My experience as a high-roller

For those of you with some bucks to spend, this is my personal experience to date at various casinos. Sorry, Casinomeister, some of these are in your accredited list, some are not, but I need to point out this is MY experience alone, and might differ from everyone else:

The Good

Buzzluck - although I no longer play here, and got a bit annoyed with the RTG software, these guys are really good. At first they seemed to offer very little support, but if you spend a fair bit with them, they will go WAY out of their way for you. Great bonuses, excellent service, polite, and although I don't go in for their live lounge stuff, it will provide a lot of entertainment for many players. Absolutely lightening fast payouts!

Vegas Towers - I had the most fun here. The really look after high rollers (particularly if you get hold of the management) and they comp really well for a Microgaming casino. I think out of all of the casinos I played at, this one was the best. I went a little overboard on my spend, but I'd definitely play here again. Payouts are very fast (48-72hours for me).

Intercasino - I really enjoyed playing here. I didn't withdraw at all, but the software is good and I had fun. Might be good for lower stakes though.

Red Flush - Good, but cost me a lot! Would have liked to receive more bonuses, but hey, you can't have it all. Still good for high-rollers though.

The Bad

Nedplay - Lots of promises made, but they never delivered. They claim to be a 'group of players' who started the casino, but they don't seem to understand what players want. Low bonuses, almost nil support, argumentative and arrogant. I really did not enjoy this experience, and would not recommend them at all.

Intertops Red - I posted in Casino Complaints > Non-Bonus Issues about these guys. 'Nuff said!

Cool Cat - I don't know why... I just did... just goes to show they are a Rogue for a reason! My win was only 4k but they never paid. I gave up trying to get my money. They could have gotten a lot more out of me if they actually just paid that win!

Slot Power - Urrrgh.... rude staff, little or no bonuses... just not a good feel to this place. I just 'felt' something isn't right. Can't quite put my finger on it.

The Not Sure

Klub8 - This is a tough call. I like it, and support is good, but there is just something about it. I seemed to lose extraordinarily fast after a cashout. I would play here again if they offered the right inducement, but it's maybe a bit too new and isn't quite geared up for high-rollers. Good for low to mid range players though! I like their layout and design... very nice and exciting!

Well, like I said, that's my take on this... I haven't really played anywhere else that was either really good or really bad, but I have played at maybe 30 other casinos besides these ones, and these were my pick.

Despite 'bonus differences' with Buzzluck, and 'streaky' software, for high rollers I'd give this one the thumbs up. But with every casino online, you have to DYOR.

Hope this helps some of the more cashed-up players! :D

Thanks darkmatter! I'll probably try one or two of those at some point (the good ones obv - are you able to give me an idea of the kind of bonus / VIP programs you were able to access? perhaps by PM if not comfortable stating them in this thread? pls?)

For anyone else who catches this and is interested / involved in the "links in signature issue"....

This is an example of a post where I am willing to accept is objective - *because* there are no affiliate links to those casinos in darkmatter's sig. Had there been, I wouldn't even have bothered to read it. I would have dismissed it as worthless instantly due to the obvious conflict-of-interest potential.

I genuinely believe the no affiliate links is signatures is a great decision for the long-term health of the CM forum.

Cant play at Intercasino or the Playtechs any more so no comments. However, I had roughly the same experiences as you. Definitely agree on Buzzluck and I am a low-roller.

My harsh comments are on Intertops RED and SlotPower though. I have a an issue with a table game at Intertops and though they reply it was a standard " we have sent your issue to the software provider. As soon as we receive a reply we shall let you know." It's been a month and still old hat. They couldnt give me the slightest information on my query nor any def date. They pay licence fees to RTG so I am surprised.

SlotPower isnt good either although management has changed and they are about to be fully accredited here. I went to live chat and told them the former management suddenly decided to ban me from bonuses after I won a bit there. I asked them to reconsider this in the light of the change in management. More than a week has elapsed and there has been no reply. What sort of customer service is this supposed to be? I dont mind them not changing their decision but at the very least my account should be reviewed and I am told of the decision. I am disappointed.

Thanks, and I hope you do find it useful. Yeah, I'm just a player, but I have played at enough places to at least share MY experience.

As for bonuses, my thoughts are that anyone spending above 10k per month should be getting up to 50%.... perhaps more if they are particularly unlucky. BUT it has to be fair for the casino as well... if you are up, then don't expect bonuses! Most casinos will bonus up to 50%, sometimes more, if you have spent 20k or more with them. If they don't, then I would play somewhere that does. As for meeting playthrough, if you are betting 20-100 per spin, it's not too hard to meet the requirements.

I have played at Playtech casinos at 130% bonuses before! They can be more generous as I don't think they pay royalties on the bonuses like MGS and RTG do. Obviously 130% means you have to really deposit a lot of money, and usually sell your soul with extra deals. I would, however, tend to avoid casinos that comp over 100%, as this suggests to me that they know you have no chance of winning!

