfits I would definetely suggest Creditcards, as you would be able to chargeback your deposits at least, in case the Casino is trying to take your money the funny way.

Neteller does not give an option for defrauded customers but are the fastest when it comes to receiving a transfer.

This is also my deposit method of choice. I have only had this card declined at one place......32RED....

Just wondering....have you tried funding at 32RED with the Netspend card?
