New Slot Announcement MONSTER QUEST by Big Time Gaming is Previewed!

OK, Monster Quest is rather an odd new slot, see the features and let me know if it winds you up or not!

Like you said in the video it looks/feels like it would be very annoying to play that bonus.
Once you got the guy up to 73x pretty much every value that landed were 1000x+.
Looks like and probably is very pre-scripted/controlled bonus rounds.

That said, if you can do 10p spins on it i will probably end up playing it sooner or later.
Cant be much worse than Spicy meatballs, and i do play that one every once in a while. =)

Ive been playing the demo and some of the dragons that land are absolutely mental multiply amounts, 10000x+ - wonder what the odds are of hitting anything even close to that.

Yeah, the thing is unless i misunderstood something the knight has to already be at 10,000x+ to collect one of those 10,000x win dragons meaning to catch one of those top prizes you need to first win 10,000x from collecting smaller values.

And also, the bonus ends if you collect a dragon, so you need to avoid all the 'small' 1000-5000x dragons on the way to making your knight strong enough to take down a 10,000x+ dragon.

Yeah you’re right on the first bit for sure and I didn’t even know the second bit - feels like literally zero chance of ever hitting the 10,000x ones in that case.

the decline of btg is really outstanding.

they once delivered innovative and fun to play games but in the recent years 99% of their releases are not even worth to try :(
Indeed.

They’ve rolled out Feature Buys on a lot of their games in other markets. IMO, they’re some of the worst in terms of returns. Straight off the bat, you can expect the first few buys to return far less than the cost. It all feels really scripted.

And thats a shame because some of the early bonus buys they added were imo pretty fair.
White rabbit being a good example, but also extra Chili with those coins you collected.
I would usually collect the coins until the feature only cost 20-ish x stake to buy.

White rabbit would (probably still does) often return 50-70% of the buy cost with the downside being that it was hard to get that bonus going.
Still better than the bonus buys you see today where you can spend 100x and get literally 0x return.

Just to clear something up - the big values are held on monsters, but each bonus round there is ONE golden dragon with the daft amount like 28,888 on it. Once you collect enough small character/creatures to get the knight up to say 150x it can then kill monsters which offer 100x plus.

The green monsters are low starting at 1x, the blue are the next highest and pay 25? to 499x, the red pay 500-999x and the purple 1000x - 10,000x??? (not saying this is accurate, need full rules to know for sure!)

Every bonus gives you a knight and places a golden dragon somewhere. Kill enough green, you'lll get powerful enough to kill blues, then reds then purples. I presume once you get that lucky you'll probably kill the golden dragon and then bonus ends.

It also ends when the whole grid fills with pointless monsters that your knight cannot kill, so you could theoretically get killed off with a full grid having just a 15x knight in play.

So effectively a lottery bonus with a gold dragon variable maximum win.

So look at the image - I won 75x. The blue monsters can be 25x so say I got 3 of them appear on next 3 lives - my knight would then go to 150x and start a chain reaction.

It would kill the 150x and go to 300x, then would kill the other 3 blues of 180, 200 and 300x becoming 980x at which point it would kill all reds and purples below 980x then become 6780x. At which point it would kill all the other amounts originally over 980x (another 8000) becoming 14780x.

The golden dragon is 22888x so I still wouldn't get this at that point although the grid would be now cleared aside from my 14780x knight and 22888x golden dragon. At this point I doubt the game would be dropping sufficient monsters in to get you over 22888x as that would mean a total win of nearly 46,000x.

I'm sure someone will get this kind of scenario eventually, but I wouldn't like to spend 35x bet over and over trying it!

Dunover is never beating the “BTG employee”’ allegations

I have had a good few bonuses on this and you get a good idea from the start of the bonus of what you are going to win, land loads of blues you know you will not collect any as you will collect loads if you get one and if you get a low blue at the start there is a good chance you will get it as it wont set off a chain reaction of collecting more .Just another btg with lots of potential but this time you can see it on the screen and just not get any of it  on another note btg have stopped posting the biggest wins of the months on their youtube maybe there hasn't been any the last few months.......

Do people really like slots like this? Way too much going on for me and most of it seems designed to just annoy/tilt. Lucky for me I would get bored long before that happens.

It's like the 'hydration break' of slots, providers market these things as fun, engaging, interesting but most of us know what it's really for.

I'm sitting there thinking 'this isn't fun' after a few bonuses and then laugh because ironically the demo currency is FUN.
  • Megaways has to allow multiple cascades like bonanza otherwise I find it pointless.
  • The 35x hold and spin was worse than the 8x 10,000 megaways option. Landed the hold and spin enough times through the 8x and had better results than the 35x option.
  • Hold and spin is boring. Does anyone really want to see 100x+, 1000x+ and 10,000x+ potential while collecting 1x and 3x wins? Only got to a blue dragon once at 35x.
  • The main 12 spin bonus just has too much going on. Win multi like bonanza but as there's no multi cascade it only goes up if the knight collects something. Then it can randomly switch to the hold and spin if enough things land. All that for 190x best I got over however many tries.
I know a lot of people don't like BTG but bonanza has a great base game, Beef Lightning volatility is ridiculous but I like all round and Donuts bonus has the best use of hold and spin I've seen for any slot. Using it for the multiplier before the main bonus was really a genius move.

I'll stick to those if i want to play BTG slots.

Played it once last night, and never again, and that’s coming from a self confessed BTG fan!

So many new BTG slots in the last year I just don’t play, complete downhill spiral it would seem, and the innovative spark seems to have died after the likes of lil devil.

Or is it they just going to volatile now to be more towards the boring trend of HV monsters?

TBH, BTG have way more good slots than that,

Bonanza, extra chilli, wwtbam, DHV, Lil devil, donuts, chocolates, vegas MW, white rabbit, opal fruits, wild flower, final countdown are all worth a play.

But if you notice something, that list don’t include any of the most recent releases ☹️

I find bonanza the best out of chilli, turkey, wwtbam, vegas so I stick to that these days. I'll give extra chilli a go now and again.

I don't tend to like slots with gambles or things like bonus buys/boosters that aren't available in the uk. Always feel like the slot is designed for those things rather than regular play.

DHV, lil devil I never really liked when I tried them.

Chocolates as well, I stick to donuts. Started playing it a bit more recently so want to see what it can do.

Opal fruits haven't heard of til now. Just checked the demo, looks interesting. WIll give it a go at some point.