I admit I share the same thoughts on the casinos that literally throw bonuses at you - whilst at the same time, I was around *just* at the end of the 'glory' days of bonuses (at legitimate casinos) which were so unbelievably exploitable (for an advantage player) that it's just hard to make sense of it all sometimes - I'm very 'conflicted' sometimes with thinking "this is too good to be true, it's terrible business strategy, something must be 'up' that I don't know about"...and sometimes I think back to the days of 100% to $2000 bonuses with super low playthrough requirements on games with 0.4% HA and stuff - it boggles the mind :what:

I guess I'll add some thoughts here re: high roller experiences....

The Great (so far at least)

32Red (amazing CS, great deposit bonus - I'm not the *biggest* fan of MG casino software, and I feel weird asking for bonuses, I prefer they are just offered to me - if anyone from 32Red is like "Why aren't you playing with us now then if you agree we're so great?" [and they are great])

Millionaire [and their 5 partner casinos] (where I mostly play now - they throw a lot of bonuses at me as I've done huge volume and have been Diamond [? - the highest] "level" for some time) - really like the software. Can't hit a JoB Royal to save myself though, but will hit 5 in one day at some point I reckon ;)
*I just wish Millionaire ran Slots tournaments with less 'vig' - I quite enjoy Slots tournaments, but they set a prizepool of 100k or w/e, then sit back and clean up god knows how many hundreds of thousands in entries / rebuys. I would literally spent a LOT of time playing their Slots tourneys if every rebuy merely had 5% taken out of it or something (ideally less ofc) but atm, it's WAY WAY more. Can't really blame them though, can you? No one is twisting our arms to play them

The Decent

ChiliCasino - great staff, fantastic CS for the most part - had to self-ban  (so embarrassing lol) as I play poker there a lot and I just don't have the discipline not to play big on casino whilst sitting on empty tables or during off-peak hours. *One issue with Chili (which may yet be resolved but hasn't as yet as I really haven't been pushing it) was a server speed issue [not sure if Chili's side or NetEnt's side] which resulted in random strong lag which would occasionally have me doubling on 19 or so when I've clearly pressed Stand and clicking Double for the next Blackjack hand - at max bet, even if very rare, those kind of mistakes get very costly obv)

Purple Lounge
(Microgaming) - great staff, great CS - again, had to self-ban for poker reasons.

--------------

The Bad (imo - many disagree obv)

InterCasino
- won't extensively flog a dead horse here, but to summarise I believe I was taken advantage of a lot, I KNOW I was lied to a lot, mislead intentionally, and generally felt I was just considered to be a total "mark" to be bled dry once it was all said and done. My person opinion is their business practices need to change FAST - right now some people are running things in a way that will hurt them long-term I feel (at least it will be my intention to point out those things like the Auto-Hold issue - hopefully objectively so that I don't become viewed as a bitter stalker just waiting for them to slip up, as that isn't who I consider myself to me - but I will speak out when a rep is mocking our intelligence, as I felt the Inter rep was attempting to do in thelawnet's thread about the Auto-Hold debacle)

VIP Casino
- nothing in the league of what I think InterCasino is guilty of, but treated me in what I felt was an insulting and very much unfair manner. I think I'd been playing Max Coin for a while (before Crypto bought in their shocking Auto-Hold) when I had JJJxx and forgot to hold so dealt the board clean for 0.00 return lol - it wasn't a huge deal, but I called up just to see what they'd say, I didn't actually even ask for anything, just started explaining how obv there's no possible angle for me there with pat trips - and the guy was just flat-out rude, insulting, interrupted me a few times - I think I hung up on him pretty quickly. Just makes no sense to treat people that way, imo.

I had a very good experience at InterCasino back last year. Whereby I cashed out around 40k in the end, although I did play some back. Withdrawal was quick and hit my bank account within a few working days.

Strange thing though, they have never asked me for security documents once, which considering the size of my cashout is pretty much unheard of.

Roxy is another casino whereby I did rather well. The downside is that your withdrawal stays in a pending state for 48 hours before they flush it. The temptation therefore to reverse your cashout and play again can be great. I had to not go near a PC for 2 days to ensure my last sizable withdrawal from there got flushed! LOL :)

32Red although not won much, they are good at giving you discrectionary on the house bonuses without even asking.

:envious

I tried to withdraw 130k I *think* - they limited me to 10k. I said "oh come now" - they said if I sent in all necessary scans they'd open it up so I could withdraw. I went to a LOT of effort to get those scans as I was traveling and drunk most of the time - sent them in. Limit wasn't raised.

Called them up a bit annoyed. Was promised limit would be raised. Limit wasn't raised. Then all hell broke loose with the min coin spin, and overall frustration at them from my end meant they very much won the game - a game I didn't realise we were playing until it was over and I'd very much lost :)
