What games are people playing that are the most profitable?

I'm looking forward to the results of this! :D

Feel free to reply with an explanation or description if you chose "Other" as your choice.

Thanks!

JAJA

I chose the one winning the poll..

Is amazing how many people I have seen making thousands of dollars out of Jacks or Better with the bonus play feature... specially on playtech.

3 Card poker should be on that poll as well

Video Poker by far. I have won an above average number of royals so I'm definitely ahead on this one.

I've had some nice sessions of blackjack lately too.

Slots never really works for me though I wish it would - sooo much easier just to sit and press the spin button.

Hmm before I answer, what does "profitable" mean?

I doubt that there's a single game I'm ahead on...well almost. I just discovered "Desert Treasure" on Playtech and am up on each of two sessions there so far, but that won't last :) Oh and I'm up on "Triple Olives $1" at Intercasino :D I'd probably be closest to being "up" on Video Poker, but it bores me solid after a while.

Seriously though, are you after what's "profitable to me" or "profitable to punters in general" with this poll?

I chose other. My most profitable by far is having a bonus to play with at any casino. The game itself doesn't matter, whether it be poker, slots, VP, whatever. I've found playing with bonuses to be the most profitable of all. I don't play at a casino unless the bonus is tempting and without much hassle.

Great question!
(Except maybe you should have said 'least loss on')

The only software for which I have 100% solid facts for the last 3-years is Crypto.
On analysing this I found the following:-

Ahead 19% on Sweet Thing - but it's early days yet!
Ahead 7.7% on Roulette - but I very rarely play it as not allowed in WR.
Then the following losing games in order of least loss:-
Casino Poker Games -1.5%
Bejeweled -1.9%
Blackjack -2.5%
Video Poker -2.9% (Don't play very much)
Slots -6.7%
Solitaire -40% (Are you reading this Tennis_balls? )

Most profitable for whom? The player or the casino?
For each individual player, what game(s) do you tend to win the most at.

I don't need a poll to determine what games are most profitable to the casino they all are, to varying degrees.

This was intended to be a "luckiness" poll. :D

Poker by far, tournys, and cashgames. Nothing like putting 20 bux in a tourny and winning and having 8 k. :D
Also Isis is a good bet, and same with the Mega 5 1 line game.

I definitely agree that competitive poker is the best way to make your money last. Provided you don't get a bad beat. I've been beat many times by low cards when I had pocket aces or a suited big slick - that just stinks! But your money goes a lot farther, without a doubt.

I would like to say that VP has been my 'rock', my dependable money maker. It isn't. It's trailing behind slots slightly for the past 2 years. I'm not wildly fond of slots. But if you 'do' any bonuses at all, more than likely, slots is required. On my own money I play VP, then when I've lost 75% of my deposit, I go to slots.

I play BJ, war, or red dog. VP never seems to hit anything more than a straight flush, and thats very rarely. I am owed at least 2 RF's (without stats, just I feel I deserve them :eek2: )

The latter, is a real drainer, but when the 3 of a kinds come in, it's really pretty! had one recently on a RTG on a $150 bet!

I play only slots.

Most profitable - by far - are good to go and secret admirer.
explanation?
I never give them more than five spins per night and had the feature super-often (winner screenshots...).
Certainly a case of good luck - what else---?!

Wow, nice one! I have yet to hit 3 of a kind but I don't play Red Dog very much although I do enjoy it from time to time.

When you can hit those 5 scatters, that is the BEST!

Here's what it looks like at $90 a spin:

For each individual player, what game(s) do you tend to win the most at.

You should have had none as one of the picks. I swear, I literally hit NOTHING...I have deposited almost everyday for the last 3 months and have hit NOTHING! Say I deposit 50-100, I never go over my deposit, not even by $1, it's really very strange. I thought it was just my favorite casino that was doing it to me, but I have tried 2 others and nope, nada, nothing...my money goes in and just goes downnnnnn.

I even emailed and called one of the casinos (the one I play the most at) asking them if they have me on a "don't win list"

I just makes no sense to me...if you deposit everyday or almost everyday for 3 months you should likely hit something right?

Maybe I should change my name to "the unluckiest player out there"

I hear that. It's the same thing for me too. In fact that's why I started this thread/poll - I want to know what the hell people are playing that they're cashing out so much money from. All these people cashing out 4 or 5 digits from a $20 or $50 deposit. Darned if I can figure out how they do it. :what: I go to bingo in real life and can win regularly. But hop online to play, and the vacuum starts sucking until the bank account is dry.

As far as your deposits - I think this might be part of the problem. I find myself depositing small amounts too and before I know it I've "donated" $500 or more. That makes me think that if I had just deposited the $500 all at once, I might have stood a better chance of breaking even or coming out ahead.

Sadly this was in "fun" mode. You can bet that my first stop (after the cash-out button) would have been the Winner Screenshots thread if it had been for real money!

Poker and Video Poker.

I had a bad dry spell with All Aces Video Poker last week but luck turned around big time this weekend. Straight Flush (300 coins), 4 Aces (2000 coins), 4 Aces (2000 coins) within 50 hands of one another. Plus some smaller wins on Bonus Poker afterwards while screwing around with some reload bonuses. 6 or 7 cashouts pending now. I still need a Royal on Microgaming.

Cashanova and Isis were horrible today. I took 100 spins of Isis and never hit for more than 2.5x my bet.

I hope I never see another roulette table. I'll leave it at that.

I hadn't played Texas Hold'em in quite a while. But since the poker rooms started putting free chips in my account I started again (it keeps me occupied so I don't play the casinos too much).

I put "reel slots" because they fit my strategy. Although I play bonus slots most and some VP, i dip into the "reel slots" just to build up a little bit of balance from time to time, so I go in, make a few bucks, then dip out back to the other games. They are far less streaky and there's usually a point when you are "up". Thankfully they are soooo boring generally, that's it's easy to quit while I'm ahead :D

Basically, the more boring the game, the more likely you'll finish up ahead :D

Ya see... In my first reply I was looking at long term... the total for almost 4 yrs play.

If you want to talk the last year... especially the past few months... I'm in exactly the same shape as you. Doesn't matter what software -- RTG, MG, Crypto, Playtech, Boss -- I can't get above my starting balance... slurrrrp, down the tubes it goes. I am at least 2 cycles behind for a RF. (And my last RF was while I was playing freakin' nickels.)

OH. And about starting with $500 instead of $50. I signed up at a new casino last week, had over $300 to play with (including the bonus) ... briefly got it up to +$25 very early on, then sluuurrrp... lasted less than 30 minutes. In fact, I managed to blow through over $700 in bonuses this month without hitting anything better than a $25 bonus round on Thunderstruck. I only managed 2 1/2 x playthrough on slots.

My NETeller is empty. It has NEVER been empty since my first cash out years ago. I gamble only with what I win. It's been too long since I've had a good run at slots or VP. I'm tired. I'm frustrated. Like you and a lot of others, I feel as if I've been 'profiled' and put on the 'do not win' list. (I'm not saying this is true, I'm saying how I feel.)

So, I'm taking a break. The only casino that has noticed so far has been Fortune Lounge who gave me a $50 bonus -- which lasted 3 minutes. :D
